Part 10 'Meet

I almost regretted wasting you.

Hearing the statement of the boss and his best friend made Josep speechless, he recalled that when he was in college, Alden had told me about the girl he liked since the time of High School. Is that woman Haura?

"I can finally find him." Alden was silent for a moment. Then he walked to his desk. "After seven years of my search, and when I found her-her husband was wasting himself," the CEO added, looking blankly forward.

"You're spying on Haura?" Josep's tongue was immediately confused to hear the confession of his best friend.

"Since my first meeting back with him, I deliberately followed him. Even I saved him when he wanted to end his life."

"Has she divorced?" Josep asked Alden a question again. Followed by a slow nod from the man, agreeing with the speech of his best friend.

"He's divorced for being barren." The sad face was clearly visible on Alden's face when he told him about Haura.

"Why didn't you tell me? I'll help you."

Alden took a deep breath. "I thought it was a personal matter so I shouldn't mix personal matters with work matters."

Josep breathed for a few seconds, looking at his best friend with a guilty look - for being insensitive. Even this afternoon he treated Haura as if she was a fraud, when clearly she was the woman his best friend had been looking for all this time.

"I was disappointed when I found out that Haura had a husband, but that all went away when I found out he was playing Haura's heart. And now I swear I'll make her happy in my own way" Alden said. But it really looks empty.

As Josep walked closer to Alden, he gently patted his best friend on the shoulder. "You are my boss and my best friend. Whatever you do. I'll support you."

Haura chose to delay the return of Alden's apartment. He might be able to stay a few days in that apartment before he actually returns it.

Armed with cash given by his boss. Haura chose to shop at the supermarket to buy her personal needs. He glanced at the black watch attached to his wrist. Time shows at seven o'clock. He was convinced that Theo had come home at this hour, and he decided to go to the shopping center that was integrated with his apartment.

The woman actually walked there, and with a fairly hesitant step, but inevitably she had to fill the freezer with some food stock, she said, even Alden's kitchen looks clean with no edible ingredients. There is only a lot of mineral water that meets the contents of the refrigerator.

Haura started to pick up the trolley and walked slowly gracefully. The milky white heels that adorned her feet made Haura more confident. Haura was picky about what materials she would buy to survive these few days.

Meanwhile from a distance a man stared nyalang towards Haura. The man recognized the woman he had lived with for three years. Haura seems to change from a slum woman stinks of the kitchen, into a beautiful and charming goose. Of course the man would approach Haura to ascertain if she was really his ex-wife.

"Hallo Miss, how can I help you?" his tananya greeted Haura who was busy choosing vegetables in the supermarket chiller section.

Haura's steps suddenly came to a halt and as if completely frozen. He recognized the voice, carefully looking towards the source of the sound. He was completely shocked to find that Theo was already standing behind him staring with a grinning smile.

"Geez!" Haura was stunned, she did not believe she would meet her ex-husband here.

The man scanned Haura's extraordinarily beautiful body, even this woman before him was twice as charming as the first time they met for the first time. Susana was silent for a moment—tak long Theo clapped his hands while shaking his head slowly.

"My ex-wife has changed, I can barely recognize her" he said in a slow tone but was able to provoke Haura who was still silent.

Theo sharpens his sense of smell while snorting at his ex-wife to feel the scent of perfume that sticks to Haura's skin "Even you no longer smell the kitchen, you really are a woman who is reborn."

"Oh.. can't! I have to interview you first" he replied in a scornful tone.

Haura's eyes changed, the feeling was actually still there. But covered with so much hate that really can not be covered up.

"What do you want, 'ha?!" Haura immediately rushed away from this man before her. But with a single ambush—Theo can spread Haura's wrists easily. The man gripped her firmly, so that the woman could not leave. "What do you want?!" hardik Haura once again.

"I just want to have a good talk with you" he replied casually.

"Anything right?" Haura chuckled, but a few seconds later her expression turned furious. "You dumped me and took my mother's money, and now you wish we had a good talk?!"

"Yes.why not."

"Take me off! Or I'll scream if you're the bad guy who's gonna tease me!"

Hearing Haura's words, Theo unwillingly let go of his ex-wife, and let her go.
