The Mistress

The Mistress
Celebrations

Rea embraced Patricia and Abraham alternately as a sign of his gratitude for all the kindness and affection he had gained during these two years.

"Thank you Dad, Mom." Rea said earnestly.

They had just returned home from school, after attending a graduation ceremony. Patricia and Abraham are very proud, because Rea turned out to get achievements and become one of the best students for this year's graduates.

"Beloved together. We thank you too. Because you've been our daughter, and filled the colors of our lives." Patricia said.

"The education of your late parents was amazing, so you grew up to be a good and smart girl" said Abraham.

Rea smiled, reminiscing about the times she spent with her father and mother. How wonderful that time was.

"As a gift from Dad and Mom, Daddy will celebrate your graduation. We're going to invite friends and family over for dinner" Abraham said.

Rea shook his head, "No need Dad. It's just a normal graduation, it doesn't have to be celebrated." Rea subtly declined. Actually Rea still doesn't feel good about all this attention and giving.

"You're refusing a gift from us?" said Abraham.

"It's not so Daddy...."

Patricia's face looked sad, making Rea a dilemma. Patricia knew it made Rea give up.

"Alright Dad. It's up to Daddy" he said in the end.

Patricia smiled, pinched Rea's cheek, "Well, that's good."

Rea thought the dinner in question was just a family dinner. But it turns out beyond Rea's shadow. This was no ordinary dinner, but a big party.

Rea did not expect the dinner in question, it turned out to be this fancy.

"Rea, are you ready, baby?" Patricia went into her room. Just then, Rea sat in front of the large mirror. The makeup artist had just finished decorating the girl, until Rea was now transformed into the angel of heaven.

A black dress designed especially for her, looked so charming wrapped her slender body.

"Look at Mommy's son, you're so pretty baby." praised Patricia, making Rea smile.

"Thank you Mom. Mommy is always beautiful too, it's worth Daddy crazy about Mommy." no less, Rea praised her foster mother.

"Is it really noticeable that your Daddy is judging Mommy?"

"of course. Remember not when Mr. Harry came to dinner. Daddy's face reddened and furious because Mr. Harry saw Mommy with a look of adoration." Rea said.

Patricia chuckled, feeling above the clouds after hearing that. Patricia admitted, Abraham was very loving and possessive of him. But behind that great love, there is a struggle that cannot be forgotten.

Rea and Patricia got down from the room, walking gracefully towards the garden that was already filled with invited guests.

"Mom, did Aunt Molly come too?" rea said with a feeling of anxiety. Because Aunt Molly, Abraham's sister who doesn't like Rea's presence in this family. Aunt Molly was never nice and always cornered her at every meeting.

Patricia nodded, she understood what Rea was worried about.

"Don't be afraid, baby. During the party stay with Mommy. Aunt Molly wouldn't dare bother you." she said.

Rea nodded, hoping for no chaos tonight, as it had been.
