Chapter 34 - Red Roses

It was night and they were in one room. Kath and Lucifer are in love, and Lucifer is holding Kath's hand.

"Do we have to sleep together?" Ask Kath who feels weird.

"You don't like it? Usually you stick around and chase me wherever I go." Lucifer pouted as Kath asked like that.

"A-I like it," Kath felt Lucifer was a little annoyed by the question earlier.

"Good, I like you too." Lucifer's words make both of Kath's cheeks blush. He was not used to such statements.

"Do you always speak a formal language like I-you?" Ask Kath innocently.

Lucifer recalled when Kath nagged him for always talking short and always using me-you. Makes Kath so emotional because Kath always doesn't understand what she's saying. "I'm sorry for my habit, I keep learning how to talk casually. But it seems so hard." Lucifer.

As long as Kath disappears Lucifer continues to learn what Kath likes, he's been trying not to talk briefly so Kath doesn't nag her.

"It's okay" answered Kath.

"So, what have you been doing all this time?" Lucifer was curious about Kath's life all along.

Kath thought for a moment and replied, "I just woke up a few years ago and I woke up in a forest where all the plants were dry and there were no animals. I walked and walked out of the forest. But I always go back to where I started and I can finally get out of that place." Answer Kath.

"No wonder I had trouble finding you. It turns out you just woke up a few years ago and your lost habits are still in your body." Lucifer imagines Kath who is always lost and resigned when he does not find his way.

Lucifer suddenly thought of something, How can Kath be in the forbidden forest? There must have been a creature that found it and how could it not drink Kath's blood when Kath was unconscious and how could Kath look like a creature that has no power and no way of using it his power. There are a lot of confusing things going on.

Kath who saw Lucifer daydreaming was like thinking of something turned to Lucifer and pulled on Lucifer's shirt.

Lucifer wakes up when Kath pulls his shirt off. Lucifer changed his position to face Kath. Their eyes looked at each other, "What's the matter?" Ask Lucifer.

"I want to ask." Kath said, Lucifer raised his eyebrows.

"What did I look like?" Ask Kath curious.

"You are a very strong woman, stubborn, arrogant, reckless and always want to fight with anyone." Answer Lucifer.

Kath looked at Lucifer with a look of disbelief, he felt it was highly unlikely that his nature was like that and thought Lucifer was just fabricating.

"Can't believe?" Lucifer said, Kath shakes her head.

"You're the woman who stole my first kiss and gave the liquid to my mouth past that kiss."

"But I like it" continued Lucifer.

Lucifer drew closer to Kath, kissed her forehead and hugged Kath. Kath buried her head in Lucifer's chest in shame. Lucifer and Kath kept telling stories until they fell asleep.

Lucifer awakens after sunrise, he looks at Kath who is sleeping very fast. Lucifer stroked Kath's smooth cheeks and got rid of the haircut that covered Kath's beautiful face.

Lucifer felt he was very sedated by the beauty and uniqueness of Kath. It was the first time Lucifer had ever felt so happy in his life that he finally understood the meaning of love. Kath is all he needs in this life, nothing else. Kath herself was very happy. It was a nice day when Kath was next to her.

Kath opened her eyes, staring at Lucifer who was looking at her. Lucifer kissed Kath's forehead and stroked Kath's hair slowly.

"Good morning" Sapa Lucifer smiled as she watched Kath wake up from her sleep.

"Morning," Papa Kath is back.

Lucifer smiled, "I'll take you to the park. I know you like red and I have replaced all the plants with red roses. I hope you like it." Lucifer chose to plant red roses because the meaning of the flower is a strong desire to keep his partner. Lucifer wants to keep Kath until the end of his life and won't make Kath suffer again.

"Of course I like it, even I really, really like roses." Kath's reflexes hugged Lucifer tightly. Kath was very happy, he very rarely saw roses in the forest.

"Good, if you like it. I'll take you there this afternoon, after I finish my work." Lucifer thought about the many jobs he had to do.

Kath's smiling face turned sullen, she was eager to get there now. But Lucifer took her later that afternoon, "Can't it be now?" Melas Kath while pulling Lucifer's hand slowly.

Lucifer who was sitting pulled Kath's hand firmly and made Kath fall on his lap. "I'm sorry, but there's something important I have to do. I promise I'll take you there after my work is done." Lucifer said as he thought about the work he had to do. Work that cannot be delayed. One of his jobs is related to Rix. Looks like Rix found out that he found Kath. If Rix finds out about this, he'll never shut up and take Kath away from her. He must devise a plan so that Rix can't take Kath away from him.

"Alright," Kath said with a frown.

Lucifer pulled out Kath's nose and smiled at Kath's pouting face, "Very worrisome." Lucifer said he saw Kath who was still pouting.

"Don't frown and you look so adorable like that, it makes me want to bite that little lip of yours." Lucifer.

Kath's reflexes held her lips while she stroked her head, "Please promise me you'll accompany me this afternoon and won't make any more excuses." Kath thrusts her little finger at Lucifer.

Lucifer replies to Kath's little finger, "Promise." Reply Lucifer and kiss Kath's pointed nose.

"Alright, I'll go first." Lucifer stood up and ruffled Kath's hair.

"Stop it" said Kath, who felt like her hair was falling apart because of Lucifer.

Lucifer stopped shuffling Kath's hair and drew closer to Kath's ear, "Your husband works first." Lucifer's whisper that makes Kath feel like her heart is beating fast.
