Liu Zixia managed to sharpen her hearing and finally arrived at an unkempt old courtyard, the courtyard looked terrifying as the grass there was as tall as an adult calf. The dead trees were left untreated or cleaned up, the garbage strewn everywhere discouraging people from coming there.
Liu Zixia used the science of lightening her body to arrive at the space in the courtyard without anyone knowing. He managed to open a small crack in the wall to see what was really going on inside the room.
In the room was an old woman whose legs were tied with clothes that were far from decent, the woman stared intently at Lu Ran Ran who was carrying food. Lu Ran Ran smiled scornfully put that food on the floor then sat down on the only chair that was in the room.
"How are you old lady? You comfortable here?" lu Ran Ran asked with an alluring smile yet filled with hidden evil. "Why should I ask when the answer is clear. Hahahaha," Lu Ran Ran's laughter sounded so loud yet no one dared to approach the place due to the rumors circulating.
"Why aren't you dead, too, old lady? What has kept you alive to this day? You want to meet your son? You want to tell me about what I did to you? It's impossible because you'll be locked up here forever, until you die." Lu Ran Ran laughed creepily, the hatred in Lu Ran Ran's eyes made the woman look scared.
"You're evil Lu Miao! You killed your own brother to live happily and claim to be him. Aren't you afraid karma will come to you?" The old woman lashed out with clenched hands.
Lu Miao aka Lu Ran Ran laughed even bigger, he fanned himself and stood up to leave.
"Lu Miao was dead decades ago when she gave birth to that unwanted child who is alive now is Lu Ran Ran. The mother of He Yuan whose son was to become the wife of the prince of the Upper Continent, but strangely, all those foolish men until now did not know that his beloved wife was long dead." Lu Ran Ran walked out of the house through the back door that almost collapsed at any time.
"Who are you? What do you want? Are you gonna kill me?" ask the woman with narrowed eyes.
Liu Zixia shook her head, she used her strength to take off the woman's shackles and threw the medicine she always carried with her. "What is your relationship with He Yidu's mother?" liu Zixia asked with her hands folded on her chest.
"She's not He Yidu's mother, He Yidu's mother is dead. The woman was her mother's twin, she killed He Yidu's mother in order to get what Lu Ran Ran had, she said, he hated He Yidu's mother so much that was why he always treated He Yidu badly. I don't know what the fate of the boy is right now but I hope he's okay" whispered the old woman weakly with tears streaming down.
If only he had enough courage to speak up and was not afraid of Lu Miao's threat then everything would have been exposed long enough, when he had the courage Lu Miao set fire to his house. Makes it look like he died in that fire when he was actually locked up here.
"He's not He Yidu's mother? Then why on the other child is he good?" liu Zixia asked looking curious.
"Since the others don't have the same traits as Lu Ran Ran, the others are also very obedient to him." The old woman explained, she moved her long-bound legs.
