Chapter 19

Monica was still sitting on the bed. Since learning the facts about Joshua, coupled with the return of Monica's memories of the past, Monica chooses to lock herself in a room, unwilling to show herself to anyone. He also did not tell people about his memory that had returned. Monica thought that if she told her, they would all be more worried about her condition, especially the mother.

With the return of Monica's memories, she learns that she is not part of Frances' family. Monica was very afraid of this fact. Yeah, Monica vividly remembers how her friends treated her when she was in school. But, fortunately Monica did not experience any symptoms when her memory returned, just a little dizzy. So he didn't have to trouble his family anymore.

Now Monica knows why her family is so protective of her. The reason, because they don't want Monica to reminisce about that bad past. Out Frances thought, Monica's old memories must be buried, in order for the girl to grow better. But... There is a sense of tightness when his memory has returned, he so misses Alex even more.

Monica sighed, she could not see the past anymore. Everything had already passed, what he currently needed to think about was...how after this could he live without Joshua? Joshua Spencer, whom he knew, was an old friend. How could he possibly forget Joshua?

When Monica begins to think of a way to reunite with Joshua－ so she can tell the man about her past, she suddenly knocks on Monica's bedroom door. Automatically, Monica turned to the door. A moment later, he saw Angela Frances raising her head from behind the door.

"Can I come in?" angela asked, asking for permission, before she actually went into Monica's room.

Monica smiled thinly. "Of course."

Angela goes into Monica's room and closes her cousin's door. He sat down on Monica's bedside. "You still thinking about Joshua?" ask Angela.

"Hm." Monica's sahut is short. Yeah, Monica did think of Joshua, but this time there was something else that made her keep thinking about the man.

Angela also stroked Monica's shoulder. "She must be thinking of you too." she said, then she continued, "oh, you still like J.Dawn right? I just got two fan tickets."

"Seriously!?" exclaimed Monica, with sparkling eyes, suddenly her grove disappeared.

Angela nodded, excited. She was very happy to see Monica's facial expression. "I got a free, Christmas show. Wanna go with me? All I want to go home, we'll go with uncle and aunt."

Back Monica put on a sad face, her smile disappeared. Slowly the people closest to her began to leave, in the end Monica returned alone at home.

Seeing Monica's facial expression, Angela immediately grabbed onto Monica's two shoulders. "Monica, hey?" Monica, who had originally looked down, was now staring at Angela. "Later if there's time I'll play here" he said.

"I understand." Monica said while nodding. "I can't be selfish." Monica also put a smile on her face.

Angela also stroked Monica's hair. "Okay, we'll tell aunt about the J.Dawn fan meeting."

As Angela was leaving Monica's room, Monica held Angela's hand. "What's the show in town?"

Angela patted her forehead. He forgot to meet Joshua's fans in town. It must have been hard to persuade her aunt. "Oh, I forgot." said Angela. "I'm going to persuade auntie that you can go see J.Dawn." she said.

Monica also sighed. "Actually I hesitated to tell you, but if I'm quiet, of course, not good for me." the girl fell silent for a moment, then she continued, "actually my memory has returned and I intend to find Joshua."

Angela looked immediately dumbfounded, she was round her eyes, unable to believe what she had just heard. "How come? Told me? Your head isn't dizzy? Is something going on?" Angela started to pick Monica up with a lot of questions.

"Angela one-on-one." said Monica. "I'm fine, okay? I don't feel anything, just a little dizzy. About my wish to meet Joshua, because there's something I want to talk to him about. It's about my past, he's my old schoolmate."

Angela menanap. He could not believe it, nor could he cover up the fact that he was really worried. "You... are you okay?" angela asked once more, doubtfully.

Monica smiled, then she nodded. "I'm fine."

"Thank God! It turned out that what I and the others were afraid of didn't really happen." then Angela hugged Monica tightly. "I'm really scared of Monica, I'm scared." Mumbled.

Monica also returned Angela's embrace, while stroking her cousin's back. "I'm fine." then Monica took off her hug and grabbed Angela's shoulder. "You can help me, right, so you can meet Joshua?"

Angela nodded in spirit. "Of course, of course we'll meet Joshua at the fan meeting."

