10 Years Later
The sound of the clanking of spoons clashing with plates rang out loud in the dining room this morning. As usual, Romanov and his children had breakfast together. With a newspaper in hand and a cup of coffee, he would wait until his children finished breakfast before leaving for the office. Little things he's done since his wife died ten years ago. Romanov did not want his children to lack attention even though he now only had himself.
“Dad..”.
His daughter's voice broke into the dimly lit room of Romanov who was still busy reading the news in the newspapers.
“Spend your breakfast, dear.” Romanov said without distracting him.
“Dad..”.
“After that drink her milk.” Again, Romanov responded to his daughter without stopping to read the newspaper.
“Daddy.” This time Natasha's tone was a little upset.
Not yet Romanov turned to his daughter, the newspaper in his hand was displaced Natasha's body suddenly slumped in the lap. Romanov could only let out a long sigh while getting rid of the newspaper. Of the three children, Natasha is the most spoiled, it is because of Natasha's long distance with her sisters and the pampering treatment of everyone.
“What's the matter dear?” Ask Romanov.
“Tonight there's a Prom Night.” party Natasha said pursing her lips.
“Iya, you can go.” Romanov.
“Tasya don't want to go Daddy.” Natasha Whine.
“Why? That was your graduation party, baby, and again you're the biggest fund-raising kid in your school. So you have to come.” Romanov.
“Daniel does not want to accompany.” Grutu Natasha glanced at her brother who was still busy eating breakfast. Daniel who heard Natasha's grunts giggled amusedly.
“Go with your dear friend.” Romanov.
“They already have their own partner.” Bright Natasha further bent her face, “Tasya wants to go with Daniel.”
“Your sister will leave for London this afternoon.” The word Romanov reminds.
“Daniel, tomorrow we go.” Natasha's whine turns to Daniel.
“I have a meeting tomorrow Tasya, after all I don't want to date a little girl like you.” Daniel's temptation nicks Natasha's nose.
“Daniel evil.” Infuriated Natasha, “daddy..”
Romanov was silent to rotate his brain quickly, if not immediately completed Natasha's whining will not stop until he comes home from work later, “just go with James.” Romanov looked at his adopted son sitting next to Daniel.
Natasha followed the direction of her father's gaze. He was so hard to swallow. He could not imagine going with his super-cold, indifferent brother who would only respond to each word in the shortest possible way.
Hearing her name mentioned, James turned to Romanov and looked at Natasha alternately.
“James, accompany Natasha to the Prom Night event tonight.” Pinta Romanov's.
“Good dad.”
That was the answer from James. Natasha who heard it could only grimace with her hands involuntarily clutching her father's arm.
“Natasha.”
Romanov's voice jerked Natasha and released the clutches of his hands.
“Daddy departs first.” Pamit Romanov raised Natasha's body to stand up.
Natasha nodded without being able to protest her father's decision anymore. He looked back at James who seemed indifferent even left after finishing his breakfast, without bothering to ask him about the party later tonight.
“Daniel.”
This time it was Daniel who was the target of Natasha's whining.
“Heem.” Daniel was busy with his cell phone.
“Besok course yes leave for Londonnya.” Kayu Natasha's.
This time Daniel chuckled at Natasha's whining, “can't Tasyaku dear. Tomorrow there is a meeting early in the morning after that prepare your files to enter the campus.”
“Can't it be delayed?” Natasha asked with a parched face.
“Cannot. Didn't James want to accompany.” Daniel looked at his sister.
“With you alone yes.” Natasha Pinta.
Daniel widens his lips, knowing full well Natasha is not very comfortable with James. Whether since when their relationship stretched because as Daniel remembers, James was so close to Natasha as a child. “You should get used to James' demeanor dear. Soon you'll be on campus with him.”
“What?!” This time Natasha was really surprised.
“Daddy has already put you in the Imperial College London, which means you will be on campus with James and will probably stay with him later.” Daniel's Light.
“I want to stay with you.” Dengus Natasha's.
“Bby, we can stay three. In the end you will stay with James more often because I will be busy working.” Said Daniel.
Natasha's body immediately lunglai heard the news. He had tried many times to get close to James, but since he had been in boarding school their relationship had drifted further and further after James had attended college in London. They rarely greet despite meeting during the holidays and are both in the castle. James preferred to practice martial arts with his father's men rather than hanging out with his father and Natasha.

After taking Daniel to the airport. James opts to return to the castle, canceling plans to practice shooting at Jason's place. He had already agreed to accompany Natasha to the prom night, there was no way he would cancel it because Romanov had been so kind to her all along. He did not want to disappoint his father.
It was almost four in the afternoon when James entered the castle. He did not hear Natasha's voice inside. Usually his little brother was heard singing at will wherever he was. James stepped into Natasha's room, making sure the girl had started to get ready. Doubtfully James knocked on Natasha's room door before opening it slowly. In the white room, there was no sign of Natasha there.
From where he stood, James could see Natasha who was drowning in daydreams on one of the swings in the park. Suddenly he remembered the times when they were little. They often play there, joking together filled with laughter. But now that things are so different, their relationship is further and further apart. James admitted that. He decides to keep his distance from Natasha because she means too much to him.
James took a deep breath before moving closer to Natasha. The day is getting late, they must immediately prepare so as not to be late to the prom night.
“Natasha. It's late afternoon, get ready.” James said firmly.
Hearing James' words, the originally lowered Natasha straightened her head slightly surprised, but soon she nodded to cover it up. He also moved from the swing. Without saying anything, he walked ahead of James who was trailing his steps behind. They parted at the intersection of the castle hallway. Natasha looked back at James who was walking in the opposite direction. He took a deep breath, then walked back to his room.

