Lu Xuan Cheng stopped stepping, he looked at the face of the woman in front of him. The face she had long missed.
"Are you okay? How you been doing all this time? Do you eat regularly?" Asked the man with a trembling voice.
"Why do you keep running away from me? Don't you know that I've been looking for you for 5 years? I think I'm going to go crazy right away because you're still on my mind!" Lu Xuan Cheng said with an annoyed face but filled with deep gratitude as he finally found the woman he had always longed for.
Su Li Xia's heart was somewhat withered after hearing all the questions that the man asked, he could feel the sincerity of every single word spoken by Lu Xuan Cheng.
But not with his mind still wary of the man before him, whom he thought was intending to take his life.
"Down An An and get out of here!" the woman orders with a cold face and tone.
"Haiz... My stubborn mommy! It's hard to persuade." An An An thought while exhaling a long breath.
"Su Li Xia, how much do you hate me for? You left without news and took our son away from me. Do you know what I've been through for 5 years? You really...!"
Lu Xuan Cheng looked at Su Li Xia with a gaze full of fury and disappointment emanating from the look in his eyes. His voice was disjointed, and he tried hard to hold back his emotions. He took a deep breath before continuing his words.
"You really make me feel ignored and betrayed. I never thought that you would run away while you were pregnant with our child!"
"Our son? An An is my son! Just my son, not us!" refute Su Li Xia with a flat tone.
Su Li Xia looked at Lu Xuan Cheng with an unmoved cold face, as if unaffected by Lu Xuan Cheng's emotions and words. His voice remained calm as he answered the question from the man.
"My hatred for you is as great as your feelings for me when you tell someone to kill me. And before you blame me, think first whether you've been doing everything right and well all this time." He continued to reveal his heart to Lu Xuan Cheng.
Lu Xuan Cheng was shocked and in disbelief at what he had just heard from Su Li Xia. He felt like he was being pierced by those words. The man paused for a moment before finally trying to explain to the woman before him.
"I never meant to hurt or kill you. I'm just trying to protect you and our child from the threatening danger." Lu Xuan Cheng replied in a stammered voice.
"I don't need an explanation from you! You're the one who made us walk away from your side. Lu Xuan Cheng, five years ago, you had made a huge mistake. So you must take responsibility for your actions and accept all retaliation from me!" asserted Su Li Xia with a cold voice.
"What do you mean? I don't understand, what mistake have I made?" Lu Xuan Cheng asked in an increasingly higher voice.
Lu Xuan Cheng was perplexed and did not understand what had happened before and after Su Li Xia's departure. He felt that he had never done anything bad or harmful to Su Li Xia and An An. He did not even know what to take responsibility for, which Su Li Xia had accused him of.
However, Su Li Xia still looked at him coldly and did not answer his question clearly. Lu Xuan Cheng felt even more frustrated and fearful. Afraid of losing the child as well as the woman currently standing before him.
Lu Xuan Cheng tried to take a deep breath to calm down. He felt that he had to find out what happened and had to apologize if he had made a mistake.
"Su Li Xia!" call him in a desperate tone.
Su Li Xia lowered the long rifle that was in his hand. He felt tired of all the useless quarrels with the man who was already his past.
While Lu Xuan Cheng was still hoping that the woman would return to his life.
"Can you give me a chance? I really don't know what I did wrong. But, if you are willing to give me a chance once more, I will prove to you that I have absolutely no intention of harming you both. Never in the past, and never forever." Said Lu Xuan Cheng with a face that was clear.
An An glanced at her Mommy face which currently looked terrible, she had never once seen the expression of her Mommy face like this.
"O-ow... I think I made a big mistake!" inner An An.
"Dorrr!"
The sound of gunfire rang out from behind Lu Xuan Cheng.
