Liana came to the office of her husband, Nicky. With mixed feelings, Liana stepped into her husband's room.

"Welcome, Madam."

"Oh, hello...."

Liana and Nicky's private secretary greet each other. Liana looked unfocused and just chalked up her feet smile.

"Please, Madam."

The secretary kindly opened the door and invited Liana into the Director's room.

"Thank you," replied Liana who immediately entered the room, without stalling.

The door of the room was again closed by the Secretary, Liana immediately stepped closer to Nicky who was sitting staring at the computer screen.

"Honey," Liana said to Nicky.

Nicky looked away, "My dear, you've come. Sit down," said Nicky standing up from his seat and walking over to Liana who was not far from him.

Nicky invites Liana to sit on the sofa, Liana is still not talking. However, if he does not talk about eating he will not quickly finish dealing with Bobby's problem.

Looking at the silent Liana, Nicky became anxious. Nicky reached for Liana's hand sitting beside him, holding Liana's hand so that Liana felt calm.

"Say, what's wrong, honey?" ask Nicky.

"Hm, I'm sorry about that. I don't know anymore, what to do and how. Please don't be angry" Liana said.

Nicky frowned, "Speak," said Nicky in a soft voice.

"B-Bobby..," said Liana silent for a moment.

Nicky widens her eyes, "Yes, what's wrong with her?" ask Nicky impatiently.

"Bobby came looking for Maurine" Liana said.

Nicky let out a long sigh, "Honey, to be honest. I don't understand what you're talking about, Bobby's looking for Maurine, didn't Maurine refuse to come with you and stay with Bobby?" ask Nicky.

Liana nodded her head slowly, "Yes, you're right. Maurine used to live with Bobby. But for a while now, she lived with her husband. I'll tell you something, Bobby sold Maurine to be a nightclub worker, to pay off a debt. There was a man who was interested in Maurine, and eventually married Maurine. She is Genta Aiden, she kept her marriage to Maurine a secret for some reason. Don't know why Bobby went to Genta's company and found Maurine. Isn't that outrageous?" obviously Liana was at length.

"Let me digest what you say dear" replied Nicky.

Nicky looked at Liana, "Have you met Genta?" ask Nicky.

"Yes, I met him and we talked four-eyed before I went to see Maurine at the Hospital."

"What's the Norry problem, it has something to do with Maurine? so Genta acted? ah, sorry dear. I just want to know" said Nicky.

"Yes, you're right. I'm sorry," said Liana.

"Why apologize, I'm the guilty one. It's been a long time, but Norry still can't accept you. Am I not to blame?" nicky.

"You've been very kind to me, Nicky. Don't blame yourself for this. I failed to melt Norry's heart," Liana replied looking at Nicky with a smile.

"Follow it up, forget about Norry. Hm, do you have a plan now?" ask Nicky.

"I want to see Bobby, can I? umh, I just wanted to ask her why she..," Liana's words were interrupted by Nicky.

"Don't meet him. I'll ask someone to help me investigate this matter. If it was like you said, he would've been protected by someone. Just in case, don't let us let our guard down and lure Liana."

Liana widened her eyes, "You're right. I forgot something. Bobby is a loser, there's no way he really dares to meet Genta without anyone supporting him. Sorry, I'm too rash."

Nicky rubbed Liana's head, "Please yourself first. I'll take care of this for you, don't worry. Okay," persuade Nicky.

Liana nodded her head, "Thank you," Liana said in a soft voice.

"Yes, take care of your health and don't think too much. I love you" said Nicky, kissing Liana softly.

Liana hugged Nicky, Liana was happy to meet Nicky. If only he had known Nicky in the first place, had he not fled in an arranged marriage, bad luck might not have come.

Nicky hugged Liana's body tightly because of sobbing. Nicky knew, Liana was very sad and feeling depressed.

"Sorry," Liana cried. Liana let go of her embrace and lowered her head.

"For what? look me in the eye, Liana. Please," said Nicky, holding Liana's chin up so she could see Liana's teary eyes.

"If I hadn't run away, we might not be like this."

"not necessarily. You see? you left and I got married, but I lost my wife until I finally met you again. It's not your fault, Liana. Meeting, farewell is destiny."

"I was really sorry that I refused that match. I wish I knew it was you, Nicky. If I had known the man I ended up marrying was a man who brengs*k. If...," Liana's words came to a halt, Liana remained silent without any more talk.

Nicky wiped Liana's tears, "Listen I'm fine, baby. Never regret anything you have done. It's your decision, whatever your decision is you have to accept it. You might regret meeting and marrying Bobby, but..., did you forget that if it didn't happen, how did Maurine come into your life? fill your days" Nicky said.

Liana's heart is beating. Liana had almost forgotten something precious. He almost forgot, without going through anything he regretted. How could Maurine be present, Maurine who had always loved him wholeheartedly.

"Aren't you mad at me?" ask Liana.

Nicky shook his head, "No. I never hated you. I love you, my dear."

"Nicky," she hugged Nicky tightly.

"Forget all that has passed, Liana. Now that you're my wife, don't hesitate or feel awkward with me. So long married, you finally expressed your true feelings to me. I feel happy, not because of what happened to you. Except for our fate so strong."

"Maybe, you're a man God intended for me, Nick."

Nicky took off a hug, "Oh, of course. Where else would you find a handsome, nice guy like me?" nicky said teasing Liana.

Liana smiled, "You are, your confident illness is starting to recur. Hahahaha," Liana replied laughing.

Nicky smiled, she was happy to make Liana confess her honest feelings. Guilt, regret always comes. Nicky hoped he would keep making his wife smile.

Even though he was injured because he was rejected. In the past, when he and Liana would be betrothed, happiness could not be expressed anymore. However, at once the sense of happiness was replaced with disappointment that Nicky kept in his heart.

Nicky who knows what Liana is like has started to like Liana just by looking at Liana's photo. While Liana, she never wanted to see a photo of her future husband, Nicky.

As Liana leaves and finally breaks off the family relationship. That's when Nicky began to despair, he resigned to the arranged marriage arranged by his parents for the second time. Loving wife? Love wife? I never thought about Nicky at all. How did Nicky end up with Nicholas and Norry? his two sons and daughter are the result of an affair between his wife and his biological brother.