At seven o'clock in the evening, James parked his car in Natasha's school yard where the prom night would take place. He turned to his little brother who had not made any sound since leaving the castle. Her slightly sour face did not fade Natasha's beauty at all.
Without saying anything, James got out of the car. Turn towards the passenger door and open the door for Natasha.
“Natasha.” Call James after the door opens, he thrusts his right hand to help the girl out.
Natasha who was daydreaming was a little surprised, turning to James who had been standing in the doorway. Indecisively Natasha welcomed James' hand. After a long time, only this time Natasha again felt the warmth of James' hand grip.
There was not much they talked about throughout the show. During the opening, Natasha only spoke as necessary to a few friends who greeted. James followed behind. If only Natasha wasn't the school's biggest donor, she chose to go home soon. Tired of boredom, Natasha walked towards a row of booths of drinks and food.
“Do not drink that one.” Sergey James when Natasha wants to grab a cocktail.
“Why? It's not alcoholic, is it?” Natasha asked confusedly.
“Search for others.” Pinta James's.
Natasha turned her hands on another line of drinks. As he was drinking, from the tail of the eyes were seen some girls approaching James in their centile style. Just a quick look at Natasha knew the girls were the ones who used to make fun of her during school.
Natasha's face grew even more sour as one of them blatantly slipped on James's arm. Not wanting to see the sickening sight for longer, Natasha approached James who was busy serving the girls.
“James, I want to go home.” Natasha.
“The event is not yet finished, Nat.” James looked around.
“I don't care.” Natasha said stubbornly.
“Daddy has ordered to be here until the event is over.” James reminded.
“I want to go home!” Jerky Natasha.
Not yet James opened his voice, the girl who had a sling on James' shoulder interrupted first, “if you want to go home, then go home alone. Some kids don't deserve to go to a party like this.” Pout the girl.
Natasha stared fiercely at the girl, wanting to feel like she was clawing at that annoying face. “James, let's go home.” Whimpering.
“Stop acting to kids, Nat!” Angry James.
I couldn't believe hearing James scold him. Natasha looked at James disappointedly. That was why he was not happy to be next to his foster brother. Even Daniel never snapped at her even though he whined incessantly when her brother was busy. Slowly Natasha walked backwards away from James. Then he turned around and left the place without saying anything more.
“Nat... Natasha..” Call James feel guilty for yelling at the girl.
“Have ignored it. She indeed had to be scolded occasionally so as not to act spoiled.” Said the girl beside James preventing the man from catching Natasha out.
Natasha kept walking out of the hall where the party was going. He held back all his might so as not to cry at that very moment, until he was in a quiet place where Natasha's tears spilled. He did not understand why James' attitude towards him had changed so drastically. No more his brother who made a laugh, no more James who was willing to do anything so that he did not cry but now, the man was actually hostile to him.
He kept thinking about finding fault with James until his brother changed, but no matter how hard he tried to remember. Not one of Natasha's actions made that man hate her. He really misses the old James.
In a hasty move, James combed the school looking for Natasha. Although he tried to ignore it, in the end he could not calm down to let Natasha be outside alone. He felt sorry for the girl's rude behavior.
“Natasha.” Call James slowly to see Natasha sitting on the floor in a quiet place. He heard Natasha's sobs.
“Natasha... sorry I scolded you earlier.” James stroked Natasha's head.
“Go there, I don't need you. Just go back to the party with the girls.” Shouted Natasha annoyed.
“Nat..”
“I hate you. What if I was a kid!” Maki Natasha beats James in the chest.
James instantly pulled Natasha and immersed her in his arms, “forgive me.” His words are full of regrets. He hugged Natasha tightly until the girl calmed down and stopped rebelling despite still crying as much as she could in her chest.
“I'm sorry baby, sorry.” James' whispers are non-stop.

After Natasha calms down, James takes Natasha home. But he did not go straight to the castle. He secretly took Natasha to a small park that would have been empty of visitors. A confused Natasha sees James stopping the car turning to her sister full of question marks. Her brother threw a small smile and then got out of the car. Opens Natasha's side door and takes her out.
“What do we do here?” Natasha asked confusedly to find James bringing her closer to a fountain in the pond.
“You haven't danced before.” James replied to his phone.
“So?”
“We dance.” James said he played a song from his phone. He then took Natasha's hand.
Although a little hesitant and feeling strange, Natasha let her guiding sister to start dancing under the stars.
“I'm sorry I couldn't be a good sister to you.” James said on the sidelines of their dance, “but trust me I love you.” He then looked into Natasha's two eyes. His sister nodded with a smile making him smile happily.
They continued to dance under the star-studded black sky, accompanied by songs and symphonies gurgling with water.
I love you more than Natasha Arabella Romanov.
