Daru smiled at the jury. The judges sat back in the seats provided.
"All right, let's go ahead and introduce the ten best nominees tonight! Cheekidot!"
Daru again invited the big screen to take over. The big screen even began to mention the names of the best nominated bands tonight.
"THE TOP TEN NOMINATIONS FOR JAPANESE CAMPUS BAND MUSIC FESTIVAL. NUMBER ONE'S..."
The big screen then mentions the short data of the band personnel from the top to the eighth.
"NUMBER NINE'S…"
The big screen shows the cover of Nara's band. They were standing while staring at the camera that was slightly overhead. Wearing a typical costume of his band, in the form of a white T-shirt with black scales, jeans and sports shoes that are also black.
There was Cherry standing while staring intently at the camera. And Nara is holding her guitar. While behind Nara there is Sai with a sharp expression while putting his hands into his pants pocket. And Ken holding his drumstick formed an X in front of his chest.
"B ... JUSTICE ...!"
The crowd shouted at the ninth nomination.
"THE BAND THAT WAS ESTABLISHED ONE YEAR AGO WAS FRONTED BY KEN ZAIN WHO HELD THE POSITION OF DRUMMER. THIS FAMOUS THIRD SEMESTER STUDENT WHO IS QUIET AND STAY COOL WILL TRY A TOOTH SHOW TO MAKE THE NAME OF THE CAMPUS WORSE."
The big screen then shows Ken's profile picture. Welcomed the hysterical cries of Ken's supporters.
"NARA SHIMURA."
"Nara! You can do it!" kazuo shouted from below the stage among the thousands of other spectators.
The big screen then shows Nara's profile photo.
"CHERRY HOSHI." The big screen shows Cherry's profile photo.
"Cherry!!!" shouted the students of the campus.
"THE JUTEK-FACED FRIENDLY GIRL HOLDS A POSITION AS A VOCAL IN HER BAND. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IF HE WAS A MUSIC ARTICLE WRITER WHO DOUBTED AS BASSIST D'JUSTICE."
"SAD." The big screen shows Sai's profile photo.
"Darling! You can do it!"
A loud shout sounded from a two-braided girl. It was Hima, Sai's lover who came to give his support. That girl looks so excited tonight.
"THIS GLASSES YOUNG MAN HOLDS A POSITION AS A KEYBOARDIST, AND HAS WON THE CITY-LEVEL PIANO CHAMPION IN HIS JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL YEARS.
LET'S WELCOME TOGETHER, HERE'S ... D. .. JUSTICE!"
The sound of shouting echoed in the building made by Sony Music Entertainment Japan as the four members of the band D'Justice took to the stage. A combined hundred students and students from the University of Tokyo, the four-member campus band chanted their encouraging yells. There was a smile of happiness implied on the faces of the four members of the band D'Justice.
Thank you guys. Nara had to see the small flag of the campus fluttering.
They then stand parallel on stage with the rest of the band. While the big screen continued to introduce the band's profile all the way to the final nominations.
Cherry is not the only female band member to make it into the top ten. There are still two other female personnel who qualify until the final round. But it seems, Cherry fame outperformed other female band members.
"Cherry! Cherry! Cherry!" The University of Tokyo student shouted Cherry's name repeatedly.
