Chapter 14 - The Woong Family

Riyan Alaska is the only child of Eric William or known by his Chinese name Yong Woong with Khaliza Rahmah, a beautiful, Muslim, religious, native from the city of Minangkabau, Padang (West Sumatra).

Yong Woong is a founding man of Singapore's largest legal gambling company (casino) in collaboration with his younger brother Lim Woong.

Apparently the wealth was not enough to satisfy the desire of two sons Chen, they re-founded an illegal gambling company or netted in the case of the gambling Mafia led by Yong Woong or Father Ryan Alaska.

Apparently the happy news did not get a good response from the father. Chen is furious and does not accept if his son becomes a Muslim, nor does he approve of their marriage and Yong's decision to leave their casino company.

The threat did not sway Yong to marry Khaliza. Since then all the facilities, the wealth given by the father was again withdrawn except for the property owned by Yong himself. Since he was no longer part of the Woong family, Yong had to change his name to Eric William.

After marriage, Yong took his wife to move to the capital to develop their small company. That's where Ryan Alaska was born, a handsome and intelligent boy.

The birth of Ryan makes the Woong family quite happy, for Singaporeans like Chen, the birth of a child is the most expensive gift and is a pride of its own because it has offspring, many women there are reluctant to give birth to children.

The relationship between Yong and his father improved, Chen tried to persuade his son and grandson to return to the Woong family, Chen wanted Yong to divorce Khaliza and then betrothed her to the Woong family's chosen woman. Yong insisted he would never leave his wife at any time.

"There's no need for you to give me back my share, just take it, you've got enough school to Ryan and educate him to be a CEO who can compete in the business world, after that give him back to his mother, and then give him back to his mother, because Ryan is his mother's right!" yong said to Lim.

Lim agreed to take Ryan Alaska to Singapore and the boy was named Tan Woong as the next generation of Woong.
