The noise began to enliven the atmosphere of Monica's home in Gibbston Valley. Starting from friends, relatives, and business colleagues gathered behind the Monica house surrounded by savana⸺green grass and shady trees. Coupled with the squeaks of the birds as well as the bright morning sunshine.

Monica's father and mother were busy conversing with one of the restaurant owners that Angela's family had brought in from the city. Unlike Father and Mother Angela, they are both welcoming guests who congratulate them. Actually Monica still did not believe that this day would come. It felt like time had passed so quickly and now he was in the very event he had been waiting for.

Monica sees Angela and Adrian standing in the courtyard while receiving a warm welcome from their family and friends. Today was not only a happy day for them, but Monica was also very happy. Because everyone is happy, Monica is happy too. Especially now that he had the thing that others had when he was twenty-five years old, namely freedom. It feels very happy.

Plus now he's got Joshua Spencer.

Well, the man is now next to Monica, watching the wedding of Angela and Adrian.

Angela and Adrian decide to get married right in early spring. It has been almost a year since Christmas. At first they wanted to get married at the beginning of the year, but because of something, they decided to rewind their wedding day.

And. yeah, Christmas this year will of course be different for Angela and Adrian, because now their status is official as a couple. The hue of the smiles of both of them looks so clear, especially if they are very happy at the moment.

"Can't wait to open it?" joshua asked, making Monica who had been focused on watching Angela and Adrian, immediately turned to the side.

"Officialize what?"

"Our relationship, of course." replied Joshua as he raised his hand which was now linked to Monica's, until their 'pair' ring was clearly visible.

Monica smiled shyly. "You want to be inaugurated how else? Aren't we in a minute...."

"I haven't formally proposed to you in front of so many people" Joshua said, cutting off Monica's remarks.

"No, Joshua. Not now." said Monica with a laugh. "We just got engaged last week."

"You don't want to marry me?" chirp Joshua, with a look of disappointment.

"It's not so, Joshua." then Monica held onto Joshua's cheeks, "this show belongs to Adrian and Angela. I want us to have a special event to inaugurate it."

Joshua instantly removed Monica's hand from her face and began to cleared his throat. Monica knows how to make Joshua wrong. While Monica laughed satisfied to see the behavior of her lover.

"Why? Is something wrong?" monica asked, without guilt.

Joshua did not reply to Monica's questions, the man still coughed occasionally to hide his nervousness. A second later, Joshua took the wine on the table and drank it in one gulp.

"Joshua's pants." said Monica while stroking Joshua's back.

On the sidelines of Joshua and Monica's activities, Ferdinand suddenly appeared with his partner, Felicya. The two seemed to join hands in the middle of the wedding of Adrian and Angela. Even the two look more friendly than the bride and groom in front there.

"Hey, bride-to-be!" fernando on Monica and Joshua. The call immediately made Joshua and Monica turn to the source of the voice. Both of them were compact to think that the call was not intended for them.

"You look more affectionate than the bride herself" Ferdinand continued to realize Joshua and Monica looked at him as he approached them. Meanwhile Felicya who was next to him smiled broadly at Joshua and Monica.

"Hi!" greet Felicya friendly. "You daritadi here?"

Monica shook her head, "we were able to get around."

"really? I also had time to go around here, it turns out the place is very cool. Maybe I'll rent your inn next time if I want a vacation."

Then Monica and Felicya continued their talk, just like Joshua and Ferdinand who are currently poking jokes typical of men.

"When do you catch up, huh?" pelt Ferdinand while hitting his friend's shoulder slowly.

"Following what, huh?"

Ferdinand clucked, "don't pretend not to know!"

Joshua rolled both his eyes. "I almost proposed to him earlier that you didn't come and ruin everything" Joshua said, a little upset that Ferdinand had ruined his moment with Monica.

"Wow, so has your relationship gone that far?"

"We were engaged last week, by the way."

"Huh? Seriously?"

Joshua nodded.

Joshua shook his head, "not yet. We just inaugurated them both. I want to make a surprise for the big family."

"Well, Joshua. I didn't think you'd be this fast..."

"What's fast?" well, the sound of the bell made the two men turn their heads and found the bride and groom⸺Adrian and Angela approached them both. The voice came from Angela.

"Oh, hi guys!" hello Ferdinand, immediately approached the two⸺more precisely approached Adrian and gave an embrace to his sidekick, then the man approached his friend and whispered, "are you ready for the first night?"

Adrian who heard it immediately threw a sharp gaze towards Ferdinand, he found the man was already laughing mischievously.

"Can't you not be too frontal?"

Ferdinand was still giggling amusedly. Angela who was next to Adrian frowned, not long after she turned her gaze towards Joshua.

"What were you talking about?"

"It's nothing." Joshua replied.

Angela started to stare suspiciously. "you guys must be talking about something about Monica, right?" guess Angela correctly.

"Well, Angela's your guess...."

"No, we're talking about something else." Joshua immediately interrupted Ferdinand's words before the man revealed his plans to propose to Monica. Joshua's eyes immediately glared at Ferdinand who was still showing his mischievous smile.

"I was just talking about work with Ferdinand" Joshua continued, "oh, yeah, why are you here? Have you finished the greetings?"

"Actually not yet, Angela complained of leg pain and wanted to sit first." said Adrian.

"Heels is too high, my legs are sore." complained Angela while holding her calf.

"Then take her to sit there." Ferdinand directly pointed at one of the chairs not far from where they were standing.

"Okay, then we go there first." then Adrian took Angela to rest, to the destination earlier. Joshua and Ferdinand are still staring at the departure of the two brides.

"Basic bucket!" joshua sneered towards Ferdinand, then left the man alone.

"Next time I'll bring my family here. Maybe even if I'm tired I can escape here." said Felicya who did not stop expressing his desire after seeing the beauty of Monica's residence.

"You can go here anytime. Terms are one, you have to tell me if you want to come here. I'll take you for a walk." Monica replied kindly.

"That's great. I'll definitely call you."

As they were engrossed in talking, Joshua suddenly came and patted Monica on the shoulder. Automatic, the girl immediately turned her head and found Joshua who was now smiling at her.

"Hi, Josh! Have you finished talking to Ferdinand?" ask Monica.

Joshua nodded, then he looked at Felicya next to Monica. The girl looked at Joshua, amazed. "Felicya, sorry, can I ask you a favor?"

"O-oh. What's up?"

"Please take care of Ferdinand for a moment. I need to talk to Monica about something, lest she follow us."

"Ah, yes, of course." said Felicya, then the girl immediately approached her lover who was currently standing staring around the party.

Joshua was staring at Monica. "You wanna go around with me again?"

Monica frowned. "Where?"

"Somewhere you've been pointing at me."
