Chapter 57. Can't Lie

That night Bizard and Bianca did not return home. They spend time in the apartment Bizard gave to his second wife. A passionate voice filled the vast room, nothing could stop them, for Joana's absence was freedom for both.

While in the other country, Joana was attending a meeting party with entrepreneurs whose names are already known by the world. 

He came along with Dylan and Silvia. However, who would have thought if there, he again met the ex-lover, the first man who snatched his chastity—Edwin.

"Why is he here?"

Joana turned her face as her two eyes sat against Edwin's. He tried not to be affected by the presence of the hazel-eyed man. Even though Edwin was now stepping towards him.

Although he used to love Edwin very much, but the disappointment has closed everything. Now, there's only Bizard, no matter how Edwin goes after him.

"Hello, Joana. We meet again" said Edwin, when the man was right in front of Joana. Seeing that, Dylan and Silvia retreated on a regular basis, they were quite self-aware and unwilling to disturb the two of them together.

"Dylan!" call Joana loud enough, but the man is deaf to the point of ignoring Joana's call. He kept stepping away with Silvia, wanting to enjoy the party.

Edwin blocks Joana's wrist as the woman goes after her assistant. However, Joana quickly brushed aside Edwin's hand. "Don't touch me!"

"Why, Honey? We even spent the night together? Why are you acting like this to me?"

"Don't act stupid. I already have a husband, he's someone who can protect me, not like you running away from responsibility!" cetus Joana with a stir. Even his eyeballs were staring intently at Edwin.

He'll remember what happened years ago, when Edwin left him. Yeah, not just because the guy's been betrothed. However, Edwin did not want to have the lover of a would-be inmate like himself.

At the worst moment of Joana's life, Edwin left her and married another woman. And that's what makes Joana hates Edwin.

"And how many times do I have to explain it to you, Joana? That it wasn't my will! My father's company is collapsing."

Joana is smiling with a cynical smile. Reason that makes no sense. "My family's rich, Edwin. I can even help you in one blink of an eye! But what are you doing? You left me when I needed you. I'm almost crazy, and now, you're lightly coming into my life." Joana shook her head, inexhaustible. "Don't hope! Don't expect you to come back to me!"

Jona immediately turned her body, could not stand serving Edwin. I think he wants to stay angry. However, before he left the man, Edwin quickly pulled Joana's wrist, then led her to a corner of the room.

"Ed, off!" joana said full of emphasis while trying to escape from the hands of her ex-lover. But Joana's efforts were in vain, because she lost power.

Edwin pushed Joana's body up against the wall. His obsession with the woman was so high that Edwin quickly locked Joana in. "I won't let you go again this time. Listen to me, Joana. You were meant for me."

Edwin looked at Joana so closely, that Joana could not lie to his heart. There was still a little room for Edwin, the disappointed excuse of making him cover everything, so that he didn't look so pitiful.

"I can't believe you, Ed!"

"should have. Because we've been in a relationship for a long time. Even our bodies have been together. I want to fix everything with you."

Joana was silent, a glimpse of Bizard's shadow flashed in her eye. But he can't lie to himself, Joana's defense collapses as Edwin erodes the distance and fuses their lips together.
