After sending the threatening message, I went straight to Ian where we promised. Of course he didn't know that the message was from me because I used my bodyguard's personal number.
the time is 09:00 p.m. Ever since the message was sent, there was only one reply message I received from him. Not a special message, but since this afternoon many of my people have been troubled to face the people from the Alterio family.
"When I was on their side, why did they attack me?" I muttered in disbelief at what I saw on my headphone screen.
"You kidding? Anyone would attack if they got such a threatening message. You may be looking for a storm with the Alterio family." Geri told my secretary while driving my car.
"Threat?"
"Don't pretend to be such a fool!" His impact surprised me, especially when his eyes looked at me reflected in the rearview mirror. Yeah, he's easily upset. Because his nature like that is very interesting, without realizing I often tease him.
"There hasn't been a day, but they've been able to move this far huh?" I said I didn't mind Geri's nagging and turned my attention out of the car.
"Please listen to me sir!" He said while stopping the speed of his car when I got to the place I was headed.
I saw an alphard that was parked pretty not far from my car, "he deliberately parked his car in front of the restaurant, huh?" I muttered feeling annoyed by his blunt actions.
"He's here, Geri can you wait for me in the car? Then call my son and ask him about it." Before I get out of my car.
"Okay sir!"
Without wasting much more time, I immediately walked towards the restaurant with light wide steps while paying attention to the surroundings. There are no customers but me and Ian. I deliberately ordered this restaurant to meet him in secret.
"You're late Albert." Ian's voice surprised me when I just arrived in front of him who was enjoying his meal.
What did he say? My mind is sweating cold.
"Geez, did I surprise you?" Her question gave me goosebumps when I saw her cold gaze.
"You waiting for me?" I tried to divert the conversation as I approached the empty seat in front of him and immediately sat there.
"Isn't this a threat message from you?" He answered while showing the message diheandphonenya lying on the dining table.
This guy is really terrible!
"In addition, those people of yours can't hide their identity well huh? Should I teach them?" Continue while putting the dinner knife and fork in his hand.
"Hah~ I'm surprised you can move so fast. How do you know that's my message?" I asked after sighing.
"Ansel's looking for it for me." She replied with a sweet smile, "of course I knew it was a message from you immediately, and I asked her to convince me of that thought." Continue while reaching for his drinking glass.
"La–lam tau? That's not my personal number." I muttered while leaning my body on the back of the chair I was sitting on.
"You sent a very clear message to Albert." His words made me look at him seriously, "you asked us to delay the arrest of Claretta and her mother right? And again you sent that message after meeting Ansel and hearing all the truth from that boy and Victor. Then ... Only you can stop us." It made me smile when I heard her explanation.
For some reason the longer I looked, the more interesting this person in front of me became. I want people to be on my side. That's what I think of Ian Alterio.
"Reason?" I asked him to test his ability to deduce something.
"Because no one else knew of this matter to that extent other than Me and Ansel. We haven't told our people to arrest them today, in other words .. We're just telling you to make sure you're going to interfere with our plans or not." It definitely made me understand.
After hearing about the decency and decisiveness that Ian had, I doubted him when I saw him acting like a fool while he was with Ansel. But at this moment, I believe that he is very polite. Seen from the way he sits and treats his interlocutors, even though his eyes look unfriendly.
"Then, did I interrupt your plans?" I close my eyes.
"No." His reply surprised me, "you're just preparing to help us, and until your preparations are done. You're gonna pretend to be the one who's crossing us. That's what I see in your face." The next makes me even more confused.
"ft... Hhahaha, how can you speak so confidently? What if I'm really against you?" I couldn't hold my own laughter when I heard Ian's answer.
"After seeing you finish talking to Ansel and Victor, I know what you're gonna do. Your expressions and gestures are too clear for me to understand." Say it after drinking the water.
"really?"
***
"Hee... so he really wanted to get involved to make such a plan?" I muttered to the back of Albert who was walking away from me.
"It's over?" Ansel's voice surprised me who was standing in front of the restaurant door.
I saw him coming from a dark place with his disheveled appearance. White shirt that has come out of his pants with buttons on the collar that has been opened. Then his right hand was inserted into his pants pocket with an ash suit held in the other hand.
"You've been fighting?" I asked after being satisfied to pay attention to his appearance.
"No,"
"You can't lie to me you know!" I was annoyed when I saw the expression he made, his innocent and innocent pretentious expression, "you are old, you should know yourself and stop doing things like this. If your daughter finds out, she'll be very disappointed." I continued while taking slow steps towards my car.
"I don't need advice from people who don't know themselves either."
"You!" My growl was irritated by his words that insinuated me blatantly.
"... So what are you talking about?" The question clearly diverted the conversation.
"You'd be surprised to hear that." I replied after sighing deeply to ease my emotions that had peaked because of it.
"really?"
"For the time being Albert asks us to step down the arrest of Claretta and her mother for three days at least–"
"Why? Didn't we agree to solve this problem as soon as possible?" His grunts were upset cutting my explanation.
"He said he wanted to teach his wife and father-in-law a lesson in his own way before we put them in jail."
"He–doesn't protect them?"
"It seems she feels betrayed because Claretta hid her past,"
"So he's on our side?"
"You could say so."
"So what lesson will he teach them? If he's on our side, he should at least tell us his plan, right?"
"You're very thorough, Ansel? Yes I am happy that you are on my side" I muttered as I opened the car door beside me.
"Don't waste Ian's time. I don't like long-winded."
"Patience a little, I was just about to tell you. Don't be surprised yeah ..," I said trying to calm Ansel who looks upset because he didn't get an answer from me for his question.
"Albert was working on his divorce papers with Claretta, so when we caught them. Albert wouldn't interfere, all the media focused on their families wouldn't be in control if they knew Albert's wife was doing something crazy like that. Albert did it because he didn't want to deal with all that media, so he's going to act like he doesn't know anything. And we can catch them without a problem" I explained, folding both hands in front of my chest.
"He sacrificed his wife for not dealing with the media?"
"You know the popularity of that person, right? If his good name was smeared, then it would be difficult for their family to rise again. And again, from the beginning they did not marry on the basis of love. Whether it's true or not, but Albert said so." I then noticed Ansel's serious expression.
"... if he's right on our side, I can only be grateful. Because I don't need to add any enemies that can make things difficult for me like that." He said after being silent for a while.
"You're right, let alone having the power of the big media." I agree with his thoughts.
"So when can we start moving?"
"We'll see how it goes later." I answered while showing my best smile.
