Chapter 9: Being Above the Wind

Danisa sontak rise. He shifted the window and peered out to see who the person with the owner of the booming laughter sounded. The man outside could see Danisa from behind the translucent glass. He smiles. Danisa was surprised, the person was Dr. Charles, the lawmaker.

Recognizing the presence of Dr. Charles, the mother of the victim named Mila hurriedly approached. He got up from his seat with a sad face as if he was looking for justice.

“Mr. Charles, introduce! I am Noori. The mother of a violent victim caused by Danisa. My son is named Mila. I am currently seeking justice for him” Noori said. His face was made as sad as possible until tears were nourished there. Eyes dewy.

“Can we sit down to talk? I will tell you my case!” Pinta Noori cupped her hands together pleading. There is no choice, the person who is famous as the king of the trial agreed. They walked into an empty room and sat facing each other.

“Mr. The honorable charles.. I'm begging.. Reveal justice for my son Mila. As a mother, my heart really hurt and hurt. Because the only child I care about so much is treated arbitrarily!” Noori started to reveal her complaint. Mr. Charles just silently listened intently as if he cared about everything the woman said.

“How sit the incident?” Ask a lawyer with a serious face.

“That night, my son's face was broken by a man named Danisa. He slapped hard. Not only that, Mila's face until bruised and bonyok! The beautiful face of my son became very apprehensive” Sahut Noori explained what the famous lawyer asked. Noori's tears were successful. He reported what Mila experienced but was somewhat exaggerated. Mr. Charles nodded his head. Like understand.

“Then from that, I beg you the lawyer to uphold justice. On behalf of Mila, I am Noori Alamsyah pleading for Mr. Charles wants Danisa to go to jail. Put that cruel woman in jail forever.. Hiks Hiks” Noori is showing her face. He was crying a lot. Sometimes he rubbed his wet eyes with a handkerchief. Noori positions herself as a mother demanding justice on behalf of her son.

“Is it really like that?” A question sentence succeeded in making Noori flinch.

“A. Charles?”

“What Mother Noori said was the truth? Is that true?” Continue Mr. Charles raised one eyebrow and smiled showing his smirk.

“Sss I don't understand what master said!" Lirih Noori again frowned. This woman failed to digest what master Charles' facial expression meant.

“Begini, we speed it up..” Mr. Charles was still smiling forming a curve.

“Didn't last night the mother's son named Mila who first approached Danisa?” Ask Mr. Charles seductive.

“I..iya...” Noori start raging.

“Tttt.. but Danisa was the one who persecuted Mila. Danisa slapped hard!” Noori is still doing her defense.

“Slap to defend yourself after being given a threat?!” Ask Mr. Charles. Although with a soft voice again soft, but the voice managed to shake Noori's feelings. He's woken. Sculpting for a moment but before long, Noori tried to regain control.

“What exactly is Mr. Charles? Did you make a mistake?” Noori asked almost in disbelief. Mr. Charles shakes. A special smile with a smirk still decorates clearly there.

“What do you mean to side with Danisa?”

“Mr. Charles, that client of the lord should be we're not Danisa! We are the real victims!” Tukas Noori's. This time he ventured to look at the face of Mr. Charles who looked soft serious but full of mystery.

“Honey, sorry ma'am Noori. My real client is Miss Danisa Maria Anna”. Charles. Every word that was spoken was filled with emphasis. Noori was dumbfounded growing in disbelief.

“Sorry, did Devan invite Mr. Charles and pay double to defend Danisa?” Noori asked slowly. He felt unsure of the ability of Danisa who can afford a famous lawyer class Mr. Charles who is now being glorified.

“No bu Noori, I was not invited by Devan or others. I'm so sorry, like there's nothing else we need to talk about! Then excuse me!” Said Mr. Charles got up from his seat. He exited the room leaving Noori who was again dumbfounded. 

Mr. Charles exited the room and met Danisa. The girl was sitting on a bench. It seems he was waiting for free time from the famous lawyer to speak.

“Hi Danisa..” Hello Mr. Charles friendly. He looked warm with his smile. 

“Mr. Charles... I need your help..” Say Danisa with Sign Language.

“I know.. It’s okay.. all will be fine”. Charles calmed her down. He behaved differently when facing the girl in front of him. His friendly and warm attitude towards Danisa made everyone wonder. Especially the police. Seeing him they were dumbfounded. Though Mr. Charles was famous for his arrogant attitude. He is also known as the podium lion. 

“Please excuse me, is Mr. Charles and sister Danisa know each other before?” Ask the police officer.

“Ya, sure.. We know each other.” Reply Mr. Charles elegant. 

“This Danisa lady is my junior!” Continue him again. The officers nodded their heads. They turned to look at Danisa with respectful gazes. In other words, Danisa is not a random person. Most likely what people are accusing him of is not true. Especially in the case of beating. Because Mr. Charles is very selective in choosing clients. He upholds the value of honesty.

Noori came out after a moment of being shocked in the room. His surprise has not yet recovered, he has been confronted by the reality that Mr. Charles and Danisa look so familiar. Danisa's neat teeth were seen as they talked to each other. Feeling shy. Noori was staring in any direction. Looking at Noori who just came out of the room where they met earlier, Mr. Charles approached. 

“Do not play with fire if you do not want to burn! Don't play with the truth. In the end, the truth will always be revealed! Not in the world, but in the end. But one thing to always remember! No lies are eternal! Hope you understand this philosophy Miss Noori!” Said Mr. Charles gave a warning. He emphasized every word. Noori and the officers from the police force were stunned.

Danisa, who is about to leave the office, gives a signal to Mr. Charles to help solve his case. The lawyer raised his hand to agree. Noori saw Danisa who was in the wind was upset.His feelings turned sour so it was not bad.
