Eps 9: Dragon’s Dungeon

A slash!

A head fell. It was the head belonging to one of the Lizardmen who was on guard. They were the guards of the Dragon’s Dungeon's entrance. His death was the sword held by Laciel. Fresh blood was still dripping from the tip of his sword eyes.

“Fireball!”

Blars!

Hana also helps from behind. Kill some Lizardman in a few seconds.

“Laciel,” Hana calling.

“What's up?”

“If I can't see magic power, I will definitely think that your sword art is the best.” Hana.

“There's a close!” Laciel told me as soon as he felt something.

“She is quite strong.” Said Hana who also felt that something was coming.

He appeared before them. It was a different race to the one they had previously fought. It was a Dragon. If the Lizardman is a race of humanoid reptiles, reptiles that stand on two legs and have a very high resemblance to humans. Then the Dragons were a race that had a human body above the waist, and a snake body below it.

[The dragon in question here is a half-human half-snake cobra. In this world, they were relatives and stronger than the Lizardman race. And the western dragon, which has four legs and a pair of wings, will be referred to as the Dragon, so that there is no misunderstanding among the readers.]

Standing on top of its body shaped like a snake's body, the Dragon wore a shiny iron armor under the light of the torch fire hanging along the way. The torch was not used for its light, but its heat. They can see in the dark, but they are reptiles, which in fact are cold-blooded creatures, so it requires a hot air temperature to move.

In addition to wearing armor that covered the human-shaped upper body up to his head and arms, he also grasped a long sword in his right hand and a triangular shield that faced down, facing down, and at the top there are four pointed sections. Besides, he didn't come alone. He brings along several Lizardmen who look to have been armed and well trained as well. In total there were three Lizardmen carrying swords and shields, two carrying spears, and the last three were Magic Casters. They stood by surrounding the Dragon as its center.

“Besides the Dragons, they are all only slightly stronger than the Lizardman we have defeated. But, be careful.” Hana said after measuring the strength of her opponent's possession.

“I'll be a Tank. You just focus on the magician behind them.” Laciel tightened the grip of his sword and shield. “Now!”

Laciel shot out quickly and swung his sword. However, the knight Lizardman who was in the middle was able to hold it just in time before the sword slashed it into two pieces.

Hana at the back was casting a spell, as the Lizardman knight on the left tried to dodge Laciel and attack Hana.

Without giving a single chance, Laciel immediately slashed at him horizontally from behind. The rest of the surviving Lizardman became extremely wary of him. Just a moment away, then they will soon go to the realm of judgment.

For a moment, no one moved until the Dragon advanced on its own and faced off against Laciel. When the Magic Casters on the Lizardman side were no longer protected, Hana began to attack. He had already finished preparing his spell and was waiting for the gap to appear.

Without protection, the Magic Caster could be eradicated easily. Their bodies were all burnt by the fire and gave off the scent of grilled meat.

In the middle, Laciel was exchanging slashes with the Dragon and Lizardman knights. Despite facing one against two, Laciel still looked relaxed and only focused himself on the Dragon. It was because the attack from the Lizardman knight had not had much effect on him. But not wanting to linger, he immediately ended the Lizardman's life with a single complete slash.

Remaining the Dragon and the two Lizardman spears behind him. The two of them immediately prepared and formed a formation with the Dragon as the center and each of the Lizardman spears were behind his right and left.

Laciel also retreated a little. With the Lizardman spear as a support attacker, they had the advantage in close-to-medium range. Retreating slightly to create distance and attacking using magic was a plan he thought of. That would make them both have an advantage over their enemies.

“Hana, let's attack them with magic.” Laciel. He then sheathed his sword and took out his magic wand from the inventory. After that, he, along with Hana, started chanting magic spells.

Without being able to do anything to dodge or endure, they all burned to ashes in an instant.

After defeating a few more Lizardmen who had less strength compared to the previous Dragons, the two of them were able to pass through the dungeon's passageways easily. And of course, before walking, Laciel had already put all their corpses into the inventory. He has been doing it since yesterday.

“You guys just calm down in nature there. Every inch of your body is precious.” He said with a cruel grin on his face.

For those wondering where Laciel's Tiger Blade was, then he was currently standing guard in front of the mouth of the cave-like dungeon. He was assigned there by Laciel to head off other adventurers who wanted to go inside. Thus, it was certain that as long as his Tiger Blade was not defeated or passed, only the two of them were conducting a raid inside the dungeon.

Moving on to the next room, Laciel and Hana saw something really amazing. The room was not dimly lit like the previous rooms and hallways. In fact, the room was emitting its own light. The light came from the magic diamond stones contained within the room. Tens of numbers. They are above and below the room, just like stalactites and stalagmites.

Laciel spread his gaze. Watching every inch. He felt no danger or trap behind the rocks. With confidence, he took everything and put it into the inventory.  This magic diamond will definitely have many uses, inwardly.

After putting all the magic diamonds into his inventory, Laciel walked back to the next room. This time, he was faced with a large door. The door is decorated with epic carvings. There was a huge forest and a dragon sleeping in the middle.

It seemed like he wanted to portray himself as the Lord of the Forest. Laciel thought of deciphering the image. If so, then he might just be a troublesome opponent.

“Since some room before, I can't find it on the map. Chances are we're almost, or even have arrived, in the last room.” Hana's holding the map. He bought it while getting ready before coming here.

“Good. Most likely and according to my guess, she will be behind this door.” Reply Laciel who agreed with Hana's words.

The sound of the door being opened by the two of them sounded heartbreaking to those who heard it. The two door leaves open by themselves after being pushed a few inches. The opening sound was very noisy as it clashed with the uneven ground floor of the dungeon. After they entered, many torches with blue flames that began to burn one by one took turns on the edge of the wall to the end, and illuminated the figure that was the owner of the dungeon itself.

A Dragon sat on a large stage at the end of the room. Its long tail is coiled. Its two large wings stretched to the point of almost touching the roof of the cave. He currently looked like he was sitting cross-legged with all four legs.

The breath from his nose gave off fire.
