He's Not Dead

He's Not Dead
Waiters ....

I blinked my eyes, and I woke up from sleep. She also slept in a special bed for the patient. No way Davina's whereabouts in this room, it's good that she's worried about Mama because I keep interacting with her.

It's almost midnight but Papa hasn't come yet. I was worried because Mama looked scared, with the disturbance I was having. In the hospital, the appearance of invisible creatures looks more and more strange.

Crick.

I turned towards the door that was slowly opening, probably because of the wind.

“Davina.”

I thought it was Davina who came but was silent. Instead of staring at the door, I want to turn on the television. My hand tried to grab the remote that was placed on top of the bed cabinet. From the end of my eyes I could see that there was something at the door.

I finally looked and ….

“Baaaa.” A head turned towards me with a laughing face.

I just sighed softly, not surprised and there was no fear. I thought he was a real human being but when he straightened his head I rubbed both of his eyes hoping that what I saw was wrong. The head was floating without a body, just the head.

“Aaaaa.” I screamed and the head fell silent and shouted.

As a result my screams and head shouts were like racing.

“Arka, why Nak?” My mother was beside me, shaking my body.

My body trembled while pointing in the direction where the head was hovering. My mom looked up, of course she couldn't see what I was seeing.

“Arka, do you see what baby?” Mama didn't seem to be just afraid that something was going on with me but she was scared because she realized there was something in this room.

“Mah, Papa why haven't you come?” let me take my eyes off the head that is still floating.

Honestly I was still scared half alive to see the appearance of a disembodied head, let alone from the veins and skin remaining still visible droplets of blood but the blood dripping was not on the floor.

“Mama contact first.”

I myself muttered chanting a prayer while Mama contacted Papa who turned out to be inactive.

“Not active, it looks like it's still on the plane or it's still at the airport. You're patient, baby.”

The sighting made me uncomfortable. With my mouth still muttering prayers I closed my eyes, while Mama still rubbed my hands trying to calm down.

In conditions like this it feels like things, I feel like I want to urinate even nausea like I want to remove my stomach contents. Feeling a touch on the forehead, Mama rubbed the sweat on my forehead.

“Mah, don't go yes. I'm afraid,” I said still with my eyes closed.

No answer, just silence.

“Mah.”

Still quiet.

“Mama, don't joke,”.

“Who is joking, hihihihi,” sounds screeches from beside me so clearly and makes the body goosebumps. “Arka, open your eyes.”

I know she's not human and not Mama. Instead of opening my eyes, I chose to continue muttering prayers even though my body was trembling.

“Why you?”

Deg.

My heart stopped beating hearing that voice, Davina. I slowly opened my eyes, no more head sightings and I turned my head. Davina was already sitting on the chair beside the bed.

I breathed a sigh of relief and sat down and saw that Mama was still asleep.

So it wasn't Mama, then who?

“Why you? It looks like you have seen a ghost,” said Davina who has moved to sit in bed with both legs swinging while looking at me.

“I did see a ghost, you ghost.”

“Ck, where might see me until frightened so. It must be scary,” Davina said.

“Surge.”

Davina was still looking at me who was lying down. Other than the head sighting, who was sitting next to me even snickered with that creepy voice. Davina is impossible, the energy I felt when other beings came in with Davina's energy was very different.

“Om handsome has not come again huh?” davina's asking makes me even more upset. “Papa you have not arrived yet?”

“Go away, don't interfere in my affairs.”

How not to understand, Davina said I meddled in her affairs. While he suddenly approached me and did not want to leave until this moment.

“Nobody sees me and can interact with me but you can. So you've been interfering in my business. I'll come with you until I get clarity on who I am and where I should go,” Davina said humming as she shook her body.

I just breathe slowly. Not lost my business with the creatures that often interfere, this time I was also bullied by Davina. Although he is not creepy but still he is a ghost.

“Davina.”

Not answering, Davina was still humming.

“Davina.”

“Hm.”

“I saw the head drift,” said I who immediately made Davina shift her seat closer and made me shift.

“You anything at all?”

“Head floated, you've seen it?”

“Iya, before you came.”

Davina chuckles to make me even more upset. How could a ghost even laugh at me.

“So, you were scared because you saw your head drift?”

I just kept quiet to hear Davina's question.

“He's a new ghost, victim of a back-to-back accident this morning. Fast too yes, he can already scare humans.”

“Accident this morning? The bus I was riding on was also a collision streak not far from here,”. “Then why did he show himself?”

Davina pressed her shoulders.

“Yura, Archa.”

I looked at Papa who came.

“Papa,” call me.

“You okay? How did the doctor say? Which part still hurts?”

I couldn't answer Papa's question, then pointed to Mama who was still asleep.

“Pah, I want to go home. Here creepy, many who show themselves,” lamented me.

“There's papa here, relax. We wait for the doctor's decision, tomorrow yes.”

I looked left and right, not seeing Davina. Where the hell's he going? Ever since I was curious about the presence of Papa.

“Sleep, let Papa take care of you.” Papa took off his suit and put the bag he was carrying on the sofa and walked up to my bed, watching the infusion liquid confirm the drops.

...***...

The infusion needle in my hand was removed. Papa was listening to the explanation from the doctor while Mama was cleaning my equipment. I seem to be able to go home, of course I'm happy than here but constantly getting interference, I better take a trip.

But something is strange. Since last night, when Papa came I have not seen Davina even until now after lunch she has not appeared.

“What has he gone?” muttered.

“You can go home,” Papa said. “Nothing serious from the results of the examination but if there are any more complaints we should immediately consult.”

“Mama is already in doubt and does not allow you to leave, yesterday.”

“Already, this is calamity,” said Papa while rubbing Mama's shoulder.

“Ayo,” invite Mama.

“Wait Pah, Mah.”

Papa and Mama were waiting for me after interrupting and stopping them.

“Today I saw the figure of a girl, it seemed to be the same age as me. He doesn't want to go and continues to be here, but after Papa comes he doesn't look.”

Papa looked around the room, seemingly not feeling the energy from Davina as much as I did.

“Already, maybe it is the waiter here.”
