Surprising Confession

Daniel glanced at the circular watch on his wrist. It was late in the afternoon, but Elana had not yet appeared.

Aris had contacted the woman several times, but there was no answer. The consecutive messages that Aris sent were none of them answered.

Aris slammed into his body on a soft sofa, then turned on the tv. After changing the channel several times, there was no news other than the news about the gossip of the artists, including Rani.

Daniel didn't pay much attention to TV. He was almost bored with all the same news every day.

"Rani is still a warm talk" Aris said, shaking her head. "Pity, he must be so frustrated."

Just now Aris will turn off the TV, a show also managed to grab the attention of Daniel. "Wait a minute, what's the news?"

Aris then presses the volume button to enlarge the sound. "Oh, that's Maddampolla Skin's representative. They demanded Rani pay five billion in damages."

Daniel exhaled a rough breath, then leaned back in the chair. "Find the woman and pay her charges against Rani. Find the others too. I don't want any more shows like this on TV."

"Well, I'll take care of it as soon as possible."

Shortly afterwards the door of the room opened, giving rise to the figure of Elana. The woman immediately commented a big smile when she saw Daniel in her room. 

“Says you waited for me since. Sorry, I have a lot of business out today. I'm meeting with investors.” 

Daniel immediately stood up from his seat and approached the woman. Clutching his arm tightly with the bonus of a raining gaze.

"Daniel? What's the matter?" he said grimacing as Daniel's grip made him in pain.

“Elana, I trust you because we've been friends since childhood. Then what do you mean you lied to me all this time?” 

Elana looked at the two men before her with an incomprehensible look, trying to remove Daniel's grip. “What do you mean? I lied in what way?” 

"Don't pretend anymore!" snapped Daniel. "That time you said you were sending people to tell Rani that I was in an accident, right? But the man you asked me to tell you that I canceled the wedding unilaterally."

Elana slams into Daniel's hand. At the same time, the woman's eyeballs began to tear. “I don't believe this ... You accuse me and trust them more?” 

“So you mean I lied?” screech the woman.

"What is your explanation for this?"

"Where do I know? Aris, I know you didn't like me for a long time. But that doesn't mean you can accuse me of not being in front of Daniel, right? Daniel knows how I am!"

Aris only responded to Elana's long grunts with a tongue-tie.

Just as Daniel's mouth opened to speak, a televised broadcast again grabbed their attention.

Rani, who was sitting in a wheelchair and wrapped in special clothes for the hospital patient, appeared in front of the camera with her face still paled. 

"That's Rani!" aris said astonished. "Why is he in the media? Didn't he just finish the operation?"

Daniel who was focused on the show was just silent.

“I am Elmira Maharani, apologizing for the inconvenience to a video about me that circulated widely in the community. Today, I want to make a confession that the woman in the video that was spread was really me. Again, I apologize profusely.” 

It feels like Daniel's whole body is crashing to hear Rani's confession. While Aris had not been able to say a word.

Elana laughed sinisterly while wiping away the clear liquid flowing at the end of her eyes. “You see, the woman finally made a confession. What more proof do you need?” 

Both of Daniel's eyes were shut as television footage showed him pushing Rani into the hospital building, after making a shocking confession.

“What is this? Why would Rani make a confession like this?” aris said still with a look of disbelief. “Daniel, this must be something. You don't just believe!” 

"We're going to the hospital now!"

Without excuse, Daniel dragged his steps out followed by Aris behind him. While Elana reviewed a thin smile.
