Mila who was applying makeup in front of the mirror was disturbed by Elgar's cellphone which continued to sound. Mila initially ignored, so stood up to take the thing that her master left behind in the shower. Just looking at the name of Salsa on a mobile phone screen, Mila's heart was already in pain.
Chequelek
Mila looked over as the bathroom door opened. Looks Elgar who just came out with a slightly wet body and a towel wrapped around his waist.
"Salsa called many times." Mila said as she walked up to Elgar and handed him the phone that was still ringing. Elgar seemed hesitant to answer, but a nod to Mila's head made him immediately press the green icon on the phone screen. He also meloudspeaker so that Mila can come to hear their chat.
"Hallo."
"Hallo honey." Obviously relief in the voice of Salsa. It seemed, the girl was indeed trying hard to be able to contact Elgar. "Why are you so hard to contact now?" Grumpy Salsa. Elgar never called or chatted. Even if Salsa called, she must have answered for a while and pretended to be busy.
"Sorry Sa, I'm busy."
"Don't lie." Salsa Exclamation. "Let's say, you haven't been to the office in a few days."
Elgar growled softly. Didn't expect Salsa to be in contact with Tari often and ask her for information.
"I'm busy with other things."
"What?"
Elgar can't tell Salsa the truth.
"I'm going to the US." Said Elgar while looking at Mila and clasping her hands.
"Really?"
"Yes, I'm going to the US."
"I can't wait for you honey." Salsa's voice sounded even more cheerful from earlier.
"Maybe I have 3 or 4 more days. I'm busy now, Sa. I'll close it first."
"All right, finish your business. I'm waiting in the US. I miss you so much, baby."
Elgar ended his phone call with Salsa.
Elgar tossed his cell phone into the bed and hugged Mila from behind. The aroma of soap and shampoo are so fragrant from the body of Elgar, really spoil the sense of smell Mila.
"I'm going to the U. S. to finish my business with Salsa. I can't possibly decide by phone. Our relationship started off well, and I want to end it well too."
Mila nodded in understanding. Although it feels heavy to release Elgar to the US, but he should not be selfish. Salsa also has feelings, let them finish what should be finished.
"Do you trust me?"
Mila turned to face Elgar and nodded. Jealousy was obvious, but this time, he believed in Elgar.
Mila briefly stroked the chest of her husband's field overgrown with fine fur. Then he rang the man to sit on the bed.
"Let me lighten your hair." Mila went to the cupboard to get a small towel and headed back to Elgar.
Mila was about to get into the basket but was held back by Elgar. The man tugged at Mila's waist to sit on her lap. Mila could only obey, she sat sideways on Elgar's lap and rubbed the man's head down. The position of Elgar's head close to Mila's chest made the man kiss and sniff like a thirsty baby.
"Stop El." Said Mila who felt careless. But he was just talking, not a single effort to keep his chest away from Elgar's savagery.
"It looks like there's still time to do it once." Pinta Elgar looked up at Mila full of cravings.
"Nothing." Mila replied while shaking her head. She then got up from Elgar's lap and sat back in front of the dresser to continue with the unfinished makeup.
"Anytime, baby. I promise it won't be long." Whine Elgar while approaching Mila and standing right behind her.
"No. There's not once or anything. We agreed to go to the supermarket. So don't waste any more time. Immediately put on the clothes I've prepared on the bed." Mila said without disputing.
If it's like this, Elgar can only resign and immediately change clothes.
...******...
This afternoon, both Mila and Elgar seemed very eager to shop. Both of them continue to chat about the menu they will cook for up to 3 days. So engrossed, they just keep shopping until the trolley driven by Elgar is almost full.
Lucky today is not a weekend, so they do not need long queues just to pay the cashier.
"Nothing less?" El asked when their groceries were being totaled by the cashier.
"There's no such thing." Mila answered while busy looking at the chocolate and candy near the cashier. He was reminded of the treasure that Pink had stored in it. It was like he was buying some chocolate and candy for the boy.
Mila took some and put it on the cashier's table.
"When do you like sweets?" Ask Elgar in surprise.
"Make Pink."
"Oh..cirain."
"What chain?"
"You're pregnant. Hence the arrival of strange odd likes due to the effects of cravings, hehehe." Answer it while grinning.
Mila took a slow breath. So bad Elgar had a child, his mind.
"New bride?" Ask the cashier.
"Not mbak." Mila replied with a smile.
"It's still about to take care of the wedding." Elgar continued to relax but made Mila immediately glare.
"No, no. My husband likes to joke. We've been married for almost 6 months." Mila explains.
"You're what the hell." Hiss Mila while glaring at Elgar.
