Lin Yuhua had finished absorbing the efficacy from the demon fruit, his eyes that had been closed since earlier had opened completely. Looking around looking for Liu Zixia's whereabouts, he found Liu Zixia sitting on Long Ze's shoulder under a shady tree with her eyes closed like she was asleep.
Lin Yuhua walked towards them leisurely, in the slightest his eyes did not switch from Liu Zixia's calm face as if they were back in time where Liu Zixia often leaned on one of them.
"When did he sleep?" lin Yuhua asked softly almost like a whisper to Long Ze fearing making Liu Zixia wake up.
Long Ze looked at Lin Yuhua, giving him the code to approach in order to move Liu Zixia's head off his shoulder. Lin Yuhua instantly understood, he sat leaning back in search of a comfortable place then straightened his legs so that it could be used as a pillow for Liu Zixia.
"He had just slept not long ago, after concocting various potions maybe he felt tired." Long Ze replied casually while massaging his almost numb shoulder.
"Why not move him to the train? I'm sure Ling Zhi must be looking for us" said Lin Yuhua.
Lin Yuhua's eyes disappeared from there and then appeared inside the carriage. He took out a soft pillow and moved Liu Zixia's head, Lin Yuhua walked out of the carriage sitting beside Ling Zhi.
"What's going on? Did Zixia's space experience anything?" asked Ling Zhi curiously.
Lin Yuhua shook his head, he looked straight ahead before suddenly his ears heard a loud cry. Hurriedly Lin Yuhua flew to the origin of the sound that turned out from the right direction of the oncoming carriage.
Lin Yuhua continued searching for the origin of the sound, he moved from one tree to another and found a group of girls being forcefully pulled into the carriage. Lin Yuhua directly approached there intending to find out what was happening but his presence was evidently caught by those people.
Those who were shocked instantly attacked Lin Yuhua displaying their original half-human half-demon form.
Their strange look was unlike that of a real demon that had pointed ears with red eyes. It was clear that they were not from the demon world like the creatures in that village.
"Yes, we are all from the Black Sect. We are here to capture these beautiful teenage girls for the survival of us all. We even want a newborn to eat" they said proudly.
The girls grew increasingly frightened, their hysterical cries made Ling Zhi stop the carriage then fly to see what happened. The bodies of the young girls trembled uncontrollably, their tears falling down in agony.
Lin Yuhua who was attacked together found it difficult because all of his strength could not be used yet because he had just finished absorbing the devil fruit. Lin Yuhua's right hand was injured with black blood coming out of his body before disappearing just like that.
Ling Zhi joined the battle, making the enemies start to feel overwhelmed.
"Why are you so weak now?" ling Zhi asked annoyed that the clothes he was wearing were exposed to the enemy's blood.
"I just ate the fruit to neutralize the power inside my body. I want this power to be stable so that it can take better care of Liu Zixia." Lin Yuhua replied without looking over.
He was busy facing four enemies who attacked him from all directions. Ling Zhi casually finished off the disciples of the Black Sect using her always-saved sword.
"Catch one alive to ask where their nest is. I'm tired of walking around looking, if it could be easy why not." Lin Yuhua gave orders to Ling Zhi.
Hearing what the two people in front of him the Black Sect disciples started to fear then thought of a plan to run away. They gave each other a code intending to escape from there as quickly as possible.
