Part 37: A Long Journey

I know what is on the mind of Guntur mas, to worry about the condition of uncle makes Guntur mas look so fragile. I could only strengthen, I hugged my husband's body tightly. I can't feel my tears flowing through every heartbeat of the person I love. Mas Guntur softly kissed my forehead while wiping my tears.

I can only pray that the people I love are always in God's protection. Initially Guntur mas will go alone but I am worried about his emotional state so I force to invite Bima and Aryo if I am not allowed to come. After a little debate finally the heart of Thunder melted and agreed to my advice to invite Aryo and Bima.

The three of them continued on their way to a village where uncle was.

“Bim, your sakjane knows about opo ora? Aket want dewe muter nang kene keep” (Bim actually you know what the way is not? We continue to muter here). Groused Aryo

“Iki bener Yo, wingi I yo liwat kene”(It's true Yo, yesterday I also passed here). Denying Bima

“You know Mbah Diman?” mas Thunder and Bima nodded except for Aryo.

“Include me Amar, one of the students in the padepokan mbah Diman” We also introduce ourselves briefly.

“Padepokan?” Ask Bima confused

“The story is long, next time I tell you. So you're the nephew of Uncle Damar?”

“Iya, how is my uncle doing?”

“Quiet first, there is something you should know. All the villagers have moved including Mbah Diman and uncle Damar”

“We better go first from here this place is no longer safe”

“Are they all okay?” Bima asked with a face full of worry

“They who? What do you mean Widi?” Suddenly Bima's face changed wrong

“Already we have to go from here before it starts dark”

We were all following Amar's steps, along the way Amar told him about what happened to their village. And Amar's whereabouts here because uncle has a premonition of our coming.

The village we are in today is called Tajemsari village, this village is famous for its tough warriors and has two very, very well-known temples. These are Padepokan Jagaraga and Padepokan Aji Sukmo. This padepokan led two brothers Mbah Darmo and Mbah Diman. But unfortunately greed makes Mbah Darmo want to master the padepokan Aji sukmo held by Mbah Diman.

Mbah Darmo no longer uses martial arts but Mbah Darmo and his students take the path of black magic. We finally beat them to fight. Until finally Mbah Diman asked Uncle Damar for help to help us, but something unexpected happened. One of the disciples of Mbah Diman became a traitor and injured his uncle while he was asleep. We all let our guard down, because we never thought that there was a traitor in our midst.

Because of that, we decided to secure the villagers while looking for a way to fight Jagaraga. But because our people have fallen a lot, Diman was reluctant to take the risk to retake our village and village.

The problem facing uncle apparently is not a trivial problem, as far as I know uncle is not a rash person in solving a problem. Surely uncle already has a plan in advance, but because unexpected things happen to make uncle can not realize his plan.

The journey we went through was quite far, and occasionally Amar asked us to hide behind the bushes. Maybe the people from Jagaraga's paddock are still lurking the existence of the villagers.

Hearing the silliness of Aryo made Amar quickly darted the branches of the tree.

“We just wait here” Mas Guntur took a meditative position and separated his tribe with his body. Guntur tried to find out around this forest, but there was one clue he got. Although Thunder mas strongly felt the energy but he could not find the existence of the energy.

The Thunder tried to look for direction, he saw a white fog that was thick enough but he was unable to penetrate it. It seems like the fog was deliberately created to protect something. Guntur decided to return to his body and it turned out that Amar had returned with the fruits of the forest.

“What did you find?”

“I found nothing but mabif”

“The fog was deliberately made by Mbah Diman to protect us all, so that our existence can not be easily found”

“But the problem is not only that, we all lack foodstuff” The look on Amar's face turned sad. I could feel the weight of what he was carrying right now.
