Chapter 02: A Desire

The man wakes up with a body full of bandages, while he groans in pain Elizabeth puts food on the table.

"You've been conscious, you've been unconscious for three days."

"So, I'm really grateful for saving me."

"I want to get you out of this house quickly but I think you need enough time to recuperate."

"Sorry troublesome, then what's Miss' name?"

"Elizabeth Highwel is my name."

The man in an instant knew that the girl who had saved him had a bad nature, he did not mind being needed like that after all helping a stranger just like that was quite surprising for a girl to do.

He introduced himself as Leonardo and worked as a knight, he did not say anymore about why he was there and was found like that, it was almost suspicious for Elizabeth but he chose to ignore it.

"As a knight I would like to thank you for saving me properly, if there is one request I will grant it as long as it is within my means."

Elizabeth glanced at the sword placed in the corner of the room.

"Please teach me the sword technique that can kill a dragon."

Hearing that Leonardo was wide-eyed in surprise, he felt his wounds would open again if he forced himself to move.

"I don't have that technique, but if I'm sword-wielding to keep myself from monsters or bad guys I think I can do it, it doesn't matter."

"Please teach me."

"After my condition improves I will teach you soon."

"I understand, then please eat."

When Leonardo ate Elizabeth's homemade food his face paled and he was a little nauseous.

That's definitely not delicious.

"I'd better cook I'm not good for hitching a ride here anyway I'm pretty good at cooking too."

"Alright if you say that."

For the first time Elizabeth was able to enjoy a nice dinner usually.

Leonardo needs three days to recover despite not being in the stage he can fight at least he can train Elizabeth to improve his physique.

"Now take off your clothes and just wear underwear."

Elizabeth makes sure that Leonardo has entered the house, she takes off her canal dress and leaves only simple underwear for her.

The mountain area had a piercing chill as if your bones were screaming simultaneously, Elizabeth's mouth was starting to run.
