S2 Episode 34's
The bullet shot rapidly towards Su Li Xia. Without a second thought, Lu Xuan Cheng immediately jumped onto Su Li Xia's body and blocked the bullet that was crashing towards him.
Su Li Xia was aghast, he got up and hugged Lu Xuan Cheng's body which was shot in the back.
"You okay? Hang on, I'll take you to the hospital!" su Li Xia said with a trembling voice and an anxious face.
George turned back, he shot the man who injured his Young Master's back. The man fell down immediately after a bullet pierced his right eye. George immediately rushed inside to check on Lu Xuan Cheng's situation.
"Ha... Haha...!"
Lu Xuan Cheng's laughing voice rang out throughout the room, he felt happy and happy because on Su Li Xia's face there was still a glimmer of care and affection for him.
While the three people nearby were confused and astonished while staring at the man.
"Tu... Young Master!" george said with a nervous and confused face.
"Did he go crazy from getting shot?" ling asked in his mind.
While Su Li Xia was still staring at Lu Xuan Cheng with a worried and anxious face. He wished he could replace Lu Xuan Cheng getting shot, he did not want to be protected by that man if he had to see him in pain.
His eyes began to glaze over. The tears that he had endured for the past 5 years, finally came out by itself as soon as he saw the face of Lu Xuan Cheng who was in his arms.
Lu Xuan Cheng's laughter came to a halt as the droplets from Su Li Xia's eyes fell onto his face. He looked at Su Li Xia then wiped away the water that had soaked the woman's cheeks with a palm.
"Don't cry, I'm fine!"
Su Li Xia returned a gaze from Lu Xuan Cheng, he held onto the man's face then threw out a number of questions that continued to be a burden on his mind all along.
"Hey asshole, why are you doing that?
Don't you want my death?
Why did you block that bullet for me?
Why did you tell George 5 years ago to arrest me?
What exactly do you want from me?
Can't you just go and get out of my life and An An's?"
Lu Xuan Cheng was stunned to hear the question from Su Li Xia. He looked at George who was standing at the side and raised his eyes. As if asking his assistant, "What have you done without my knowledge?"
George who was staring at Lu Xuan Cheng immediately lowered his gaze. He lowered his head and thought about what to do to correct all his mistakes.
George felt really guilty, it had been a long time since he had kept this secret from Lu Xuan Cheng. But at the moment, he could no longer cover up the mistake he made 5 years ago. The man finally decides to tell the secret he has kept from his Young Master.
"What are you saying now? Are you trying to cover up your boss's mistakes?" su Li Xia asked after turning her gaze towards George.
"No Miss, it's all really my fault. Back then, Young Master asked me to collect the letters needed to register for the marriage. But I misunderstood the orders of the Young Master and ended up almost harming Miss and the child who was in the womb Miss. I'm really sorry!" george explained everything with a sorry face.
"He wants to marry me? Apparently, for the past 5 years... Just a mere misunderstanding."
Su Li Xia looked back at Lu Xuan Cheng's face, the man developed a smile on his lips with a gentle look.
"This man, he never intended to kill me. All those bad things were just my own thoughts, and they happened because I didn't believe them. I'm the one guilty of harboring too much suspicion towards him." Su Li Xia's inner.
Su Li Xia started crying again, but this time he cried out of regret for his stupidity. She regretted not trusting Lu Xuan Cheng who turned out to be intending to marry her. He regretted not asking clearly and maintained his stubbornness for these 5 years. He regretted making An An lose the figure of a father in 5 years of his life. And, he regretted for having made Lu Xuan Cheng suffer during his 5 years of departure.
Su Li Xia's face suddenly turned tense as he recalled if the man had been shot while protecting him.
"Doctor... Ling! Call the Doctor! Sensual..."
Lu Xuan Cheng covered Su Li Xia's lips with his palm. He smiled as he wiped away the tears that were still flowing from both corners of the woman's eyes.
"No need to call the doctor, I'm fine." He said then stood upright and firmly in front of Su Li Xia.
The bullet that shot to his back turned out to hit the pendant that shifted backwards. Lu Xuan Cheng took off the necklace he was wearing, he showed a pendant that had almost split in two with a bullet stuck in the middle of the pendant.
"This locket saved my life" he said later.
Su Li Xia recognized the pendant and necklace worn by Lu Xuan Cheng. It was her necklace that was left behind when she escaped from the apartment. He had not expected that the man would take the necklace and wear it for 5 years.
"For these 5 years, there has never been a day where I've forgotten you. There's never a day when I don't miss you. And there's no day where I can fall asleep soundly after losing you." Said the man with a sad face.
"Su Li Xia, marry me!" he continued, holding both women's hands in front of him.
The proposal from Lu Xuan Cheng made Su Li Xia's heart beat again. For a long time he had frozen his heart out of misunderstanding towards the man in front of him.
"Please, give me one more chance to love you! Be my bride, the mother of my children, the wife of Lu Xuan Cheng!" her door with a face was pensive and begging.
An An An stood behind the door, he peeked while smiling proudly as it managed to make both his parents make up.
An An An walked slowly so as not to disturb his Daddy, he tiptoed until he entered the front room. The boy squatted beside the chair, peeking and waiting for the answer his Mommy would give him.
"Sorry, I can't accept your proposal!" su Li Xia replied firmly.
