Meet the Father-in-Law

[Nobody can replace Bara's position as long as Daddy doesn't give up his share of the stock to Edy.]

Kyra stared at her phone screen sadly. Bara had left for the office an hour ago, and now he was sitting at the dinner table alone. There should be a cooking lesson schedule today, but somehow Kyra is lazy to leave.

The message from Daniel made his mood even more chaotic after last night was ravaged by Bara. If Bara owns 30% of the shares, Daniel, Friz and Edy are 15% each, then no one should be able to threaten Bara's position as long as Daniel and Friz support him. But considering Friz and Bara's relationship has been strained since she got married, Kyra is doubtful if Friz is still defending her son.

"Daddy loves Edy very much and can never be strict with her."

Daniel's words returned to a crushing blow to Kyra's mind. He had to go to Friz and ask for his help. However, he had to make sure Friz was on Bara's side in case Edy was really reckless. It is impossible to tell Bara because it is tantamount to adding to the burden of his mind. "I already know everything about you," continued Friz still with his arrogant attitude.

Feeling the gripping aura was very real inside the room, Kyra lowered her head in fear.

"So just tell me, what's your purpose in meeting me?" ask Friz curiously.

"Do you love Bara very much?" Kyra ventured to look at Friz who was immediately stunned.

Silence, Friz did not answer. He just watched Kyra from head to toe. Although this appearance of his son-in-law was very much what it was, yet he had an aura that shone dazzlingly to the eyes.

"of course. Bara is my only flesh and blood" Friz replied after weighing his words.

"Then, when asked to choose between Bara and Edy, who would you choose?"

"What kind of stupid question is that!?" friz was surprised.

"What are you trying to say? What problems do I not know?" jolt Friz emotion.

"Edy's trying to monopolize the company's shares. He was willing to buy at a high price in order to have a lot of shares and dropped the Bara position. I know from Brother Niel, if you three have the same share."

"Then?" friz urged as Kyra stopped explaining her problem.

"If you and Brother Niel unite to support Bara, then Edy's efforts will be in vain. That's why I beg." Kyra got up, she got closer to Friz's chair and shed her body in front of her in-laws. "Please, save Bara, sir."

Kyra's plea inevitably left Friz stunned. Moreover, tears began to drip one by one from the two beautiful eyeballs. Friz threw away his face.

"I promise I'll do whatever you want to help Bara." Kyra cupped her hands together expectantly, staring at Friz with tears breaking.

Hearing of a golden opportunity, Friz watches over his innocent son-in-law again.

"whatever?" repeat with a scary grin.

Kyra nodded without the slightest hesitation. He will do whatever Bara does not depart from his position as CEO in the company.

"alright. I'll help Bara on one condition." Friz folds one leg with his arms crossed. "Leave Bara. Then I'll make sure he stays CEO until I die."

Kyra's tears grew unstoppable hearing the compensation she had to do. He looked down because he could not hold the burden on his head that felt increasingly dizzying.

"I will think of the best way that Bara hates you naturally. If you agree, call me tonight at this number." Friz throws his business card in front of Kyra quickly.

With trembling hands, Kyra grabbed the small paper.

"There will always be a sacrifice for love, not for love if you don't sacrifice for the happiness of one of you."

Daniel's words were again ringing in Kyra's ears.

"Good, Sir. I'll do whatever you ask."
