Are you feeling sorry for me? Or is there another feeling created for me?
~•~
Haura got out of the car, as Alden was getting into his own car, the woman ran towards her boss's car which was about to walk away from him. Seeing Haura getting out of the car, Alden stopped the luxury vehicle, and then he opened the glass, to ask Haura.
"What's wrong? Why did you even come out? Is my order not firm enough for you?!" alden's snort scanned Haura's face, which was twisting her fingers in nervousness.
"No, Boss. But my car broke down," replied Haura doubtfully.
Alden took a deep breath, with a feeling of laziness, and of course an unpleasant expression he asked Haura to come inside his car.
"Lake in!"
"But, Bo—"
"Lake in!" cut off the man again, asserting that Haura did not return to answer his words.
Haura complied, and walked towards the back door about to open it. But with a raised voice Alden prevented Haura.
"You think I'm your driver?!" snapped it.
Haura was silent, before long she understood and walked around towards the front door of the car, Haura seemed awkward sitting next to her boss. He was already wearing sleeping pajamas this time, and he had already wiped off the makeup on his face.
Alden flinch, then drive his car to an apartment that is predicted to be a luxury residence for the public figure. Seeing that Haura gulped could not say anything. What will this man do to her? Will he have any ill intentions on Haura? The woman ventured a glance towards her handsome boss, the man looked calm and like nothing had happened.
Sure enough, Alden took his black sedan to the basement of the luxury apartment that blends with the shopping center where Theo works. Haura herself had never set foot in this place. But now with Alden he's here, and doesn't know what this guy's gonna do.
Alden got out of the car, and slammed the door a little hard, then walked away from his car. However, his steps came to a halt when Haura was still silent inside there, with the cold face of the man walking towards Haura who was still circulating his gaze in all directions.
"Hello... What are you thinking?" Suddenly Alden appeared next to Haura's glass and tapped from outside. Haura gasped, reflexively looking towards her boss who was already outside. Haura immediately got out of the car, with her eyes constantly looking in all directions.
"Boss, why did you bring me here?" Haura ventured to ask her boss who started walking.
"You'll understand when you get to the top!" reply the man passed.
Haura had no choice but to follow her boss's steps away to where the man wanted to be.

Inside the elevator Haura tried to melt the atmosphere by opening up a conversation between herself and her cold-looking boss.
"Boss, why didn't Mr. Josep drive you home?" asked Haura, because she thought like in a television drama, the secretary would take her boss home.
Alden turned his head, his gaze so cold as if it was able to make Haura's body freeze like ice.
"You think I'm an elementary school kid, who needs to be delivered home and away?!"
Haura immediately pursed her lips and chose silence due to Alden's extremely unpleasant response to her. Haura knew that she was indeed unworthy to ask this perfect master before her.
Finally they reached the thirty floor in the apartment. Alden walked slowly and stopped right at the unit with the number 307 which had a large door of shiny wood brown. To open the big door, Alden just simply stick his fingerprints toward an object that is like an automatic key. Before long the sound of 'BIP' was heard in Haura's ears, and the door was opened.
Alden walked in followed by Haura who was tailing back. Alden turned on the lights one by one, the situation that was previously pitch dark now seemed bright.
"Don't...." Momentary silence. "I'll leave this place to you. Stay all you want," Alden added later, the man walked up to the balcony and stared at the night view of the city of Tadpole adorned with lights.
Haura could hardly believe hearing Alden's words, how could this man be so kind to her. This afternoon he gave him a surprise, by giving himself the black card he had for shopping, and now he is giving this apartment away for free, the two have never known each other.
"Who are you?" Haura's voice almost shook as she asked the man a question.
Alden turned around, looking at Haura from afar. The man walked over as if hoping Haura would recognize him.
"You really don't recognize me?"
Haura shook her head slowly, she did feel familiar with the name of the man in front of her, but she had completely forgotten where she had heard it.
"Alden Walsh's... Forest Quebec High School," Alden said without hesitation.
Forest Quebec is one of the city's favorite schools, how did Alden know that Haura used to be there? Haura was getting confused. The woman looked to be frowning.
"Alden Walsh, a student who is always bullied for his geeky appearance, because he always wears thick glasses." Haura's explanation made the woman surprised, even to the point of leaving her speechless. He remembered the man, the man with oily hair, thick glasses, and always carrying a book. But, not this Alden—they're like two very different people.
"Are you—"
"Yes, you don't remember wrong. You always helped me when I was bullied. I remember you being such a popular and beautiful girl, and you're the only one who's always stood up for me" she replied.
Haura tucked the hair into the ear, she was really surprised, it was true that she used to always help Alden when he was bullied. Is this how he helped and returned Haura's kindness first?
"I'm sorry if I invaded your life. I also knew from the beginning that you had just been dumped by your husband. Our meeting at the shopping mall back then, when my employees forced you to buy our products, that's when I saw you for the first time in seven years after we didn't meet."
Haura recalls the incident, in which a handsome man saved her from a woman who forced her to buy their cussion.
"When I want to end my life?"
"Yes, I'm following you" he replied straightforwardly.
What kind of coincidence is this? How could this man do much for Haura and spy on her all this time. This was beyond Haura's mind.
"And it was a coincidence, when I found out you were applying for a job at my company."
"What do you mean?" Haura started to wonder.
"Forget over! I just want to repay your kindness in the past. Not that I put feelings on you!" cut Alden, dodge. "I'm going, and this is for you." Before leaving Alden handed Haura a white envelope.
"What is this for?" Haura refused to accept the thing.
"To connect your life!" His righteously placed the envelope on the table, and left just like that leaving Haura still confused.
