CHAPTER 24

Ryu brought the Emperor's suitcase from his car. "You're not staying here?" Ask Emperor.

Ryu returns to the Villa after having dinner with the Emperor and Adelia. Ryu immediately cleans himself in his room and goes back down to the kitchen to fetch mineral water, but he is surprised to see a woman he knows well enough.

"When are you here?" Ask Ryu cynically.

The woman replied without looking at Ryu, "It's been a week." Answer's flat.

"Are you running away from the woman whose husband you're dating?" Ryu asked insinuatingly.

Ryu smiled smirk, "Audrey, the fruit fell not far from the tree. You're like your mother flirting with and snatching Mommy Nanda's husband."

Audrey looked at Ryu cynically. "I only dated that man once and I really didn't know he was married. Why does my one-time mistake make everyone look at me suspiciously?" Audrey said with emotions rising.

Ryu is silent not reciprocating, Audrey is indeed his cousin even though only a half-cousin, Regan Papa is a stepbrother with the King who is none other than Papa Audrey.

Ayla looked at Audrey, "Audrey, do you know Ferdy is married?" Ask Ayla.

Audrey shook her head. "I don't know, Aunty." Audrey answered with seriousness.

Ayla sighed heavily then looked at Ferdy. "You're lying to my nephew, please go and take your wife, from now on don't call Audrey or I'll act." Ayla said firmly to Ferdy.

"Audrey, sorry." Ferdy said with a guilty face.

Ferdy immediately drags Sherly from Ayla's WO office and takes her away. Ayla took Audrey to her room.

"You really don't know?" Ayla asked while treating Audrey's arm that was injured by Sherly's scratch.

"I really don't know, Aunty." Audrey answered softly.

Ayla sighed, "You know what your mother did in the past, destroying your Papa's household with none other than my sister's Nanda, aunty wishes you weren't like that either and lived better than your Mama." Ayla said.

Audrey just lowered her head, her tears continuously dripping over the skirt she was wearing.

Ayla does hate her mother Audrey who is out of nowhere, also Audrey's father who now lives working outside the island. Keiina tidied back her groceries and would give them back to the Emperor, she did not want the Emperor to consider himself taking advantage of Mutia's kindness.

Keiina opened her bedroom window and looked at the night sky from her room, for a moment she sighed. "Is it true that Master Key will help me find my brother?" Keiina asked in her heart.

"I have to find Kai so I know where Mr. Anhar and his wife are, and then avenge my pain and Mama's on them." Keiina muttered back.
