Chapter 17: The Haram

Danisa just got off her cab. Suddenly, the man who had confronted him this morning when he left for school was already in front of him. The very annoying man was carrying two bodyguards. He glared at Danisa as if his eyeballs were about to pop out. Indra took a swing to slap Danisa.

Almost Indra's hand landed on his face, but deftly the surgeon girl avoided the slap that Indra wanted to lay to him. He again twisted Indra's hand and defeated them all. The silat he got and learned first was not in vain and useful in dealing with difficult situations like today.

The movement that Danisa did was caught by the female secretary who worked in Devan's office. He smiled and intended to report Danisa's actions to his superiors. Some pictures of young girls who were struggling were taken with a mirrorless camera. Joining the secretary is not without cause and reason, because he has secretly liked Devan for a long time. This private secretary wants her boss and Danisa's engagement relationship to end.

The secretary immediately walked away from the scene. He's headed to the office where Devan is. In a hurry he got out of the car and went inside.

“Why Sar?” Ask Devan nonchalantly. He continued reading his newspaper.

“You see this!” Sarah showed me the portrait on her camera. Devan's face turned unhappy. His forehead shriveled.

“Your betrothed got into a fight with some men! That woman doesn't deserve you, Dev!” Sarah's starting to heat up Devan. He was bad-mouthing Danisa.

“This is not a thing that a woman deserves to do! Aren't you disappointed? He is not worthy of being compared to you!! You should know that, Devan!” Sarah again. Devan seemed to think. He saw a B plate on the vehicle in the photo Sarah showed. Devan picks up the phone located on the table.

“Please check who the license plate owner is with the number B 87xx !” Devan's word to his assistant.

"Okay sir, let me do it immediately!"

After the events involving him and Indra yesterday, Danisa became even more vigilant. The girl walked quickly after school. As usual, he would take a taxi. But damn, again the movement was stopped by someone. Not Indra but a butler.

“Sorry Miss, I am a butler who wants to take the lady to see Mrs Mira”. Hearing the name Mira called, Danisa raised her head.

"Mrs Mira wants to see Miss! " Next the butler again. Danisa decided to take a step to meet them.

But Mira thought, Danisa did not remember the dark event at all because of her very small age. So Mira makes sure that Danisa will accept all the lies she throws.

Danisa wants to deny and give arguments for all her lies. But suddenly Danisa remembered the words of her grandmother who said that she should not deal with the Bambang family. Given this, Danisa undoes her intention to expose all Mira's lies.

“I know about your engagement with Devan, you'd better back off from that engagement. You really don't deserve Devan!” Further again. Mira gave advice next to the side.

“For the future, you should also listen to all my commands!” Tell Mira arbitrarily. Hearing the word that Mira uttered, Danisa quickly took her phone and typed something there.

“Should Madam know herself!” Tukas Danisa's. He stared emotionally at Mira who was bragging in giving orders.

“Cih! I'll make your grandmother wretched if you don't approve of what I'm saying!” Mira began to threaten. Danisa is smiling. He typed a new sentence on his phone screen.

“This is my grandmother's address!” Type Danisa and then show the address of the grandmother's house. Danisa looked at Mira with a murderous look. His gaze hinted that if Mira was playing around with him, he was just looking to die by himself. Danisa had already thought about this, let alone her grandmother having dozens of extremely powerful and competent bodyguards.

Danisa took out a piece of paper and wrote something down there: Daring to threaten her grandmother means looking to die. Danisa immediately went to write the sentence. He left the kertaas and managed to make Mira stunned.

There was a knock on the door while Devan was still struggling with company reports. The assistant came into his room.

“Report Sir! According to the information I got, Miss Danisa is the Haram child of the Bambang family. Information about who is the mother of Miss Danisa such as deliberately hidden” said The Assistant. The report he made managed to make Devan's forehead shrivel.
