Being a Savings Wife

Being a Savings Wife
Your beauty is just for me

Nick took Laura to sit on the park bench. He gave a bottle of mineral water to Laura. "Drink, calm yourself." Nick doesn't know why he feels so familiar with Aura. Aura's sweet face was like no stranger in her eyes. In fact, since the first meeting in the hospital he had been hypnotized and wanted to get to know Aura even closer.

"Thank you." Laura was not excited anymore. He was just holding a bottle of drink that he did not catch. Laura's eyes were still staring straight at the rides of the game that was mobbed by children.

"You playing? Let me keep up with you." Nick was still trying to cheer Aura up.

"No, I want to go home" Aura refused. He would think of other ways to find his family.

"But I won't let you go with your face bent like this." Nick grabs Laura's hand so Laura can't go anywhere.

"Get your hands off, Nick."

"No, before you tell me your purpose in coming to this place. There's no way you're coming here without a purpose, is there?"

Laura remained silent. He had no close friends who would listen to him. In fact, Diko never cared for her, from the beginning her husband thought foolishly about what he would do that was important Laura did not interfere with Diko's affairs. Now there's Nick. Should he talk to someone he just met? But, come to think of it like Nick is a good person.

"Why silence? Aura .. I am a person who can hold a secret. Don't worry, I don't have any bad intentions for you. Let's just say we've been friends for a long time."

Laura breathed a long breath. "I'm looking for someone. I think they still live around here turns out I was wrong. I didn't know this place had changed." Laura cries for being an outcast child and eventually returns to a foster family that pretends to love her.

Nick releases Aura's hand. He put a small handkerchief in Laura's hand. "Sorry, I made you cry. Take your tears away, just relax I can help you find them."

Laura wipes away the tears with Nick's delicate cloth. "You want to help me?" tanya Luara interrupted his sobbing. Nick nodded. "But I'm gonna trouble you."

"It must be a hassle and it's not free." Nick smiled he liked to tease Laura. "I'm kidding, I know this place very well. In fact, I was born and raised." Nick pointed at the swivel comedy. "You see that? Old buildings used to stand there. That's my house, my palace, my playground, my happiness, my laughter, my cries are there. But, everything changed when he was there and left at the same time." Nick forced his smile but, his eyes turned red remembering his memories in childhood.

"You're remembering something? I don't even have anything I can remember" Laura said. "Who's gone?" Laura held Nick's arm.

Nick looked at Laura. Two people who initially do not know each other seem to have the same inner bond and can relieve each other's suffering.

"My mom" said Nick."My mother died after giving birth to my sister." The tears fell as well. Yeah, that's how Nick is. He could not help his feelings when he remembered the woman who gave birth to him.

"Sorry." Laura stroked Nick's arm."I didn't mean to make you sad." Laura's cry broke. He was never even on his mother's lap.

"Why are you crying?" Nick laughs. "Women are the most beautiful creatures. It was my grandmother's house, we used to move. But his memories will never be forgotten. Don't cry." Nick wiped Laura's tears.

"I miss my mom!" Laura is getting hysterical. "I don't even know where his last marriage was. I don't know where my father is. I don't know why you sold me to someone else? I'm cuter than you are, Nick. At least you laughed at your mother. At least your father didn't sell you. At least you're not living with a heavy burden!" Laura hit her chest that felt tight.

Nick was glued and digested Laura's words. She felt what Laura felt. Nick felt dejavu with Laura's words. Nick recalls when his mother gave birth and when his father gave a red baby to someone else.

Could it?

"W-Just...." Nick holds both sides of Laura's arms to face her. "Who are you looking for?" Nick's heart was racing faster. Could they have a blood relationship?

"My family, Nick. My father," Laura replied as she calmed down.

Nick's body shook, his hand just fell off. Her eyes still locked onto Laura's bead. Has God granted his prayers now? Was Laura his younger sister ever kissed as a baby?

"Can you help me find them?" Laura pinned her hopes on Nick.

Nick nodded in thought still guessing.

Laura's phone ringer distracted her. Laura took the flat object in the bag and it still had Diko's name on it.

"Ha---

"Where are you?" The voice of the man dominated. "I'm already in the apartment. Why aren't you around?"

Laura kept Handpone away from her ears because Diko's voice almost deafened her ears.

"I'm outside" Laura replied.

"Where's outside? Don't trouble me. How about you stray?"

"Share location, I'll pick you up."

"Not per---

"Now, Laura!" Diko closes the telephone.

"She had a habit of silencing other people's speech and ending telephones at will, impolite!" sleep Laura.

"I have to go, Nick." Laura stuffed her flat object into the bag. "Thank you for today. I'm sorry I've been taking you."

"Look easy. Where are you going? Let me take you." Actually Nick heavily separated from Laura moreover there is still much to ask this blonde woman.

Laura refuses Nick's offer. He didn't want Diko to misunderstand him. Nick finally finds a taxi for Laura.

Diko got angry and slammed her black suit on the floor. She was angry that Laura wasn't in her apartment.

"I came home early on purpose but you weren't home. Just look after this and I'll finish you off!" Diko opened the tie and rolled her shirt arm up to the elbow.

Diko's hand trembled reading the message that Laura had sent. His wife was in a shopping mall.

"You played too far." Diko grabbed the keys to the car she had thrown and went to pick up Laura.

In the shopping mall. Laura polished her face at the beauty salon to disguise the puffy look on her face. He didn't want Diko to suspect that he saw it.

"It's done. Miss is beautiful."

"All women are beautiful."

"But, Miss Laura is indeed very beautiful. In fact, without makeup is much prettier." Laura laughed but, her laughter faded as she looked at Diko's reflection in the mirror.

Diko was fascinated to see Laura's beauty. She thought Laura was already shopping and spending as much money as most women out there but it turned out that Laura was just sitting sweetly in the salon.

Diko berdehem. "You done yet?"

"Here we go home now." Laura became awkward as Diko continued to pay attention to her appearance.

Diko took the ATM out of her wallet. "Wear this."

"No need, I can pay for it myself" Laura refused.

"I don't like to be disputed. Quickly finish me waiting outside." Diko opened the door made of glass and turned her back. She was waiting for Laura there.

After finishing her business Laura approached Diko.

"Thank you for picking me up. I'm sorry I'm troubling you."

Diko just silently looked at Laura from the tip of her foot to the tip of her hair.

Laura feels skinned by Diko. He walked ahead of Diko. But Diko pulled his hand.

"Don't leave without my permission. Your beauty is just for me. Don't show it in front of others."

Laura smile. "You're starting to fear I'm being glimpsed by other men." Laura blinked one eye.

Diko screeches. "You've got a big head." Diko held Laura's hand.

Laura pinched Diko's cheek. "Why don't you want me?" Laura was unwilling to waste the opportunity, she spoiled and leaned her head on Diko's arm. Diko smiled at him.
