Apology

Rea went into Adam's room, where this was the first time he had ever entered. Despite almost eight years of living in this house, Rea did not dare to go inside there.

"You go first, I'll take something." said Adam.

Rea said, with misgivings the girl went to Adam's balcony. Meanwhile, Rea's bead also traces Adam's room which is different from the other rooms.

Just like the person, this room is more dominated by dark shades. There wasn't much stuff there, there was only one big cupboard and a few photos hung on the wall.

Rea sat down on a chair on the balcony, and Adam came to put a bottle and two small glasses on the table.

"So, what do you think of working in Daddy's office? Was fun?" ask Adam, start the conversation.

The man poured wine into the glass.

Rea nodded, "Daddy taught me and I got a lot of experience from there" he replied.

Adam gave Rea wine, and Rea shook his head. "I don't drink alcohol." she refused subtly.

Adam raised his eyebrows. "Never drink or..."

"I never drink alcohol. My late mother said alcohol was not good for health" he said.

Of course Adam wondered, how could a girl the age of Rea never taste the name alcohol. Moreover, Rea was in an environment that was always in contact with that intoxicating liquid.

"alright. I will not force. But I can drink, right?" said Adam.

"Of course."

"Heard you broke the project a few times and raised the company's profits?"

Rea smiled, then nodded faintly.

"Wow, I didn't expect it." as he sipped his red wine.

When Adam for the third time poured his red wine, Rea held Adam's hand.

"Don't drink too much, it's not good for your health." the girl shook her head.

Adam was fixated, staring at the girl for quite a while. Rea who felt too presumptuous and thought Adam was angry, immediately withdrew his hand.

"I'm sorry. I reflexively did it." Rea was afraid Adam would get angry.

"Hey, why is your face scared like that. Relax." said Adam.

"Sister Abi said he stopped drinking alcohol because you always forbid it. And I want to be like Abi too. I want to quit this fucking drink. Then remind me if I touch this drink again." Adam smiled gently, making Rea able to breathe a sigh of relief.

Rea smiled, replying to the man. Adam raised a glass containing half red wine. "One last glass. May it?"

Rea nodded. Not long after, Rea yawned.

"You sleepy?" ask Adam.

The girl nodded. "Then go to bed."

As the two of them left the balcony, Adam led him to the door.

"Rea, wait." Adam pulls Rea's hand, before the girl leaves.

"What's wrong?"

Adam's gaze was so deep that it highlighted Rea's eyes, making him misbehave.

"I'm sorry for all my crimes against you" said Adam.

Without thinking for long Rea, nodding, the girl was touched by Adam's apology.

"Rea has forgiven Brother Adam for a long time. It was Rea who should be thanking you very much. Because Brother Adam's family has been willing to take Rea from captivity." said the girl sincerely.

Adam smiled, then spread out both hands, leaving Rea confused.

"You don't want to hug me? Brotherly hug?" said the man.

Rea chuckled, without waiting for long, welcoming Adam's embrace.
