CHAPTER 86

The Emperor sat down while propping his head up with his two hands. Ryu recounts everything at once apologizing on behalf of Keiina, his wife.

The Emperor was in two positions he could not choose. Audrey rubbed the Emperor's back making the Emperor raise his head and stare at Audrey's face.

"I have to how is Queen?" Ask Emperor.

"Jalani, Kai. Everything's gonna be okay." Said Audrey who was able to make the Emperor a little relieved.

Ryu returns home in the late afternoon, explaining to Mutia and Adelia, of course Ryu does not tell the truth. At least Mutia and Adelia can calm down when Ryu says that Anhar is currently fine.

Ryu went inside the room and saw Keiina standing at the open balcony door. Ryu approached Keiina and kissed the top of her head.

"Bag.." Call Keiina with doubt.

"Hem." Answer Ryu.

But Keiina just kept quiet and didn't say anything.

"Papa Anhar is fine." Ryu said in the end.

Ryu carried Keiina sitting on the sofa. "Stop everything Keii. Do not let you regret what you did to Papa Anhar later." Ryu said as he clasped Keiina's hand.

"She should be the one who's sorry, Mom." Reply Keiina.

"Papa anhar has regretted everything, even now he lives in regret, Keii. Please stop being rude to Papa Anhar." Said Ryu.

Keiina was silent, though her heart felt guilty, but Keiina felt that she was right.

After three days, doctors said Anhar's condition improved and lab results showed no fatal kidney failure. Anhar was able to recover with a lot of rest and was not too tired. The Emperor took Anhar back to Adelia's house.

After taking Anhar to rest in his room, the Emperor returned to his room to rest with Audrey.

Adelia made porridge for Anhar and drove her straight to her room.

With hesitation, Adelia knocked on the door.

"Lake in." Anhar said from the room.

"Excuse me, Mas." Said Adelia who entered with a tray containing porridge and a glass of mineral water.

Anhar who was looking at the back garden from the window of her room immediately turned her head when she heard Adelia's voice.

"Accl..." Said surprised.

Adelia smiled and headed for the sofa, placing a tray filled with bowls of porridge on the table.

"I'll make you porridge, eat." Adelia said doubtfully.

Anhar walked up and sat down on the other sofa, her eyes fixed on the bowl of porridge before her. "Is this your thing?" Ask with a gaze not separated from the bowl of porridge.

Adelia smiled, "Of course, I made it for you. Do you want to eat? Or still full?" Ask Adelia.

Anhar nodded quickly, "I'm still hungry." He said, "I'll eat it." He said again while taking the bowl of porridge and started stirring it.

Adelia chuckled, "You're still the same, every time you eat slalu porridge in the stir first." Adelia.

Anhar smiled, he could not say anything, enjoying the porridge that he had not enjoyed for a long time, Adelia's porridge was indeed missed.

Anhar shed her tears, but she immediately wiped it, "It still feels the same." His words in a trembling tone held back tears.

Adelia gave a glass of mineral water to Anhar. "Drink first, Mommy." Adelia.

Anhar shook his head, "No, I'm enjoying your homemade porridge. Mineral water can make your porridge taste disappear from my tongue." He said by still feeding the spoon into his own mouth.

"I can make it again, for you." Adelia.

Anhar said, "Thank you." Anhar breathed. "I'm sorry if I'm troubling you."

"Did something happen to you, Mom? I ask you to live well. But I see you're not okay." Adelia.

Adelia just kept silent and looked at Anhar's face that looked still pale.

"Yes..." Call Adelia.

Anhar dared not look at Adelia's face.

"I want to talk about Kai." Adelia said that made Anhar immediately see Adelia's face.

"Kai said he wanted to take care of you and keep looking after me." Adelia said as she waited for Anhar's reaction.

"Kai is married, even Kai will soon have children. Anyway I can take care of my own life. Kai is no longer a five-year-old kid who needs a presence to his two parents by his side." Anhar.

"But Kai lost that moment, Mas. Kai still wants to feel for his two cool parents."

"But the truth can't, right?" Ask Anhar. "You turned me down, didn't give me a second chance, I didn't want to force it." Anhar.

They were just as silent and immersed in each other's thoughts.

"Adels.. All the mistakes are with me. I'll bear it. I will no longer take the Emperor from you, the Emperor will forever take care of you. I can take care of myself." Anhar said softly and lowered his head.

"We can still walk together, Mas." Adelia said, which made Anhar lift her face. "We can fix everything, I want to make the perfect family for Kai." Adelia.

Hearing that makes Anhar happy, it feels like Anhar wants to attract Adelia to hug him, but at a glance he remembers Keiina's rejection and also her imperfect self, making Anhar feel that her world collapsed instantly.

"Your daughter won't take it." Anhar.

"Keiina is our daughter too, Mas." Adelia.

"Keiina won't admit me." Reply Anhar.

"You should be trying to believe it, Mom. Not giving up."

Anhar shook his head. "I'm sorry, Adel. Please don't pity me. I can live well." Anhar.

It made Adelia disappointed, Adelia stood up from her seat, "Come to you, Mas. What I did was all for the Emperor." Adelia said and came out of Anhar's room.

"I'm sorry, Adel. I really don't mean to hurt you anymore. I just feel inappropriate for my condition." Anhar muttered regretfully.

At dinner together, the Emperor asked Anhar to come to dinner together, all looking quiet enjoying the food, until all eyes were on Keiina.

Keiina stood up and ran towards the nearest bathroom, she spewed out what had just entered her mouth. Ryu immediately caught up with his wife, swiftly massaging her nape.

After she finished spitting it out, Keiina washed her mouth, Ryu rubbed the sweat that was on Keiina's forehead.

"When have you been sick since?" Ask Ryu.

"From this morning, Mommy." Answer Keiina.

Ryu immediately takes Keiina to rest in the room, then Ryu takes a stethoscope and checks Keiina's condition for fear of having something to do with the kidney transplant surgery, but Ryu smiles while checking on Keiina's condition.

"Remember when was the last time you got your period?" Ask Ryu.

"I should have gotten my period this month a week ago." Answer Keiina.

Ryu kissed Keiina on the forehead, then he kissed Keiina on the stomach.

"Am I okay, Mom?" Asked Keiina who felt afraid if her kidneys were in trouble again.

Ryu cupped Keiina's face, "Tomorrow we'll check your condition, according to my examination, you're pregnant, but for more certainty tomorrow we're USG ya."

Keiina's eyes sparkled. "I'm pregnant?" Ask me not to believe.

"Hopefully my examination is not wrong." Said Ryu confidently.
