Alice and Jackson (Part.3 ) Flashback
Jackson takes Alice to the biggest hospital in town. The doctor said if his condition was no longer possible to do the process of dialysis, because he was too long not undergoing the routine treatment that he should have received.
Alice had already resigned to her life, what she wanted had already materialized. Meeting Jackson was the greatest gift God had ever given him. He did not want to be greedy anymore with his destiny.
Not with Jackson. He was still trying to find a solution for Alice. Until the doctor advises to find a kidney donor that is suitable for him.
Without waiting any longer, Jackson asked the doctor to check his kidney match with Alice. He was willing to live forever with one kidney. As long as this girl can live healthy.
Not with that girl. He can't let Jackson's future be ruined just because of it, which even his own family doesn't care about. Although he has found the right kidney donor for him, not necessarily his parents want to sign the donation agreement as a guardian. Father and mother must be reluctant to spend so much money for him.
Jackson and Alice sit on a hospital park bench. They are busy with their own dreams.
"What if I marry you?" Jackson said as he held Alice's hands together, and looked at her intently.
"Don't marry me for pitying me! I don't want you to be a widower because of me" Alice does love Jackson, but she doesn't want to be selfish.
"Then you want to leave me! After making me fall in love with you?!" Jackson said in a loud voice.
"Then, you'll also leave me alone with your memories?" Jackson dropped a warm globule from his eyes. He could not imagine losing the little girl in front of him who had secretly entered into his heart without him noticing. His heart was broken just by imagining it.
While Alice, she was surprised to hear Jackson's confession that turned out to love her as well. In fact, his love does not clap one hand. He saw the tears that came out of the hazel eyes of the man in front of him, signifying the sincerity of a man.
"Let's fight together, honey!" Jackson said softly. He really wants to fight for the life of the woman he loves, with whatever he has.
Alice hugged Jackson tightly. He nodded his head at Jackson's chest. She was crying in his arms, her heart was moved. He was fortunate to meet a man as good as Jackson, who accepted him at the worst time of his life.
They ask permission to marry Alice's parents, but both parents seem unconcerned about what Alice will do.
Alice's mother squinted her eyes, she underestimated a Jackson who was only a lowly police officer, while her husband himself was the Chief of the Police Department. For him his first daughter was very embarrassing, maybe he had been a mistress of mature men who he now brought home.
Moments later, Alice's father returns by throwing a document at Jackson. "Sign! After that, you can take him away as you please! He is no longer part of this family!"
They only asked Jackson to sign a document stating that he would not seek compensation to them for the costs he would incur for Alice later.
Alice was very hurt by the treatment of her family. Jackson agreed to this. He put his signature on the paper. Then out took Alice away from the family that never wanted her.
He would marry Alice and look after her all his life. Without asking for a dime from this family no matter what. They even just inaugurated their marriage with the priest. Jackson who from the beginning had no family, and Alice who is now abandoned her family.
After the marriage, they immediately performed a kidney transplant surgery procedure, with Jackson himself as the guardian as the husband of Alice.
"Calm down! Everything's gonna be okay! I'll take care of you no matter what!" Jackson clasped his wife's hand tightly, channeling life force to Alice.
The kidney transplant operation went well, Jackson as a donor recovered faster because of the condition of his body healthy from the beginning. All of Jackson's expenses, he sold the inheritance left by his parents, to finance the care and recovery costs of his wife for three years.
Jackson also had to quit his job to look after his wife. He chose to open a martial arts training business in his home area, in order to monitor Alice's recovery condition.
Jackson loves Alice and vice versa. Even though they are quite distant ages. However, they lead a happy life, as they had dreamed so far.
They live simply. Jackson, who was abandoned by his parents as a teenager, and Alice, who was never thought to exist by his father and mother, complement each other. In the third year of her marriage, Alice was declared pregnant.
