I Love You, Mr. THE CEO!

I Love You, Mr. THE CEO!
I'll Change Better

"I used to be very close to Niel, and we even slept in the room until she was in high school." Bara glared while not being able to hug Kyra who was now in the same bed with her.

Kyra looked up to watch over her husband. "How many years is your age gap and Brother Niel?"

Bara took a quick look. "Five years," he said as he tightened his embrace on the tiny body of his wife. "We started a long way back when Niel was studying abroad. He left when I was devastated after hearing Elena's words."

Kyra's turn to embrace Bara is getting tighter. She just wanted to share her strength so that her husband would know that she was not alone.

"After Niel went to college, Edy came. With Edy, I found a brother who was different in his perspective and association. Edy, who was used to living in America since childhood, started teaching me how to live there. We grew up together, got everything in equal portions."

Bara was silent for a moment, from the look of his empty eyes, Kyra could understand how deeply Bara was hurt by the actions of Edy who could take a lover who almost became his wife.

"Until he finally assumed everything I had, was his too" Bara continued with a forced smile.

"But me and this baby are just yours, Bara." Kyra tightened her arms until the man felt warm and comfortable. "We're just yours."

Bara nodded and looked at Kyra's brown neutral. "Yes  ... You're all I have right now."

"May I ask you one more thing?"

"of course. Let alone one, hundred questions I will answer!" goda Bara chuckled.

"Why did you pretend you didn't know Daniel? What is the real problem with your family? I heard rumors from office friends, said Kak Niel a widower, is that right?"

"Your question is three, not one," Bara told Kyra, who pinched her arm.

"Jawab why, anyway! You're so happy to tease me!" kyra Sudang.

"Niel is a widower. She left the mansion preferring to live with her lover whom she eventually married and later died of leukemia."

Kyra's eyeballs popped. "really? It's very Cassian, Brother Niel."

"Dad disapproves of their relationship because the girl Daniel married is a poor, sickly girl. I don't know when I didn't think about my brother's decision, but now I understand why he was willing to leave the mansion for the sake of women" Bara explained with a serious face.

Hearing that explanation, Kyra immediately remembered Elena's words when Bara had prostrated in front of her parents just to ask for blessing.

"Even someone who is willing to commit and set aside his ego, huh?" sindir Kyra chuckles.

Bara glared, he looked at Kyra full of probing. "Did Elena tell you that? Basic cute!"

"Hey, watch what you say. Your baby can hear all your words and swearing, you know!" sumpul Kyra was upset.

"Ups, yes." Bara's burly hand extended slowly to his wife's stomach. "I'm sorry, Baby. Daddy. Remember, don't put the word Daddy just now in your dictionary, okay?"

The late night does not make Bara and Kyra stop telling stories about their past. Kyra occasionally laughs when Bara's silliness makes her anxious. Even when Bara told her about her longing for the late mother who she could never remember her face, Kyra would hug her husband just to share her strength. Kyra understands what it feels like because she herself does not have a mother figure in her life.

"I'm going to learn to change for you and our baby. It may not change drastically but I promise I will do it slowly. During that process, I hope that you will always be by my side and support me." Bara clasped Kyra's tiny hand as she said her promise. "I also promise to open my heart, I don't know what I'm feeling right now is love or not, but I definitely don't want to lose you, Kyra."

Kyra was stifled to hear that heart-shaking sentence, she only responded with a smile.

"You promise to open your heart. So that when our children are born, we're both convinced that we love each other."
