Anna Holland: The Oliheim Witch

Anna Holland: The Oliheim Witch
Chapter 43: The Sinking City

The four of us headed for a location quite far from the academy, it was behind a certain mountain that featured a beautiful stretch of trees from the forest. Behind him was a huge lake.

Seeing her my feelings were quite unpleasant and exactly what I felt was once a village.

When I drowned my face in the lake I could see there were many houses that were now turned into fish hiding places.

"Give me the potion."

Like what Miss Helena asked me to do, whereas the three of us will improve at the back.

"This Anna's gonna be okay?"

"It should be like that, just experiencing a sick body after eating it doesn't matter."

Marick listened while shuddering.

"I hope he won't accept the effects any more than his body can withstand."

I nodded in agreement to that. On the other hand Miss Helena had drunk it and then threw the bottle to the side. He started by creating fireballs on his bat originally it was only as big as a baseball and it got bigger and bigger to the size of a house.

He looks to be strengthening his fireball again at the maximum limit.

When it has achieved what it wants, the fireball throws. I didn't see it very clearly, it just created a tremendous explosion until steam floated into the air along with gusts of wind and splashes of water rushing towards us.

After that it can be ascertained that the lake water has receded and leaves only the state of the village as it is.

Marick even took this opportunity to collect the fish lying nearby.

"We have abundant food" he said happily.

Sarah and I approached our teacher who was just silently staring, no need to ask anymore she was shaking because she was holding back the pain from the side effects.

"Let's rest here all day before coming back."

It doesn't matter to all of us ditching one day because of this affair.

I smiled happily when I saw the reaction of Miss Helena who screamed in pain with just one finger touching her shoulder.

"Sarah, maybe you want to try it too."

"Stop, it hurts a lot."

Marick cut.

"What if I try, I'm interested in touching Miss Helena."

We agreed to tie Marick up all night. He is the one who is always on the lookout for us.

A few days later the village we saw was back in renovation, I saw Miss Helena who was chatting with her villagers. It is obvious that they have known each other for a long time.

"The work here is done, let's go to the nearest town."

"Right, I want to eat satay."

"We don't work all day."

We ignored Marick's words and when we got to town we bought everything we saw.

"Buy, buy."

I'm eating voraciously like Marick right now.

"You two please don't hurry we've got plenty of time all day here."

Before long a procession was shown on the streets with a giant doll that resembled a certain witch, after which they burned it and danced on the ashes.

"What's that thing that's often done at festivals?" ask one of the residents.

"Of course, we do it often. Burning Merlim Ratmir dolls is a tradition passed down for generations to dispel bad luck."

Ughhhh...

What if I really were Merlim Ratmir they would also just burn me?

Hearing him is pretty scary.

The evening of the festival is closed with thousands of lanterns being flown into the sky, this being something beautiful to watch together.
