Rika walked staggeringly in the middle of the thicket of bushes that closed the road. Several times his steps fell because it was caught by a wooden branch to cause scratches on his legs.

Bemoan. As hard as he could hold it. Several times he looked back to see if he was being pursued or not.

Safe. He can still breathe for a moment to dispel his fatigue even though it is a bit difficult.

Fortunately, he was able to escape from the insane captivity. How not crazy, every day he was beaten and whipped, even just given a little water and food.

If only the veiled woman had not helped him, perhaps tomorrow he would have become a lump of lifeless meat.

Rika stopped her steps right on the side of the highway. Staring at the road that looks very crowded but only heavily charged cars that pass by. Glancing right and left, hoping someone would help her.

He did not pay any more attention to the state of himself who was dressed in rags. Even he was exactly like a madman who was wandering around. Or at least like a vagrant who was making a living.

His smile expanded when he found a coffee shop not far from where he stood. At least he can still ask for help and also ask for a drink on them, he is very thirsty.

With great effort he dragged his feet to walk to the coffee shop. While fixing a little sleeve of his shirt that was exposed because it was torn to length up to the elbow.

When he was standing right in front of the store, all who were there stared at him. Their gazes felt like they were skinning themselves, from top to toe. Even their gazes looked questionable, bewildered, pity and fear mixed into one.

"Sorry, may I have a drink. I'm so thirsty." Rika had trouble saying it. Even he looks like he's shaking.

"Well, why luh? Where's the ikam coming from?" ask the owner of the stall while bringing Rika a glass of water, with the language of the area that is not understood by Rika.

(Duh, what's wrong with you, neng? Where did you come from?)

Rika just parroted because she did not understand at all with their words. He knows very little of the same language as English. His eyes turned to look at some visitors who had been staring at him since concerned.

With trembling hands he grabbed the glass and gulped it down to the toilet. Sometimes his eyes looked carefully at his back. He was afraid that they would realize that he was no longer there.

"Ma'af, Mum. I don't understand the language my mother uses. I am from Jakarta." After handing the empty glass to the owner of the coffee shop.

"Oh so?" suhut the owner of the stall with a slurred-sounding accent.

"Take a seat first, Neng," said one visitor who had shifted his seat to give Rika a place.

"Thank you, Mas," Rika refused. His eyes looked back at him.

"That's... Why is his face bruised? Are you one of the hit-and-run victims?" The shopkeeper who was curious about Rika again asked. He looked back at Rika who looked still trembling. He feels good to see Rika who looks terrible and somehow he became touched because of it.

"How about we go home? You treated the bruise on your face first."

Rika just nodded her head while following the steps of the middle-aged woman who had already pulled her hand towards her home located behind her shop.

"You call me just Diyang. Because people call mom by that name," he said, telling Rika to sit down at his house. A simple house with a few pieces of furniture as necessary.

"Whose name are you?"

"Rika, Mum. Call Rika, "Rika repeated her name.

"Mom get the medicine first" he said again as he passed into the room there to take the P3K box.

Rika just kept quiet while sitting down. He looked at her extremely apprehensive appearance. He just realized it now. Staring at his feet that walked barefoot and many scratches deep enough there, even some thorns seemed to be stuck in the soles of his feet.

She was grateful that there were still people willing to help her even though she was in a very foreign area and in a slightly apprehensive state.

"You ate first, I saw that you were shaking. It seems you haven't eaten since this morning." Put a plate of rice along with side dishes and also vegetables.

Rika nodded. Still with trembling hands he grabbed the rice and ate it slowly. Until the rice left a few more mouthfuls.

She was constantly watching Rika. Just this time he found a woman who was in such a state of concern.

"What's really going on with you?"

Rika stopped her rice bribe. He stared at Diyang with a paled face.

"Actually I just escaped from the abduction" Rika said in half a whisper. He was still afraid that there would be spies outside of Jacob.

"Why did you get kidnapped!?" Deflects eyes.

"I don't know. Maybe it was my stupidity to think that everyone I knew was good." Rika remembers herself when she met a biker while in front of Eland's villa.

"What do you mean? Have you kidnapped an unknown person? Some kind of human trafficking?" ask Diang curiously.

"Maybe," said Rika origin.

"Mom, where are the oil palm plantations in this area?" ask again.

Di who frowned was confused to hear Rika's question. He seemed to think and remember.

"There was. But far from here. You have to go through a detour. Because oil palm plantations are located on the banks of large rivers," he said. "Why are you asking?"

"It just so happens there's someone I know, Mom. He's also still my relative" said Rika again.

"Means you were kidnapped at what time in this area huh?" Ask again with a local accent.

Rika nodded. He looked at Diyang. I don't know why he just believes in the middle-aged woman. Maybe because he helped Rika without favoritism.

"You better finish your food first. I'll find you some help."

Rika nodded back. He continued his food which was delayed.

After eating, Rika was told to clean herself first. In fact, he was also given a pair of clothes to change clothes that were not worth wearing on his body. His wounds have also been treated. He feels so much better now.

Once again Rika felt grateful for being helped by the woman she had just known in a matter of hours.

"Mom, can I have a ride now?" ask Rika.

Diyang nodded. He looked at Rika who already looked better than before.

"You wait here. I'll call Udin for you" he said.

"But how about tomorrow morning you go. Stay here tonight first. As well as to restore your strength." Diyang looked at Rika with little hope.

"Mom, can't. I have to leave right now. To tell this incident to my master, at the same time I want to report this incident to the police," said Rika.

"All right then. I won't stop you anymore." He walked out of the house to his coffee shop to find someone who could deliver Rika safely to the place she was headed.
