Three World Swordsman

Three World Swordsman
068: Leaving Yongan Village

Chu Lang became furious upon regaining his consciousness. After all they were his men who had been following him for the past dozen years.

After what Yao Chan had done to her, Chu Lang felt that he could no longer hide his evil deeds all along.

The sword of one of the guards standing behind him. Then jumped to attack Yao Chan who had expected that.

Yao Chan dodged the sword slash by rewinding a bit of his body. Furthermore Yao Chan only dodged every attack that Chu Lang launched without replying to it.

"Chu Village Chief Stop your actions!"

Yu Ma yelled at Chu Lang for understanding what Yao Chan was doing.

Chu Lang did not care to hear the yelling of Yu Ma. He is determined to avenge the death of his men even though his life is a bet.

After dozens of attacking Yao Chan, Chu Lang only realized that the ability of this young man before him was far above his ability.

"Chan'er .. knock him out but don't kill him!"

"Good Uncle.."

Hearing Yu Ma give his instructions, Yao Chan no longer avoided Chu Lang's sword slash. He held the sword that was about to slash into his neck easily.

Chu Lang was shocked to the point that his mouth opened, his sword slash being so powerful that it was blocked with just Yao Chan's left palm. The sword shattered into pieces after Yao Chan squeezed it.

Chu Lang immediately released the remaining half of the sword and jumped back away from Yao Chan. Yet Yao Chan moved even faster with the steps of the Wind God.

Yao Chan let go of his fist as Chu Lang had just set foot on the ground. Such a swift attack was unable to be tackled by Chu Lang until his body was thrown against the wall of his house.

Chu Lang tried to get up while wiping the blood coming out from between his lips. But unexpectedly, Yao Chan was already standing before him hitting and punching his body several times.

Chu Lang sat down with a gasp of breath and his body felt heavy. His face paled as he realized his inner power had been crushed by Yao Chan.

"You.why don't you just kill me?" Chu Lang's voice trembled as he pointed at Yao Chan who was smiling sinisterly.

"If Uncle Yu Ma had told me to kill you, your life would have been flying!"

Yao Chan responded to those words while raising the collar of the robe Chu Lang was wearing. Then threw the old man in front of Yu Ma.

Yu Ma was slightly surprised by Yao Chan's slightly changed attitude since he woke up in the forest. It was not usual for Yao Chan to be as ruthless as some time ago and also the one he had just shown.

"Chu Village Chief..I will take you and your Brother to the Imperial Capital. Pray that the emperor will not give you the penalty."

Yu Ma said firmly, then ordered some soldiers to bind Chu Lang.

Soon the leader of the guard soldiers of Yongan village came and saluted Yu Ma. His forehead shriveled, when he saw that Village Chief Yongan was bound with his sister.

"General Ma Yun welcome to Yongan village, if I may know what the real problem is ?"

"General Ma Yun what should I do to help you?"

"I will take both of them to the imperial capital today as long as the new official has not been appointed, you will be the leader of this village for a while."

Yu Ma also ordered the warrior leader to prepare a prisoner train and some soldiers to escort the carriage.

In addition, Yu Ma also explained that the group he led would stay overnight in Yongan village. Yu Ma asked the soldier leader to prepare a place to stay.

The warrior leader then explained that the house the village chief was currently occupying was not Chu Lang's private house but rather the house given by the previous village chief who had passed away and had no descendants.

Yu Ma gasped in amazement at the explanation, praising what the former village chief had done who voluntarily gave a house of this size to serve as the seat of Yongan village government.

Had the Wu empire had more village heads like that, it was certain that the villages in the Wu empire would have grown by leaps and bounds and the population lived in prosperity.

Yu Ma decided to stay at the house. And will continue on its way tomorrow morning.

The next day, the warrior leader had prepared what Yu Ma had ordered. Chu Lang and Chu Lao were loaded onto a prisoner carriage made of barred wood.

The entire village was shocked to learn that their Village Chief was a robber leader. At first they could not believe that Chu Lang, who was being friendly every day, was a ruthless leader of robbers.

Upon learning of this, the residents pelted Chu Lang and Chu Lao with stones as the prisoner's carriage passed in front of the settlement.

Six soldiers who were assigned to escort the prisoner carriage, painstakingly managed to bring the horse carriage out of Yongan village.

Yao Chan and Yu Lian had bought two good horses from the villagers. The two looked excited as they spurred their horses away from Yongan Village.

The group, now numbering thirteen, drove slowly behind the carriage. They moved at the speed of the prisoner train.

With the speed of the prisoner train, Yu Ma predicted that they would arrive at the Imperial Capital at night.

Arriving on the main road leading to the capital, Yu Ma asked Yao Chan, Yu Lian and Zhu Yin to set off first with an Elder as a guide. While he and several other elders will escort the prisoner train.

"Dad I went first with them. Dad be careful." Yu Lian looked excited as she was soon to meet Lin Hua whom she already considered to be her own mother.

"Hahaha. don't worry about Lian'er's father, come with Chan'er, so you'll meet your Aunt Lin Hua sooner."

Yu Ma said with a forced-looking smile. When she mentioned Lin Hua's name, she somehow felt sadness given the condition of Yao Chan's mother. His face looked gloomy for a while.

This made Yu Lian stunned to see him, which was when Yu Lian realized that her Father had special feelings for the Mother of the young man she secretly loved as well as her older brother.

A dilemma struck Yu Lian's heart. But he chose to be quiet and did not ask his father.
