Chapters 16. Trying to Escape and Punishment

During the blazing day, Katryn was bored inside the mansion. There were no servants or guards he could meet, not even Mila. Rather than boredom, Katryn searches for Mila's whereabouts to teach her to make cakes.

Instead of finding Mila, Katryn got lost in the dark alley. Afraid of getting lost, Katryn turned around. However, the sound of gunfire stopped his footsteps. Curious, Katryn continued to follow the hallway and found a light there.

Before actually reaching the light, Katryn heard the sound of screaming in pain.

“Treason deserves to die!” A voice that Katryn knew very well.

“Allard?” his inner.

“I'm sorry, Mister!” write someone.

Frightened Katryn chose to leave the hall, her heart pounding with fear. Panic engulfs her, and Katryn impulsively decides to run away. However, at the exit were several guards.

“Hai, can you guys help me?”

“What's up, Miss?”

“I'm looking for Mila and Jordan, but I can't find him. Can you find him?” her door nervously, while scratching her cheek softly.

“Sure, Miss. Please just wait inside,” said one of the guards glanced at each other.

“Thank you.”

Katryn pretended to walk towards the living room, after the two moved away, Katryn quickly ran over and opened the door made of teak wood. There was no time to enjoy the outside air, Katryn rushed away from the entrance to the main gate.

Not as easy as it turns out, Katryn just realized this house is very far from the exit, even not visible at all. Katryn did not give up, she kept running to find the main gate.

Tired of running, Katryn stopped resting her hands on her knees. His breathing was irregular, he felt the distance to the main gate was hundreds of meters away. Feeling a little calm, Katryn continued running.

Unfortunately, a car pulled up right in front of him. Katryn took a few steps back as she watched Allard get off the car. His eyes looked at Katryn as a prey ready to be pounced on.

For whatever reason, Katryn was terrified. The veins on the man's neck seemed like they wanted to come out, and it was certain that Allard was furious.

The man's steps drew closer, and at that second Allard pulled him into the car. Not a word came out, Allard was silent. The car runs at high speed, Katryn until it holds the dash holding itself back.

Allard put the brakes tight, and got out. Before long, the man opened the steering door, pulling Katryn out.

“Allard, pain...” said Katryn grimaced in pain and had no answer.

The man took her to the study, where Jordan and the two entrance guards Katryn met were standing not far from the master's desk.

“What punishment would you deserve, Katryna?” Allard no longer used the calls he used.

“Al—” was cut off by Allard's pull which resulted in him sitting on the man's lap and his hands tightly coiled around Katryn's waist.

“Contact Alex!”

Jordan immediately connected a call to Alex, it didn't take long, Alex picked up the call.

[“Do your duty!] allard's orders.

“What are you doing?” Katryn asked fearfully.

“You just see!”

After saying that, Allard opened the laptop in front of him and momentarily fiddled with it. Katryn saw clearly, that Allard connected the call via Skype.

^^^[“Master,”] said one person there first, he was Alex.^^^

[“Show this girl,”]

“Allard what will you do?” katryn asked in a tremble.

“You will know!”answer Allard

“Allard, don't mess around!”pinta Katryn pleads.

“You're messing with me!” fierce Allard.

On the screen, someone was walking alone. Alex took a picture from a distance, and then two men ran towards someone. In one blink, Katryn gasped when one of them stabbed someone, she was a woman.

The woman turned her body around, seeing who did it. Katryn knew who that woman was.

“No, Alessa!!” his yell.

 Katryn was fixated, because she was Alessa accepting her actions. Not worth it, Katryn just tried to escape, she didn't run away!

“Let me go! You're mean! You hurt my best friend!” katryn shouted in rebellion in Allard's lap.

“You motherfucker! You have no heart!” it's getting brutal.

Katryn's movements uncontrollably, Allard restrained Katryn's waist so they wouldn't fall. He was not affected by Katryn's screams or movements, he remained calm because he had predicted that this would happen.

“That's because you wanted to escape from me!” he said sharp and threatening.

“You may punish me, but not my closest person!” katryn retorted slowly, she began to calm down in Allard's lap.

“This warning! Once again you try to leave, you see what I can do!” his sweat.

Katryn trembled in Allard's arms, recalling the events in the room earlier, how was the man's fate?

“Relax, Amour.” Allard stroked Katryn's arm gently.

“You—you killed the man?” tanyanya fear.

“You saw it,” Allard said coldly, telling himself.

“You killed him?” katryn asked once more, it was very easy for Allard to nod.

“Traitors deserve to die!”

Katryn's body shook violently, her heart beating twice as fast. Katryn had trouble breathing, she wanted to stand up, but Allard held back her movements.

“Amour, breathe well. I won't hurt you,” whispered Allard to calm her girl down.

Katryn's grip strengthened on her arm. Allard turned Katryn upside down, stroking her face full of tenderness.

“Be calm and breathe slowly.” Katryn shook her head, having trouble following Allard's words.

No choice, Allard clenched Katryn's lips gently. Somehow, Katryn was able to breathe as she should. Still with tears on his face, Allard took off his kiss and hugged Katryn.

From his gaze, Allard ordered the three people who were watching them earlier to come out.

Katryn is sleeping in Allard's arms. Slowly, he stood up while holding Katryn and took her to the room.

After laying down the girl's body, Allard immediately returned to the study. A small remote he took from inside the drawer and pressed it, the award rack in the corner of the room opened into two, Allard walked into the small room there.

This is one of the small secret rooms devoted to monitoring the entire cctv in this mansion. Allard repeated the incident an hour ago, where Katryn had just come out of the room and was pacing around looking for something. He watches everything Katryn does and tries to escape.

It's very early for Katryn to know her dark work, there's a sense of sadness in her heart if one day Katryn finds out about her work and leaves her. Whatever it was, Allard would never once let Katryn walk away from her life.

Allard left the room, walking towards the pool. There, Jordan was talking about something with some guards.

“Jordan, if anything happens to Katryn, contact me immediately!” his orders.

“Good, Sir. You want to go back to the office?” Allard just nodded.
