WIFE TO MY HUSBAND

WIFE TO MY HUSBAND
CHAPTER 31.

Morning greeting, Adel woke up since before dawn with blackened eye bags and a haggard face. The heartache of her husband's treatment is still imprinted and etched too deep in her mind, making her almost unable to sleep even though she has been embraced by Ms. Hanif.

"Already, Nduk. Don't be sad, let's have breakfast first yuk, you'll have to take medicine" Bu Hanif persuaded while pushing Adel's wheelchair towards the dining room.

"But Mas Zidan didn't start Adel last night, ma'am. Is he still misunderstanding?" great-grandson Adel lirih.

There was no spirit at all on Adel's face, making Bu Hanif and Pak Hanif so devastated and sad.

"Oh, don't think so. You have to be happy so you can heal quickly, there's still us, son." Mr. Hanif touched Adel's hand after they reached the dining room.

The atmosphere was still quiet, only the housekeepers seemed to be busy taking care of the house and moreover preparing breakfast for the host.

"Adel want me to make milk?" haggard Bu Hanif soft.

Adel turned and nodded slowly. "Thank you a lot, Mom. Sorry to bother."

"Repot what tho, Nduk? No mother at all bothered. Do you want all of you too?" haggard Bu Hanif to her husband anyway.

Mr. Hanif nodded. "Father of green tea, ma'am."

Ms. Hanif nodded and went into the kitchen mingling with the workers who were busy cooking the breakfast menu.

"Sir." Mr. Hanif clasped Adel's hand. "Don't ever say anything to Mom and Dad, we always do everything for you. You are precious, so never look down on yourself."

Mr. Hanif rubbed his daughter's head slowly, Adel lowered his head in so sincere affection from his father. The affection that he almost forgot because he fell asleep with the love that Zidan offered him.

The waiters began to arrange the breakfast menu at the dinner table, sharing a delicious and appetizing menu perfectly in there. But none of that made Adel tasteful and hungry. He just stared at all the food flatly.

Ms. Hanif came with two glasses of milk and a glass of green tea for her husband, and placed them in front of Adel and Mr. Hanif.

"What do you want to eat, son? Let me get it," said Ms. Hanif as she moved to get a plate for Adel.

"No, Ma. Adel wants to wait for Mas first, Mas Zidan has not come," said Adel refused.

Ms. Hanif looked at her husband with a sad look, then Mr. Hanif also hinted at Ms. Hanif to return to her place while waiting for Zidan's arrival.

They sat in silence, no one wanted to start breakfast until all the family members got together. But it seems that the one who was waiting was not aware that he was waiting.

Thirty minutes passed without a sound, Adel increasingly looked weak with a paled and contorted face. The worried Ms. Hanif finally asked Mr. Hanif to call Zidan.

"Sir, I think it's too late. It's impossible that Zidan hasn't woken up yet, you can call him sir. Poor Adel waited too long from earlier," pinta Bu Hanif while wiping cold sweat on Adel's forehead which is now only silent in silence.

Mr. Hanif shook his head faintly. "No, Ma. You are still upset with Zidan, you are still lazy to meet him especially until you have to call him all, Mom. He's got legs, he's got brains, he can't think?"

"Mr!" reprimand Bu Hanif does not like it while glancing at Adel who increasingly looks sad.

Mr. Hanif held Adel's hand gently. " Sorry, Nduk. But I'm really upset with your husband, I still don't accept he's guilty of you on the basis of such empty accusations, Nduk. You know what, right?"

Adel nodded weakly while forcing his smile.

"Not what, sir. Adel knows," said Adel.

"Yes, I called Zidan. Just a minute, Nduk." Ms. Hanif went to the second floor where Adel and Zidan's rooms were located.

"Zidan! Son, are you awake? Let's get off breakfast first, Adel wait for you, son. Zidan!" exclaimed Bu Hanif while knocking on the door of the room repeatedly.

Long enough, Ms. Hanif knocked while calling Zidan's name, but the intent did not continue to say. Anxiously, Ms. Hanif finally opened the door of the room that was not in the key.

"Zidan's? You're in there?" exclaimed Bu Hanif a little loud, but there was no answer at all from inside the room.

Ms. Hanif barged in with her heart pounding, she was afraid that something might happen to her daughter-in-law.

Ms. Hanif took a look at all the corners of the room and even went to the bathroom, but the one in her car was never found. Only silence surrounded the spacious and beautiful room.

"Is it possible that Zidan went back to his mother's house?" mumbling Bu Hanif after not finding Zidan anywhere and his anxiety is not proven.

Bu Hanif finally stepped out of the room, and slowly closed the door back.

When she was about to go down, Ms. Hanif accidentally saw the door of Nisa's room that was tightly closed.

"What is possible ...."

Bu Hanif stepped quickly towards the door of Nisa's room, and hesitantly knocked on her slowly.

"Noise! Nisha! you awake yet? let's get down to breakfast." Bu Hanif raised his voice hoping Nisa could hear him.

But Nisa's room was the same, silent.

"It's impossible that if Nisa doesn't exist either, there's no way they're going without Adel's knowledge right?" monologue Bu Hanif.

Anxiousness once again surrounded Bu Hanif's chest, he was afraid that Zidan would vent his frustration on Nisa. And it will only make Adel more hurt about his attitude.

Ms. Hanif knocked even harder, even this time she used her palm to break through the door of Nisa's room.

"Nisa! You're inside! please answer Bude, Nisa!" exclaiming Bu Hanif who already resembled a shout, it was possible that Adel and Pak Hanif could hear it from below.

Ms. Hanif continued to pound on the door of Nisa's room, no matter her hands were flushed and the current pain was whether Zidan was in there or not.

After a long while, finally heard the sound of a door lock that was opened from inside.

Bu Hanif was relieved, but also anxious at the same time.

"Bude?" said Nisa who seemed to have just woken up from her sleep, even though the sun had risen since then even now has begun to rise.

"You just woke up? is Zidan inside?" cecar Bu Hanif fast.

But Nisa had not yet answered Bu Hanif had pushed the door of her room wider and wide when she saw a pair of legs lying on the bed.

"You ... you ...." Ms. Hanif retreated with teary eyes.
