Shanum Hanania

Shanum Hanania
Chapter 8

A bright morning. Shanum squirms when he sees the clock that already shows five o'clock exactly. He got up lazily from the bed, and immediately washed his face in the bathroom. After that, he prayed as usual. When he finished he began to clean up and returned to complaining of fate by finding a job without a clear goal

Shanum watched from a distance, looking at a small food stall, which looked a little crowded. With courage, Shanum walked over to the shop. "Sorry Buk, did you open a job opening? I'm willing to work anything Buk, I can cook, wash dishes, clean clean or whatever"

"Sorry, I did not open a vacancy" said the mother ketus

Shanum looked at the shop owner's mother who walked away from him in disappointment. Again, he had to accept rejection. Shanum was seen sighing, and finally with a heavy heart left the food stall

Shanum again walked down the street to find work. Somehow his normally strong heart was now slowly weakening. Shanum's chest felt like exploding, holding back tears of rejection for the rejection he received. But Shanum again strengthened himself, and again guided his steps to find work

Shanum followed an indeterminate path. Every now and then he would stop at a food stall, cafe, or anything to ask for job vacancies. But no one accepted it on the grounds that the available job vacancies were filled to the fullest. From a distance, Shanum saw a mosque, then walked towards the mosque, and sat on the front porch.

"Huh... Where else should I look for a job?"

He pulled out his phone, and saw some job applications that he had sent through online. But none of the many vacancies he registered asked for interviews or anything like that. He again closed his phone, and chose to move to a place of ablution. He would wash his face just to clear his mind. Finished washing his face, now Shanum's eyes were fixed on the figure of the man who was now walking towards him, no more precisely walking towards the mosque he currently stopped by. Shanum immediately hid behind a pillar when he saw the man take off his shoes and enter the mosque

Shanum came out of hiding. He stared at the back of the man who had entered the mosque. Shanum could see that the man was talking to the caretaker of the mosque, after which the man took out an envelope from his suit pocket, and was immediately received by the caretaker of the mosque. After handing over the envelope, the man seemed to disappear somewhere, because Shanum did not pay much attention to him because he was a little dumbass earlier

"You're watching me?"

"Astaghfirullah's..." Shanum flipped his body, and how surprised he was when he found that the man who was none other than Arga had now stood behind him

"You're watching me?" ask Arga again when his first question does not get an answer

"No, why am I watching you. Waste no time" Shanum put his shoes back on, and took his little backpack, then walked through Arga just like that

"I have a job for you, and that's only if you're interested"

"I know you need money, I'll pay your salary right now if you work with me"

Shanum closed his eyes. He really needs a job now, because he must immediately pay the arrears of so many Spp Kiyara. Yet he couldn't possibly accept a job from that obnoxious man instead. Shanum was still silent, until footsteps walked towards him

"Five million for one month" Arga bargained

"No" Ah, how could he refuse that tempting offer, his mouth as if he could not control so he justly refused

"You sure? My offer is still valid, but if you're sure to refuse, then I'll offer this job to someone else"

Huhhhhh...

Shanum took a deep breath and exhaled slowly "What's his job?"

"Sure you need it?" sindir Arga's

"Not so, I'm not interested" hearing Arga's tone that seemed to demean her irritated Shanum

"Hey, you're tangled apparently. Well, I'm sorry, look, I'm looking for a housekeeper, and I'm offering you. But remember I'm not forcing you, that's only true if you're interested, but if you don't then I won't force it"

Shanum was silent, he looked weighed. Being a domestic assistant is not on the list of jobs she wants. But considering these two days he was looking for a job, and had not yet been accepted made him weigh a little. Plus the costs he needs for his ad school must be met immediately

"I don't think you're willing, it doesn't matter" Arga stepped in to get back to his car

"No, I mean. I'm willing"
