"Well, what are you really planning?" asked Aris shortly after Dika asked him to write down point by point the requirements that must be fulfilledRani.
Right now, they were inside a room, while Rani was still at home waiting outside.
"What kind of question is that?"
"What are all these weight requirements for?" tanya Aris made Dika chuckle. "Are you really serious?"
"Yes I'm serious. He'll get the most painful retribution from me."
Aris clucked at Dika. "I just want to remind you, don't let you regret it later."
"Nothing to regret. If anyone should regret it, then it was him. Not me."
Aris took a long breath. After he finished typing and printing, he handed some sheets of paper to Dika's hand.
"Now I'll tie him to this rule." Dika smiled meaningfully, reading word for word written in the letter of the agreement.
"What if he doesn't agree? You made a heavy condition."
"If he doesn't want to, threaten to cancel. He'll have no choice but to obey what I ask."
A thin grin was present at the corner of Aris' lips hearing Dika's words.
"You know, now I believe one thing."
"What?" ask Dika curious.
"The fool is not going anywhere. That which is separated by man, can be reunited by the universe."
Dika was silent with a flat face.
...........
Rani's eyes opened wide reading the requirement points Dika had just made, it seemed like the man had just dropped a grenade on his heart.
Rani kicked down the table furious and got up from her seat. The paper in his hand was torn and thrown into Dika's face.
"Why are there so many conditions? We're just getting married. Why does she have to sleep in the room?"
"Whatever! If you want to get married. If not, that's okay!"
Dika looked at Rani full of probing after finishing her sentence. He really knew that Rani had no other choice to save her career.
"Aris, give him a copy of the deal" he glanced at the pieces of paper strewn across the table.
Quickly, Aris walked into a room, then returned afterwards with a copy of the deal.
"First, I can't walk, so I always need people's help. If we're not in the room, who's gonna help me if I wake up at night."
"You can sleep in the room with Aris. No problem for me!" Rani pointed at Aris with her eyes.
"I'll have a wife, then what's the point of my wife?"
"But our marriage is only a setting aka lies. We don't have any ties other than in the marriage book."
When Rani vehemently raised objections, Dika even smiled.
"I don't care at all. Second point, my status is your husband, so you must respect me! So from now on, call me mas."
Rani's jaw opened wide upon hearing the ludicrous request. "Crazy!"
"Third, before nine o'clock in the night, you should be home and not be wandering around anymore." This one condition can be well accepted by Rani. "Fourth, you are to serve me as a wife serves her husband."
"Serve?" Rani's mind immediately floated upon hearing the word serve. In that instant, he reflexively crossed his arms in front of his chest. "I don't want to! Didn't you just say you didn't want to come into contact with me? Why now ask to be served?"
Seeing Rani's reaction made Dika grieve, how could there be such a confident girl.
"What are you thinking? You think I'd touch something that someone else has touched? It won't! I just want you to serve all my needs."
Rani glanced at Aris, then heaved a sigh of relief. At least, the service Dika meant was not about the relationship in bed as he had thought earlier. Even so, Dika's unfiltered speech still made him feel annoyed and hurt.
"All right, I agree." Resignation, there is no other choice that can be taken by Rani.
"In the next sheet there are still some other requirements. You can read it at home."
Rani's breathing was heavy. Dika was completely heartless to him. With teary eyes, Rani stuffed the requirement sheet into her bag.
While Dika looked at him with a meaningful smile.
I will repay you painfully for my futile sacrifice.
