CHAPTER 22: THE BLOODY ENGAGEMENT

After that day, a few days later the family decided to meet from both sides. We sat around a long dining table at the residence of Fukoda's uncle, Hiroshi's father. It appears that Ryota's brother from the beginning was cold-faced not happy about this.

“Hiroshi asked me for permission to marry Chiyo, but considering the age of Chiyo and Hiroshi who was very young I decided to get engaged first. Until they finish school” said Hiroshi's father began a conversation where breaking the silence that had been felt in the dining room was quite spacious.

“Chiyo has already said Hiroshi's point, as long as my daughter accepts then we as her parents will support her” replied my father.

“I don't know if they both grew up feeling like each other. I'm so glad we're not only friends but now family” candidates added Hiroshi's father.

“True, I didn't expect it” I'm my father.

They laughed together, but Hiroshi's mother started talking.

“I hope this engagement doesn't hurt our son, regardless of what happens to Chiyo. We know that the two like each other, but hopefully this relationship does not cause problems” said Hiroshi's mother.

“What do you mean?” ask my mom not to like it.

“Chiyo dating the son of our business partner, there will definitely be a negative impact before it is clear their relationship ends first” Ryota explained.

Mom looked at me sharply, then Hiroshi spoke up.

“I believe Chiyo, she did nothing wrong just that Chiyo was in a threatened situation. He said nothing, for he bore all his own terror and oppression. Therefore, I as a male – men who love him, want to protect Chiyo completely” I Hiroshi makes me full.

All speechless…

In – days there was a long debate between my parents and even Hiroshi's family. But still the engagement will be held as soon as possible. I was evacuated to Uncle Fukoda's residence, to be safe until the engagement day.

Departing and going home from school, I was escorted by bodyguards from Hiroshi's family. Megumi was so inexhaustible with what happened, after I confided in her.

“Chiyo.. This is your chance to get out of the devil's trap” he said.

“Entahlah... I feel still insecure with the decision of my engagement. I know Hiroshi showed his courage protecting me, but I also know how mad Kawaki” is I said.

“I will always support whatever is best for you, believe me... All will be well – fine. Keiji was now on his usual activities, I met him yesterday. We decided to end the relationship, even though I felt sad but I think this is the best thing for both of us. You can also choose your own path” added Megumi.

We throw meaningful gazes at each other, I'm glad there's still my best friend supporting me.

The engagement night came…

The event was held at one of Hiroshi's family-owned hotels in Sapporo. I was in one of the rooms, was preparing myself in make up and wearing our sky blue engagement dress. A long dress made of silk, with my hair in a modern bun.

After MUA and fashion designer finished doing make over to me, they also say goodbye. I stayed alone in my hotel room staring out the window, watching the night with stars. There is a sound of footsteps entering the room, “TAP..TAP...TAP”.

His reflection was on my windshield, Kawaki standing behind me. When I was surprised, I turned to him.

“You...how did you break through here”.

“Whose do you think I am? I came to congratulate you”.

“I won't be fooled by what you say, get out of my room!”.

“How dare you kick me out, who do you think you are? Owh is a potential fiancee of a Hokkaido conglomerate. HAHAHAHA. Then I should be reluctant to look at you, don't dream. You are still my jal@ng”.

“Basic breng$ek!”.

He pulled me over, threw me into bed and crushed me. Strangling me until I had trouble breathing, I could only wriggle at trying to get his hands off my neck.

“Le...pas..kan..aku” said stamped – brick.

“Nobody can have you but me, your body and life are mine. The item I marked will never be able to escape my hand” he said with fiery eyes – fire.

“ARRRGHHH…!!! You are absolutely crazy –, I will kill you!!!” I shouted trying to escape.

“Try to kill me if you can. You think you're so pretty huh! To such an extent the itch attracted the attention of the conglomerate's child, teasing the male – male with your filthy body!” he started raving with a bursting rage – blasts.

She with uncontrollable emotions, ripped off the dress I was wearing until my body was half over @ng. Then he kissed my face and my neck, with a splash of water flowing from the shower above us.

Megumi walked in wanting to make sure I was ready for the ballroom, but she seemed surprised to find myself being harassed by Kawaki inside the toilet.

“AAAAAAAA!!!” he shouted, he rushed out looking for help. Megumi met Hiroshi in the hallway to my room. Finally Megumi asked Hiroshi to rescue me immediately, while Megumi headed to the ballroom to inform the family and hotel security.

Hiroshi ran towards the room, I was already lying limp on the edge of the toilet door. Kawaki took off his shirt, and banged up@ng chest was calling Asahi to pick us up immediately.

I also did not stay still, I grabbed the table lamp on the table next to the bed and hit him on the head but he managed to avoid it. We fought, I continued to attack with kicks and punches. But with a fairly fast rhythm he was quick to deflect my attack, and threw a kick into my stomach. He grabbed the nape of my neck and then quickly hit my face to the table until my nose bled, and my forehead flushed red. Then he slapped me, slammed me on the floor and stomped on my chest.

“STOP!!” yelled Hiroshi who came into the room.

“This would-be fiancee of yours has come” said Kawaki who was standing right above me.

“Let go of my fiancee, you will not escape me. The police have walked here, and security is ready to go to kamar”, Hiroshi said aloud.

“But fiance is not mandatory in the error of being a prospective fiance, HAHAHAHA. You think I'm afraid of your threats. I won't be daunted by anything” Kawaki said.

“Take Hiroshi, he's no match for you. Please run” said I who was still drooping on the floor.

I know Hiroshi can't fight, he's pretty weak in martial arts.

“Interesting, you are told to leave. Then go, before I kill you. I promised your brother not to kill you” Kawaki said.

But Hiroshi instead walks towards Kawaki and butts Kawaki's stomach, trying to put up a fight. Kawaki directly beat Hiroshi's back and slammed him to the floor. With all my might I stood up, took a chair and threw it towards Kawaki. But he was still standing, pounding the chair with his hand.

Brother Ryota came and said “You can go now”.

So Ryota's sister was behind Kawaki's success accessing hotel security and breaking into my room. I was just stunned to see Ryota in front of the door.

“Before security arrives here, it's time to go” Ryota added.

Kawaki directly raised my body and carried my body on his right shoulder.

“Let go of me, you devil..breng$ek!!!” my yelling.

Hiroshi got up and blocked Kawaki's steps.

“You will not be able to take Chiyo from me” Hiroshi said. Kawaki unceasingly quickly scratched both of Hiroshi's legs with his small knife, which he took out of his pants pocket. Then stab Hiroshi in the stomach and say “He's mine”.

Ryota's brother immediately approached his blood-soaked sister who collapsed to the floor.

“Why are you doing this to my sister?” ryota protested while hugging her sister by covering her sister's stomach that was torn because it was stabbed to muffle the blood that continues to pour.

“He got in my way, I didn't kill him I just stabbed him. Calm down he will stay alive, because I didn't stab him too deep” Kawaki replied.

“Make sure your family doesn't stop me or will be the same fate as the Aihara” clan Kawaki threatened while leaving Hiroshi and brother Ryota in the room.

“Hiroshi, I'm sorry” said I looked at her sadly.