"Seriously?" Monica immediately rounded her eyes.

"Yes." said Angela full of emphasis, "even you can immediately show your longing for Joshua." joked Angela.

Monica pushed Angela slowly, then she laughed. He almost forgot that Joshua also likes to read novels, especially J.Dawn's. Monica remembered the first time she visited Joshua at the inn, when the man was having a hard time. Monica is happy to hear that Joshua's insomnia is gradually improving, even now Joshua has returned to the city and continues his work.

Monica wants to know, what is Joshua doing right now? Did Joshua think of Monica, like Monica thought of him? Joshua must be busy. And there are many more thoughts about Joshua in Monica's head.

Monica was relieved, as her memories had returned. He finally found someone who was his reinforcement first. Although it could not be denied that he was also sad to know the fact of the death of his brother. But his current priority is Joshua Spencer. He had already changed Monica's view of the past and the future. The past has become a memory, while the future will continue to be faced.

"Angela." long silent and in a state of disarray, Monica ventured to call Angela.

"Yes?"

"Please help me persuade mom, so I can go to town."

The first day for Joshua Spencer to return to work, after taking his vacation. The man walked through the office corridor while replying to the friendly greetings from the employees. This time he wanted to visit his friend, Ferdinand. Joshua wants to talk about his new novel that is about to be published. After arriving at the apartment, Joshua did not immediately rest, he chose to complete a collection of stories that he had assembled since he was in Gibbston Valley. Most of his stories were written about him and Monica.

Joshua still can't believe he's in Wellington. The atmosphere is so different. Usually when he wakes up he will smell wine or milk, but now the aroma is so different. Maybe because he was already used to the environment in Gibbston Valley.

Joshua Spencer knocked on the door as he reached Ferdinand's office, then Joshua walked in and saw Ferdinand raising his head. Also seen the face of the ungodly Ferdinand, Joshua think Ferdinand took time to finish the script from freelance writers.

"Oh, hi, Josh!" greet Ferdinand while lowering his glasses, then he placed them on the table. "It's good to see you back." he said.

Joshua approached Ferdinand and sat in an empty chair next to Ferdinand's desk. "It looks like you're in a bad shape" Joshua said.

"Yeah, that's it. I'm working on another writer's script, I have to take overtime" he said, fixing his messy hair. "By the way, no souvenirs?" jest.

"I'm sorry, but I seem to have forgotten about it" Joshua said with a short laugh.

"You owe me, Josh. Now tell me how you're related to Monica."

Joshua shrugged both of his shoulders. "Actually I'm not here to tell you that, I'm here to give you my work during the holidays."

"Please, not now!" yells. "My head is about to break."

Joshua laughed short. "Okay, let's talk about something else."

Ferdinand shrugged his shoulders. "I want to hear about your relationship with Monica."

"Why do you insist on being curious about me and Monica, anyway?"

"I just want to know, because this is the first time you've fallen in love, man." Ferdinand said.

"Fall down... what?"

"Fell in love, Josh! People will also suspect that you're in love, Joshua."

Joshua was a little hesitant. Is she really in love with Monica Frances? Joshua admits that he loves Monica. But to fall in love? Looks like Joshua still has to examine his heart.

While waiting for a fan meeting, Joshua must make sure he feels for Monica, before he meets the girl. Speaking of fan meetings, Joshua has given two special tickets to Monica and Angela. He hopes Angela can bring Monica to Wellington.

"Joshua, at lunch, will you come with me?"

Joshua's daydream was still, after a moment of silence. "Sure, where do you want to eat?"

"Near here, I want to introduce someone" Ferdinand said.

"Who?" Joshua looked furrowed.

"Look at it later." Joshua saw Ferdinand smiling widely, looking very happy. Then Joshua remembered, oh. it seemed like he was going to meet with a 'new band, ' as Adrian meant at the time.

Joshua responded with a nod, then he remembered his purpose here. He then reached into the bag of pants. "Oh yeah, I have to get back to work. Here I give you my flash, you can check my work, I write some short stories." Joshua also gave the flash in his hand to Ferdinand, Ferdinand accepted it.

"Okay, I'll check later." she said, then she continued, "at lunch, I'll wait in the lobby."
