The Mistress

The Mistress
Princesses Lift

Heavy rain accompanied by windstorms drenched the ground under Rea's footrest. The sky was so dark even though it was still daytime. The earth and the universe seemed to feel the heartache of a girl who now has an orphan status.

Rea, yes, that girl is Rea Michaela. An innocent girl who lives her life peacefully with her parents. There was nothing lacking even though both of his parents did not have abundant treasures.

However, on that unexpected night, a news that greatly shocked his mind. That both his parents had an accident on the way home from the city park booth.

Rea's world collapsed, everything felt dark to him. His only happiness had been snatched from him without even a word of farewell.

The girl looked up at the two mounds that were the temporary resting place of her parents. There were no tears in her eyes. The girl was already too tired to cry, crying over the departure of her father and mother.

They left Rea for good. Rea felt God was unfair to her. Why did God take them so quickly. Why when he still needs love from them, his mother's father was taken for granted?

The girl's knees touched the wet ground, while her hands clasped the grave ground. His heart was so broken, shattered beyond measure.

"Dad... Mum... come back...." Rea knew it was impossible and perhaps only a miracle could bring his parents back. But Rea hoped, may the miracle happen.

"Rea.." a soft voice greeted his ears, but Rea ignored him.

"Darling, they're quiet there. Don't make your mom and dad sad to see you like this" said one woman who witnessed how devastated the innocent girl was.

Patricia, that woman who accompanied Rea to this day. Even taking care of all the funeral needs, Patricia did not bother to take care of everything. Although they had just met, Patricia had already felt a close bond of love for Rea.

Rea looked at Patricia nanar, "Now I'm alone aunty." The girl pitted her fate.

Patricia could no longer hold back her cries, she immediately hugged Rea, and broke the cries of the two of them. Patricia could only give this hug, hoping to ease the pain in Rea's heart.

Adam moved his feet closer, but when a pair of eyes glared at him, Adam stopped. Abraham shook his head not to try to appear before Rea. For the first time, according to Adam, the man finally chose to leave.

Although with a heart that had been broken into pieces, Rea finally returned home. Still accompanied by Patricia and Abraham, Rea was ushered into his simple home.

Arriving at home, a couple who are his uncle and aunt. Not a warm welcome or a hug to calm Rea down. Except the stare was not happy and quite annoying.

Patricia did not go home at that time, the woman felt something bad about this married couple.

"Aunty, uncle, please sit down." despite the unfriendly gaze from her aunt.

"Who are they? Why not just go home!" said the woman who looks younger than Patricia.

Rea frowned, "Auntie, they're my guests. Be more polite." said Rea.

The woman stared cynically, "Your father and mother are gone. So from now on, you should come with us and follow your Uncle and Aunt's rules!" cetus the woman as she pleases.

Patricia who heard that looked directly at her husband. So too with Abraham. Patricia seemed to ask permission through the look in her eyes. Abraham nodded, giving permission.

"Sorry interjected. I'm Patricia and this is my husband Abraham." - Patricia.

Aunt Rea stared dislikefully, but Patricia did not care at all.

"I am so sorry for the passing of Rea's parents. In response to the previous words of the Madam, I would like to inform you that previously both of Rea's parents had handed Rea over to us. So I guess, you need to withdraw your words just now, because Rea from now on, is already legitimately our adopted daughter!" patricia was undeniable by anyone.
