Chapter 24: The Dark Market

The three of us spent more time in the library. This is the only place that few people visit and is our favorite place to study.

"It feels like we just came here but there's been another test."

"You know how else this school is doing monthly evaluations I hope you're Marick doing the best thing."

"Don't worry Anna, I've written a lot of cheats."

Now I'm more worried about him.

"Your friend is still locked up?"

"That's how, even though he did it I think he's just happy happy."

"There are some men who live like that."

"Girls are there too."

"Just a little."

The two of them were always arguing with something unimportant. I do have a lot of thoughts about myself but obviously I choose to ignore them all.

I studied as usual, helped Miss Cilia and then did some tests.

Those are the days I live if there is no mystery I am investigating. Miss Cilia stretched her hand after much writing in her book.

"Days like this I miss so much, without any problems."

"Please don't use sarcastic style on me Miss Cilia."

"I don't know what you're saying."

She was clearly insinuating me.

"Anna tonight you're free, I want to go shopping and I want you to accompany me?"

"Shopping in town."

"To be precise on the black market, you might be able to find something rare for cheap there or valuable for you."

"I've always been curious actually Miss Cilia you always try to provoke me right to make a move?"

Like everyone says his thoughts are hard to guess, even so I decided to come along. Things like this might come in handy in the future.

Miss Cilia and I rode a broom to get to a town further away from the nearest town, where there was a road leading underground and it was surprising that it was more crowded down here.

"What a black market, obviously this place is bright" I protested.

Miss Cilia laughed a little.

"If the black market is obviously an alliance that's going to shut it down, well you could say this was a black market before and turned into a market like this."

I would say that this is like a place of learning or so, on the streets many people are gambling and eating roadside food, he said, several more appeared to be doing suspicious business inside the small alleys.

"It doesn't mean this place is good, you better be careful."

I nodded in response then continued to follow Miss Cilia who was in front of me. I think he just wanted to buy seed plants and so on and stop in front of the old man who rolled out the mat.

"You need anything?"

"I want some information."

"That takes twice as much as you want to pay depending on what you want."

Looks like I was wrong.

"What is the alliance doing now?"

"We see, hmmmm. It looks like they've got a report on Oliheim's whereabouts in the forbidden forest and are going on a three-day hunt again."

"So, it turns out they work too."

"Because Mr. Rider was seriously injured people started to be a little wary. I mean only part of you knows."

"I know... And Anna you want to ask her something too?"

"Jack Ornel, please tell me about it."

I said it seriously.
