Lathan and Ardhan cross the same path to their school. Lathan asks the driver to deliver Ardhan first before going to her school.

“Thank you, Brother. I'm going first. See you” Ardhan said as he got off the car

“Yes, study diligently. Don't make trouble” Lathan's message before the sister gets away.

“Yes, I understand. Daah” Ardhan responded with a calm demeanor then waved at Lathan.

“Street, Pak”

“Baik”

Lathan's driver drove back to the car while Lathan read a book during her trip

Not long after he arrived at school

“We have arrived, Den” said the driver told Lathan

“Lathan who focuses on books starts to look out the window and closes the book

“Yes. You can go home first and come back before I go back to school. Remember to go pick up Ardhan too when he comes home later”.

Lathan spoke in a calm and elegant manner. He looked dignified with an expressionless look on his face

“Good, Den” driver Lathan turned away after getting an order from Lathan.

Lathan walked gallantly through the school gate. With a backpack worn on his shoulder Lathan looks so charming. Everyone looked at him, especially the girls.

“Who is that? He's handsome once”

“True. He's very handsome. It is not wrong if I ask to enter this school”

“What grade is it? Senior here or new students like us?”

“If he's a new student like us, where might already be wearing this school uniform”

“True. There's no way he's a new student here. Then he is a senior student?”

All the new students in the school whispered to each other even though they were currently conducting a welcoming ceremony.

“Lathan, have you arrived?” ask one of the teachers who deliberately approached Lathan.

“Yes, Sir. I just arrived.  Excuse me, I want to go to class” Lathan responded with a cold attitude.

“Wait, Lathan”.

Lathan's footsteps stopped hearing the teacher call him. He turned and looked back at the teacher.

“What's up, Sir?” lathan asked with a calm demeanor

"Can you give a little welcome as a senior student while achieving in our school?”

“Sorry, sir. I'm not used to talking in front of people. You should look for another senior course” Lathan responded with a cool attitude with a thin smile on her lips.

“Only you are the most accomplished in this school, therefore I asked for your help” said the teacher again who tried to persuade Lathan

“I have fulfilled your request to arrive early and now I also have to fill in the welcome. What's in it for me, sir? There I will be trouble with all those who know who I am. You know for yourself how my fellow troops with me are busy chasing me here and there. If it has to be coupled with this, I think it will make me even more hassles.” Lathan continued to resist with a cold and indifferent attitude.

The teacher was speechless considering what Lathan had said.

“Begin only. How about you keep giving them a welcome but you don't have to tell them your full name. I'm sure new students won't dare to find out more information to their seniors. I just want you to be a motivation for them to learn more diligently”.

Lathan was silent considering his teacher's words and also saw the look on the teacher's expectant face.

“Alright, but only for the welcome this time and I also do not want to follow other new student events”. Lathan finally agreed though with the look of her face forced because she felt bad at

his teacher.

“Yes, I agree. You only need to give one welcome for the opening this time. For other events, I will no longer bother you”

After getting the deal, Lathan finally followed the teacher towards the field where the new students were gathered. All were seen whispering to each other with colleagues beside them until the atmosphere became boisterous.

“Preview everything. I'd like to introduce you to one of the outstanding students at this school to all of you here. He is the best student in our school and has been awarded several times about computer science and economics. Please Lathan”

The teacher immediately called Lathan forward after he introduced her.

“Good morning everyone. My name is Lathan Gavaril. I am now in 3rd grade at this school. I don't have many words to say here. But I hope you all can learn well and follow the rules of this school to pursue the ideals of the future. Thanks”.

Lathan didn't say much about what he wanted to say in his remarks. He spoke briefly and left the ceremonial field and walked towards the back garden. Lathan remains the same as it used to be and doesn't particularly like socializing. He prefers to read books or play laptop.

“Haah .. sucks!” lathan grumbled after she sat on one of the chairs in the school garden.

Without Lathan noticing, a student approached her and sat down next to her.

“Why have you complained so early in the morning? Shouldn't you be happy to be an idol again among new students this year? As before, you will be surrounded by girls with cheers wherever you are, the young man said with a teasing smile on his lips.

“I didn't ask you to come early to make fun of me. Have you completed the previously given task?”.

Land spoke in an indifferent manner to his companion

“Why? You want to cheat on me? I'm sorry, but I'm not as stupid as you think” the young man also responded to Lathan with a cold demeanor but with a thin smile on his lips.

“I didn't say you were stupid. Besides if you're stupid, where maybe you've always been my rival at this school” Lathan also spoke with a cold attitude to him

“Oh .. I thought you thought I was like that” the young man teased Lathan

“Stop joking. I heard your family's company is having problems. Is it very complicated?”

Lathan switched the conversation by asking about her friend's family. His name is Fandy Bagaskara. He was the second son of the Bagaskara family.

“No need to think about my family's company problems. It's the same thing that has nothing to do with you. After all, I don't want to get involved with them” Fandy responded in a cold and indifferent manner.

“You don't want to help recover your family's problems? Fan, if you want, I can help you” Lathan responded to Fandy with a calm demeanor.

“Than, I'm not friends with you because I want status or help from your family. You know for yourself how I am, right?”

Fandy squinted with a calm demeanor as he spoke

“You sure you don't want to help them?” ask Lathan to make sure.

“Yes, we don't need to get involved with them. Let this be an adult problem”

Fandy spoke with a faint smile on his lips. He and Lathan have personalities that are not much different, therefore they can be friends for a long time.

“Alright if it is your decision” Lathan does not say much anymore and respect the decision of his friend

“O yes, my brother will be here the day after tomorrow. You can accompany me to the airport to pick her up, right? He has decided to move to kita” school continued Fandy after remembering the tenets of his cousin.

“We will see later” said Lathan with an indifferent attitude
