With doubtful steps Karina continued walking into the living room, and sat down on the single sofa.
“For a while, mom. I will tell my aunt to make drinks and dinner,” Khandar told Karina.
“Iya,” sahut Karina.
Khandar left Karina to give orders to the housekeeper. Finished giving orders to the housemaid. Khandar returned to the living room, sitting there accompanying Karina.
“A long time ago we did not meet ya, ma'am,” cetus Khandar pleasantries.
“Sorry, may not call me by the name of Karina only,” pinta Karina is not good if the prospective in-laws call her by the name of “bu Karina”.
“Loh, why?” ask Khandar confused.
“I don't teach anymore. So, to make it better call Karina, sir,” explained Karina.
“Alright,” nod Khandar.
The door opened, Andy entered in a hurry.
“Karina,” call Andy panting while sitting himself on the sofa next to Karina, then glancing sharply at Khandar.
“Papa did nothing," said Khandar knowing the meaning of the gaze of his only son.
Before long aunt came to bring drinks and snacks for Karina.
“Please on drink,” said aunt after putting drinks and food on the table.
“Thank you bi,” says Karina.
With a smile the aunt returned to the kitchen, continuing her work of preparing dinner for them.
“Please drink,” said Khandar told Karina to drink.
Worried about being given medicine in Karina's drink, Andy picked up the drink first, downed it for almost half, then extended the drink to Karina.
“This drink is safe,” chirps Andy without shame.
Khandar just smiled, took a glass of Andy's drink, and innocently he drank a drink that Andy had drunk.
“Fromance?” ask Andy after seeing Karina drink.
Karina simply nodded, wiping the rest of the drink at the corner of her lips.
“You're so outrageous Andy. Time yes to your glass container, you give it to Karina,” Khandar chirps.
“Although Papa has changed. But, I still do not believe in the kindness that Papa showed me!” asserted Andy with a cynical look.
“It is difficult for Papa to gain your trust again,” muttered Khandar was not angry because he knew that his former self was a bad man.
Andy turned his face away.
“You should take a shower there,” said Khandar when he saw sweat drenching Andy's shirt.
“Let's wait for Karina to come home. If I leave Karina here, fearing Papa would do something bad to her,” Andy refused.
Instead of being angry, Khandar just laughed out loud.
“Andy, why are you talking like that?” karina Tegur slowly.
Andy did not reply, he just silently threw away his upset face.
“If you do not believe, take Karina to your room,” suggested Khandar intentionally.
Without Andy's refusal to stand up, his hands clasped Karina's wrists.
“Come on, it just so happens that my body is very hot today,” Andy asked without any hesitation.
“Andy,” murmured Karina with both eyes enlarged.
“Why, soon we will get married. So it's okay if you go into my room,” Andy said spontaneously.
Khandar was surprised to hear that.
“Me-married, why has Papa never heard you wet this thing to Papa?” khandar asked, wondering why Andy never talked about his serious relationship.
“I'm afraid Papa doesn't approve of our relationship,” Andy said.
“Yes, jeez Andy. Who says Papa doesn't approve of you two. Precisely Papa is very happy to hear this,” said Khandar happy.
“Serious. When are you planning to propose to Karina?” Khandar asked so pleased.
Karina was embarrassed.
“I want a proposal today, at once married,” said Andy from ceplos.
“Mana can be like that,” protest Karina.
“Kok can't?” ask Andy.
“Yes, can't be as fast as you want Andy. You have to apply for Karina, finish the application, you both have to register at the KUA office so that your marriage is registered in the State, then get married,” explained Khandar.
“The problem is small. Now the question is, is this Papa seriously bless our relationship?” ask Andy to make sure.
“Of course serious. Tonight also finished dinner we will go to the house of Karina,” said Khandar spirit. His eyes were directed at Karina. “Karina, tell your parents if your coolest book is coming home, discuss your engagement!” khandar gave the order.
“Ba-well, if so please excuse me to call Dad and mom,” said Karina.
“Iya, please,” said Khandar gave Karina the opportunity to call both her parents.
Karina got up from her seat, walking a little away from where Andy and Khandar were sitting.
Khandar got up from his seat, approached Andy's sofa and stood beside the sofa.
“Why didn't you say you were going to propose to Karina?” khandar asked in a whisper while Karina was on the phone.
“At that time Papa was sick, and I was confused about where to start the story,” Andy said.
“Why to be confused. You just say, Papa's rules can already wave Karina to you. Then you get married, and give Papa many grandchildren,” Khandar chirped so excited.
“Nothing's been thinking grandkids. It's strange that this one old man,” murmured Andy annoyed. In fact, Andy was very embarrassed to hear Khandar's words.
In the midst of the happy news, aunty came.
“Pak, food is ready,” said aunt told.
“Oh, yes thanks bi,” Khandar fast. “Papa wait for you at the dinner table. Finished Karina called her parents, then come there,” Khandar continued to tell.
Andy just nodded.
“I've called Dad and mom,” said Karina after she finished calling.
“Good, let's have dinner together, because Papa is waiting there,” take Andy while moving from his seat.
Andy and Karina step together into the dining room.
“Please, please,” welcome Khandar to extend his right hand to the left side.
Andy pulled a chair for Karina. “Contact and enjoy,” whispered Andy, then he sat down next to Karina.
So happy Khandar heard the good news from Andy. Khandar gets to providing food on the plate for Karina, and that leaves Karina and Andy a little confused.
“Pa, what the hell. ‘Kan there's me here. Let me serve Karina,” protest Andy upset.
Khandar did not answer, he just smiled while nodding.
“Don't be rough with old people. Remember, we want to get married!” whispered Karina intentionally.
Andy instantly turned calm, his hands dipped the rice and put it in his mouth.
“Eat, come on please eat!” khandar invited Karina to eat.
Finished reading the meal prayer, Karina fed her mouth with rice filled with side dishes.
“Where, good no?” ask Khandar expectantly.
“Hem, this cuisine is really good Sir,” said Karina while chewing.
“Iya, all the dishes on this table are Andy's favorite dishes,” Khandar explained there was a soft tone in his last sentence. The highlight of his eyes also leads to a bowl of sauteed squid, long beans mixed with red beans.
‘And actually the cuisine that you eat and you taste it is the favorite cuisine of my late wife, the inner’ of Khandar keep her secret from Andy.