"Dear joke. Then mbak mbak kepo. You want to know people's business." Said Elgar without slowing down the sound. Automatically, the cashier heard it.
The cashier's mother lowered her head in embarrassment.
"Easy already." Sizzle Mila while jerking Elgar's arm.
"Sorry, ma'am." Said Mila who felt bad. At the end of this Elgar already looks good, in fact he remains the same as before. Arogant and sucks.
"It's okay mbak. I should be the one apologizing." Said the cashier while continuing his work. After she finished paying, Mila quickly took Elgar away from there.
"We're somewhere first." Elgar said when they were in the car.
"Where?"
"There is."
"This, habit. So secret pretentious."
"Haha....Yes, the pokonya. Same Mas Aa Elgar mah must be happy."
Mila flicked her lips and put on the seatbelt.
After a journey of almost an hour, they arrived at a restaurant. Elgar took Mila down and came in. A waitress took him upstairs after Elgar mentioned his name. Unbeknownst to Mila, Elgar has been on reservation since yesterday.
Mila was amazed to see the restaurant that she thought was amazingly luxurious and beautiful.
They are welcome to occupy the table on the balcony. The table is separate from the rest so the effect is very private. The view is also very good there. Mila believes Elgar spent a lot of money to book this place.
There are candles and flowers in the middle of the table that add to the romantic impression.
"Is this not excessive?" Ask Mila.
"There's nothing superfluous for a woman as beautiful as you." Elgar replied with a smile and clasped Mila's hand.
Mila is really happy. Tonight, for the first time, she and Elgar are romantic dinners like this.
No need to wait long, two waitresses came while carrying food and drinks for them.
When their food was almost finished, a waitress arrived while carrying a bouquet of flowers.
"Mila's sister, huh?" Ask.
"Yes." Yeah."
"There's a flower for the mother." He handed the flowers to Mila.
"From who?" Ask Elgar in surprise.
"The man did not want to be called Mas. But there's a greeting card here. Checkable, maybe the guy's got a name on it." Answer the waitres while pointing at the greeting card that was wrapped in flowers held by Mila. After the task was completed, the person immediately resigned.
Mila seemed hesitant to open the greeting card. Plus, the annoyed look on Elgar's face made him feel uncomfortable.
"You're not playing behind my back, are you?" Asked Elgar in a cynical tone.
"Jeez El, what are you talking about. Where could I be like that." Sila Sangkal.
"That's proof, someone sent you flowers."
"I didn't know El about this flower. It might be from one of the diners who prank or misdelivered."
"But obviously the waitress mentioned your name." Elgar's tone began to rise slightly.
Mila circulated her view of the glass-covered inner restaurant. Maybe someone knows him. Don't don't you, Mr. Bas? or maybe Devan is the prankster? Mila is agitated at the thought of who gave her flowers during a diner with Elgar.
Seeing Elgar move from his seat, Mila immediately followed and grabbed Elgar's arm.
"Not as you think El." Mila hugged Elgar's arm so the man wouldn't leave.
"Don't be angry, please.." Please with glassy eyes look at Elgar's hardened face holding back anger.
"I don't care who gives you these flowers. Anyway I don't like it. These flowers are ugly. I'll throw it away if you want." Mila was about to throw the flower down but was held back by Elgar.
"Open the greeting card first. I wonder who sent my lady flowers."
With trembling hands, Mila took the greeting card that was tucked in the dibuke. He put the flower on his desk and focused on the pink envelope and opened the contents.
Mila's eyes glared and her mouth gaping read the writing.
"Will you merry me?"
Said the exact same Elgar with the writing on the greeting card. The man suddenly knelt down with a box containing a ring in his hand. And along with that, a man came and played Christina perri's a thousand years.
Mila covered her mouth with a palm while crying. His feelings were mixed between happy, overwhelmed and upset.
"Will u merry me?" Elgar repeated again because Mila did not answer.
And a nod made Elgar immediately smile and then stand up. He took the ring from the box and pinned it on Mila's sweet finger and kissed her.
Mila immediately splashed Elgar's embrace with happy tears that were still flowing.
Elgar releases Mila's embrace and wipes away her tears.
"It's so bad, why prank me." Annoyed Mila while hitting El's chest softly.
"I'm sorry, just wanted to give you a little surprise." Elgar replied with a chuckle.
"We're married, but why are you proposing to me?"
"Because soon we'll remarry. It's appropriate at this wedding, everything goes in order. So I decided to scatter you first."
While Mila was still upset, Elgar held her nape and smothered her with a soft kiss. Just ghosting it made Mila embarrassed half to death because there was someone else there.
