Chapter 45. Who're You?

"Where are we going, Sire?" Ask Queen Roseline.

King Alec and Queen Roseline are currently walking down a passageway to somewhere.

"The Queen will know. In a minute, we'll be there." King Alec replied with a smile.

Soon, they arrived at a palace-like building that was smaller in size but looked very well maintained.

"This is the secret palace of my late father, and it is now my secret palace. Let's go in. Someone wants to see you." The King of Alec.

The guards opened the door for both. Queen Roseline remained silent and followed in King Alec's footsteps. They entered a room in which Marquess Filan, Marquess Andry, physician Ma and a middle-aged man of Duke Sullivan's age were lying on the bed, Mr. Ronaf.

"Welcome, Your Majesty the King and Queen." Greet them.

"Queen? Is the Queen here?" Ask Mr. Ronaf.

"Right Mr. Ronaf, Queen Roseline is here." Answer Marquess Filan.

King Alec signaled for Queen Roseline to come closer to Mr. Ronaf's bed. Queen Roseline looks confused.

"Her Majesty the Queen, he is Lord Ronaf, His Majesty's uncle who has been missing all this time." The light of physician Ma.

Queen Roseline immediately changed her expression and sat on the edge of the bed.

"How's Uncle Ronaf doing?" Greet Queen Roseline. "Where's the uncle been going all this time? We're so worried about you."

"I'm sorry Uncle, Seline. Because it makes you anxious." Said Mr. Ronaf.

King Alec signaled to Marquess Filan, Marquess Andry and Physician Ma to come out.

"I'll leave you two to let go of the miss. If you need anything, you can call me. I'll wait outside." King Alec said to Queen Roseline.

"good Sire. Thank you." Thank you." Queen Roseline replied while forcing her smile.

After King Alec came out and closed the door, Queen Roseline immediately moved to a chair not far from the bed.

"Who are you really?" Ask Mr. Ronaf coldly.

Queen Roseline scratched her forehead.

"I know if that body is the body of Queen Roseline, but not with her soul. We're just the two of us, so you don't have to make a show."

Queen Roseline poked her lips. "How do you know I'm not the real Queen of Roseline?"

"I've known my niece since she was a baby. And I'm his personal doctor. From the look in your eyes it's been seen that you're different people." Answer Mr. Ronaf. "Who are you?"

"My name is Alicia Alexandria Quinn. I come from another world, whether it's the future or something. Because my world is much more modern than the world here. And why would I be here? I don't know either. Last I remember, I read a novel about a weak Queen named Roseline Cardania. And all of a sudden I'm right here, inside Queen Roseline's body." Queen Roseline (Alice).

"That's impossible." Said Mr. Ronaf.

"Very impossible. But in reality it is like that."

"Queen Roseline's soul was already out of her body, by the time I entered. This body was already dying from the ferocious poison that had spread throughout the body. Luckily I was still able to move quickly to make the antidote, so that I could save this body and have all the memories of Queen Roseline before she left." Queen Roseline.

Mr. Ronaf can't hold back his tears anymore.

"It's all my fault. If I hadn't been kidnapped, I would have made the antidote and Roseline's life saved." Said Mr. Ronaf, sobbing.

Queen Roseline fell silent without saying anything. Silence enveloped the room. Not long after, Mr. Ronaf wiped away his tears.

"Did you know? Who kidnapped you then?" Ask Queen Roseline.

"I don't know. But I'm sure they must have been men who had put poison into His Majesty's drink." Answer Mr. Ronaf.

"Then, what are you doing with Roseline's body?" Ask Mr. Ronaf.

Queen Roseline sighed.

"W-are you planning on telling the truth to His Majesty and everyone?"

Queen Roseline nodded.

"Do you know what risks you'll have to take later?"

"I knew. I will get hatred from His Majesty, Duke Sullivan, Duke Ramon and everyone who loves Queen Roseline. Maybe His Majesty will give me the death penalty." Queen Roseline replied with a smile.

"Are you sure you can accept all that?"

"I can accept their hatred, but I cannot accept the punishment they will give me. It's not my fault if I go in and occupy Queen Roseline's body. I will leave this kingdom and live according to what I want. And I hope someday I can return to my world."

Mr. Ronaf was silent.

"Mister Ronaf should rest now. And we'll continue this conversation once Mr.'s condition improves. Something is stirring my mind. Of the many memories that Queen Roseline has cherished, why is there not a single memory of you, Mr Ronaf?" Queen Roseline.

Mr. Ronaf nodded in agreement.

King Alec accompanies Queen Roseline to deliver medicine to Queen Cetta. For three days, Queen Cetta was on medication and taking Queen Roseline's medication. His face that had always looked pale, gradually improved. Queen Cetta looks much healthier and fresher. The kings and queens of the Brilliant Kingdom, Donga, Brigita, and Lord Franco have returned to their respective kingdoms.

Before leaving, the King of Seville briefly met Queen Roseline and asked the Queen to come with him. Queen Roseline refused. The King of Seville finally left feeling disappointed, yet he would not give up. As long as King Alec has not been able to make Queen Roseline happy, King Seville will continue to try to take the heart of Queen Roseline.

"Why did the Queen bother to deliver the medicine to Queen Cetta's room directly? The queen can get the waiter to deliver her." King Alec asked as the two were at the queen's palace.

"I just want to make sure that Queen Cetta takes her medicine without interruption. Besides, I'm glad I got to talk to Queen Cetta." Answer Queen Roseline.

King Alec took a deep breath and threw it away slowly. "Is there anyone the Queen suspects?"

"There is, but I still don't know for sure who it is." Queen Roseline answered and sipped her warm tea.

"Baginda King and Queen." Sapa Marquess Filan's.

"There is, Filan? Is there anything important?" Ask King Alec.

"We have a guest from the Sun Kingdom, Your Majesty. Mrs Imelda and Miss Camila came to visit. She is the mother and sister of Queen Cetta. Lady Xena, a cousin of King Abraham, came with them." Report Marquess Filan.

"His beloved granddaughter also arrived." Queen Roseline muttered with a grin.
