Chapters 10. Storytelling

Bizard arrived at his workplace. On the doorstep, he meets a fellow lawyer, a man named Ronald. Ronald was the closest Bizard had been to work. Bee considered Ronald as his brother.

Because the man can be a friend, friend, family, even become one of the places to complain.

"You've just arrived, too, Bee?" greet Ronald while patting Bizard's shoulder quite hard.

The man called by his name immediately raised his face, then gave a smile that was so distinctive. "Yes, Ron. There's something I need to do first. So, I came a little late. How's yours?"

They stepped together to get to their respective rooms. It just so happens that their room is next to each other.

"I'm with the school children first, the wife also checks the pregnancy, I'm the husband and father on standby," replied Ronald accompanied by a chest clap, a sign of pride.

The man who was two years older than Bizard was already married. Ronald's wife is pregnant with their second child.

Hearing Ronald's reply, Bizard could only smile bitterly. When is she going to have that kind of time with Joana?

"Why are you, Bee? Any issues?" ronald asked, looking at the gloomy looking Bizard. As someone closest to the man, Ronald often gets questions from Bizard about the family. However, Bee never once vilified Joana.

Even though Ronald knew, that the middle friend was caught off guard with his workaholic wife.

As a good friend, Ronald only gave a few suggestions, but it seems that until now things have not changed in the least.

Bizard shook his head.

"No, Ron. I'm just tired, a few days there's a lot of work to do" Bee replied. Both of his eyes said something else. And Ronald can see that.

Ronald rubbed Bizard's shoulder again, before entering the room each he said. "If there's a problem don't hesitate to share it with me. Later in the day you can talk about it, as usual I will be the best listener for you."

Bizard was silent, he really looked very pitiful now. However, for the sake of covering it all up, he nodded with a smile.

"Thank you, Ron."

Lunch time has arrived. Like the deal earlier this morning, the two went to use Bizard's car for lunch together.

One table in the corner of the room became their choice. At that time the dining place they visited looked very crowded, because the office workers were coming.

"Tell me, what's wrong?"

Bizard let out a long sigh, then shook his head slowly. "Nothing, Ron. You better tell me about your little family."

"Hey, why was I told to tell you? Obviously I see you have a problem. Wh why? Has your wife not changed?" guess Ronald at last.

Bizard looks gamang. Whether you want to tell me about Joana or not. However, Ronald seemed to be increasingly demanding answers, until finally Bizard nodded his head.

"He's out of town. The more days I feel neglected. Am I wrong if I am angry because my wife does not serve me well, for reasons of busy work? I know he's tired, but I feel it too, Ron ...."

"You know how I'm in the office. Didn't I bone down to make her happy, but she didn't take the initiative to avenge all that I did. Am I wrong to be treated fairly? As a man, I want to be treated the same. I want to be given attention, affection, love, even if it's just a fingernail, I swear, I can repay him more than what he did to me, because I really love him," clearly Bizard was at length, about his relationship getting cold.

He did look stern as he said that, but deep down he felt extremely weak. He was like an admirer begging for love.

Ronald patted Bizard's shoulder slowly.

"Patience, Bee. Maybe you are being tested now. Your marriage is only one year, try to be more open with your wife. Ask him to talk, complain about everything and find a solution. Remember, use a cool head and avoid emotions. Your wife is also working, because she is tired, her emotional level will be higher, so you have to be more patient with her."

"We've talked a lot, Ron. Maybe I'm the one with the problem? Is Joana like that because I'm too demanding?"

"Try introspection again. Ask him, what are your shortcomings? But if he is stubborn, you also have to be much more assertive, do not want to keep giving up. You're the head of the family, you have the right to determine the best for both of you."

Bizard fell silent, pondering all Ronald's words. True what the man said, he should have been even more resolute towards Joana.

He cannot keep everything.

"Sir, excuse me" said one of the waiters carrying their order. Make the chat was interrupted, because the food was neatly arranged on the table.

"Eat first, we will continue" said Ronald, and Bizard nodded in response.
