"Why are there 2 people? Who's this girl?" ask the man who gave the order to kidnap Lathan.

"That's... The girl was trying to help this boy. We can't leave him out for fear that he will report to others, therefore we took him as well" the kidnapper's boss replied in a calm manner.

"Yes, it's up to you" said the man, who did not want to bother

"Then just finish them off and dump the bodies as far away as possible. I'll transfer the rest of the money after your work is done" the man said.

"You take it easy, sir. I will definitely take care of them both and your work will not be interrupted by them again". The kidnapper spoke with confidence.

"good. Then I'm leaving. Remember that! Don't leave a trace!"

"Ready, Sir! You don't have to worry!"

Lathan who pretended to sleep slightly opened her eyes as the two men turned around to leave the room.

"Him? So he's the mastermind? Now I know why they kidnapped me. They were afraid that their rot would be exposed even deeper". Lathan thought with a grin on her lips. Lathan looked at Zara.

"Ra, hangin. We'll be home soon. You wait here!". Lathan spoke softly to Zara who was now lying down just like when her bond had not been removed. She stroked Zara's long hair attentively.

"Ehm... " Zara responded with a slow head nod.

Lathan began to stand up and slowly walked towards the door of the room. He slightly peeked out from between the opened doors and observed the situation.

"There are 5 people. I have to catch it quickly! There is no time to wait until the papi comes. Zara could be in danger later" Lathan murmured as she continued to watch. He turned back to Zara with a worried look.

Lathan watched the kidnappers and she looked around to find something to use as a weapon. The choice was on a wooden chair that had been broken. Lathan walked quietly carefully closer to the chair then picked up one of the woods.

"I can use this against them" muttered Lathan who had been holding the wood in her hand.

"What are we doing with those two kids?" ask one of the kidnappers who is outside the room.

"We'll hold them until tomorrow. Once we get word that the ransom is ready, then we'll finish them off and hand the bodies over to their families". The kidnapper's boss explains the details of the plan to his men that they will do to Lathan and Zara. His colleagues just nodded their heads in agreement with their boss's plan.

"You're so sure you'll get the ransom from my papa tomorrow!". The five kidnappers turned their heads as they heard Lathan's voice behind them.

Lathan looked calm with the wood she had cupped on her shoulders.

"You? How can you escape?!" ask the kidnapper boss with a surprised face.

"It's not hard to break that bond" Lathan said with a faint smile on her lips and an indifferent attitude.

"I'll give you 1 chance to stay alive, as long as you say who asked you to do this job!" connect Lathan while pointing one finger at the men in front of her.

"Speak a lot! Hit him!"

The kidnappers started beating Lathan one by one. They tried to hit Lathan in the face and stomach, even trying to kick Lathan many times, but Lathan always managed to fend off their attacks and fight back.

Without Lathan realizing it, one of the kidnappers broke into Zara's room while she was busy fighting back.

"Stop or this girl will get hurt!". Lathan immediately stopped and turned towards the voice. He is shocked to see a limp Zara in the hands of one of the kidnappers with a knife in her neck.

"Shut up!".

"Ah... ". Zara's neck was slightly scratched by a knife to bleed and it made Lathan emotional.

Lathan looked extremely angry with eyes filled with emotion. He kept quiet and looked for a gap. Upon seeing the crack, Lathan immediately threw the wood at the feet of the kidnapper holding Zara.

"... !!".

Lathan who was surrounded by 4 other kidnappers immediately beat them without mercy. And Zara manages to escape when the kidnapper who held her hostage is in pain. He grabbed the wood lying down and hit his captors in a row despite his increasingly frail body.

"Aw! Forgive me! Stopit! Forgive me! Stop that!" shouted the kidnapper who was beaten by Zara.

A moment after Zara stopped, her head suddenly turned back dizzy. His body was not powered, his legs were limp, and Zara lost her balance.

Lathan who heard the sound of a fall instantly turned around and was surprised to see Zara. He immediately ran over to the heart.

"Ra! Ra, wake up Ra!". Lathan raised Zara's head in her arms and gently lashed her cheeks. At that time one of the kidnappers who had been sprawled suddenly woke up again and was about to hit the back of the head, but …

"Achh!!!". The kidnapper shouted, Lathan turned to hear a scream. He looked at the man who fell behind him with a chest gunshot wound and turned to look for the source of the shot.

"Fire!", cried Lathan who saw the father who saved him.

"Lathan, are you okay, son?" radit asked as he approached the son with a worried look.

"I'm fine, Pih. But my friend .. his fever is getting higher. He should be taken to the hospital immediately!". Lathan answered frantically while hugging Zara who was on her lap.

"Yes already. You take him to the hospital. Let Papi do the rest here" Radit said in a calm manner.

"Good, Pih. Get the car keys!".Lathan asked for a car key with one of the bodyguards.

"I go first, Pih" he continued, holding Zara in his lap.

"Yes, be careful" Radit said as he stared at Lathan's back.

"O yes, Pih. Don't give them to the police. We need to get information from them!". Lathan who had stepped foot suddenly stopped and advised Radit.

For a moment Radit looked at the astonished face of the child, but he finally agreed.

"Yes, okay". Lathan stepped back after getting an answer from her father.

"Then we bring them! Find something that can be used as evidence. We can't just let them go" Radit gave his guard a cue after Lathan left the barn.

"Good, Sir!". Radit's bodyguards responded in unison and began moving battered and wounded kidnappers to be moved elsewhere.

"I don't know what's going on. But it looks like Lathan knows something" Radit muttered looking at the kidnappers' faces.

Meanwhile, Lathan was driving at full speed. He continued to drive towards the nearest hospital while occasionally staring at the face of Zara who was next to him.

"Ra, hold on Ra. I can't imagine anything happening to you. Please hold on!", Lathan said in a soft voice as she stroked Zara's cheek which was currently unconscious.
