Part 12 'That Warm Hand Again

That warm hand again—he always saved me.

"Are you okay?" Alden saw Haura's hand reddened by the actions of Theo's grip earlier.

"I'm doing fine. You don't have to worry about me." Haura looked at her boss closely. How could this man save himself again. What's he doing in this place? Did he happen to be visiting here?

"Do you have any business here?"

Haura's question made Alden's tongue dull. He should not have appeared in front of this woman. However, when she found out Haura was in trouble, because of her ex-husband. That's what forced Alden to show himself.

"I live in the next apartment unit," he replied awkwardly, pointing towards the door next to Haura's apartment.

Haura was wide-eyed to hear the confession from this man before her. He gave his apartment to Haura, and he instead chose to rent one more apartment for himself to live in?

"I deliberately bought an apartment unit but the developer said that there was only one empty, which is next to where you live," Alden explained to the woman next to him. of course before he misunderstood Alden.

"But... I want to return this to you," Haura replied. His hand thrust an access card of his apartment at his boss.

Alden was offended by Haura's words. How could he put all the good Alden had given Haura, even wanting to return the apartment he had given away for free just so that this woman would not sleep on the street.

"That place is yours, I've given it, and I can't take it back. If you don't like it, you can sell it!" drugged Alden turned his body and left.

"Tap-" Before Haura finished her explanation, Alden closed the door of his apartment unit a little loudly, making Haura flinch and unable to do anything about it.

Theo was so messed up, he was so jealous seeing Haura already had a replacement for him. Even receiving a bitter pill if the man who was with Haura was not an indiscriminate man, like a man who possessed power.

The black sports car owned by Haura's ex-husband, which was purchased from the sale of Haura's late mother's house, went into the yard, the man was still silent in the car, his heart seemed to be slashed when he heard that the man was going to accept Haura as she was even though Haura was a barren woman. Unknowingly Theo hit the horn of his car to make a noise.

Alila immediately came out after hearing a noise outside her house, the woman saw her husband's car, and saw the man still inside there with a face that looked frustrated.

"Hey... What's wrong?" Alila walked over to Theo's car. However, the man was completely speechless and was seen refusing to comment anything. "What's wrong? Can't you listen to my speech?!" alila began to get emotional. But the man who had only been married for three months was silent, as if his mouth was completely locked.

Theo walked into the house with an empty mind and a frenzy. He stared at the kitchen of his house, as a shadow of Haura appeared as if he was cooking dinner, as his ex-wife used to do when they were together. Theo's stomach was hungry, he glanced towards the dining table, but it was empty. As always, if his new wife doesn't cook for him. Alila was just beautiful outside, she just spent all day dressing up and lazing around.

"What are you doing all day?!" theo asked in a high tone, even his eyes reddened in anger.

Notifications from the bank went into Theo's phone. This day alone reports there are three times with a nominal that is not small.

"Are those useless things all you can do?!" Theo's eyes stare at his wife who seems to be without sin scattering his money.

"Yes, as you promised, you'd make me happy if I wanted to marry you!" reply the woman with a condescending tone to her husband.

"You are beautiful! But your heart really-" Theo's words choked, he didn't go on.

"My heart's why, 'ha?!"

Theo fell silent again, he began to regret, Haura always made sure she was full. Take care of everything, and now his new wife can't even cook for him.

"You started the calculation? If so, I regret marrying you!"

The sound of a sudden slap echoed in their house, Theo was really emotional hearing Alila's statement.

"You slapped me, Theo!"

"Yes, to silence your dirty mouth!" After slapping Alila, Theo went inside the room and slammed the door very hard.

Alila was crying because she felt the heat on her cheek, she kept holding onto Theo's slap, making her sit on the sofa. In his heart asked why Theo did that to him, as he remembered this morning her husband's mood seemed fine, did Theo have any problems in his office so he was rude to Alila?

Haura was still confused by her boss's sudden attitude of being angry for no reason after hearing she was about to return her apartment.

Suddenly Haura's phone rang. There was an unknown number calling her. Haura shifted her smartphone screen and answered the call.

"Hello."

"It's me" replied the man at the end of his phone call. The voice is not foreign. Yeah, that's the boss's voice. "Tomorrow after returning from the office, let's meet. I'll talk to you about something" the man added, and then hung up on him without giving Haura a chance to say yes or no.
