Risa Wedding's Story

Risa Wedding's Story
TWO

“Everyone will never want to start love, if they know the last part.” Ezra

There was no significant change, a week after their return from Bandung, that night Ezra came home late again. With silence, Ezra knew Risa must be waiting for him, then when entering the house he saw Risa had fallen asleep on the living room sofa. Sighs, slowly slipping her arm under the woman's body, and then carrying her into the room.

Ezra lowered Risa's body carefully on the bed, then raised the blanket, she sat on the bedside and began to loosen the neck tie that felt suffocating, then grab a towel and go towards the bathroom.

Ezra came out with a towel hanging on the waist, a warm bath was enough to make his muscles relax again, after finishing changing clothes Ezra stared at Risa at a glance, they stared at each other, Risa apparently had awakened. Not a word came out of Risa's lips, Risa was actually very desperate with their relationship.

Then the man sat on the side of the bed, still using a towel. Ezra sat behind her, she was already sitting, she looked very stressed, Risa did not dare to make her husband more difficult.

“There's a problem?” Risa asked at last, albeit with a cautious tone but no answer.

Risa straightened her body and inched closer to Ezra, then began to help massage the man's head. Risa knows Ezra is just as tired, trying to be prejudiced. Ezra her own husband, she must begin to trust the man. Though aware of Ezra refused to explain, why he always overtime. But there is no harm in starting again with more positivity.

“Where to make?”said Risa, while continuing to massage her husband's head and shoulders.

Ezra stopped the hand massaging his body, although it felt very pleasant and made his pagans feel reduced, there was something he had to finish first. Risa understood what Ezra wanted, as the man turned around and did not stop looking at her lips. Honestly, he was still not used to the glare every night, whether for love or natural reasons, obviously his heart was always not functioning normally. Ezra leaned over her body, giving one soft kiss on Risa's thin lips. And from that one kiss continued, Risa knew Ezra had to finish her wish immediately.

It was still very dark outside when Risa woke up, at four in the morning. Risa was still very lazy to wake up, suddenly her smile began to crack, when she remembered the incident last night. Can Risa be a little hopeful, or indeed that hope has appeared in the cracks of their household. Last night Ezra touched her gently and attentively, not usually they do that very intensely and pleasantly.

Whether this was a sign, that their relationship was beginning to develop, Risa did not know for sure, which was clear now her lips could not stop curving upwards.

Especially when he felt the sturdy hand still hugging him tightly, Risa gently released the hug, even though she herself was not willing. Then grab the towel and pass towards the bathroom.

If first asked, what day Risa likes the most is definitely Risa's answer is Sunday, because that time she can take a break from work and be free to sleep all day at home. So now when his life has been devoted entirely to marriage, then suppose asked the same thing, Risa's answer is still the same. Why, because only on the last day did Ezra really spend his time at home. Wanting as late as possible Ezra went home every night, his Sunday remained for Risa.

Although they actually do not spend much time chatting, like how other couples do. But their activities every Sunday are quite fun, usually Ezra washing his car in the morning, while Risa makes breakfast.  After that they watched the film together, in silence. Or sometimes Risa follows Ezra, when they decide to run in the morning.

Yes although their relationship never really melted, maybe it was due to the lack of communication between them. More precisely most of the one-way talk from Risa. Still it's better. The same day, they decided to watch a movie at home. Ezra is busy washing cars outside, while Risa is making popcorn for their movie show.

Actually it was Risa's plan, she had filed one day with Ezra. And though no sound Risa knew Ezra agreed, because every week Ezra always did. It means watching a movie accompanying Risa.

Perhaps if others saw them now, no one would have thought that their relationship was quite cold. Because of the physical closeness between them every day is not cold at all, except in some circumstances. For example, today they decided to watch a comedy romance film, Ezra sitting on the floor with a thick carpet. Risa was sitting cross-legged on the sofa, with a large bowl of popcorn. While occasionally feeding popcorn into Ezra's mouth. Several times they laughed at the funny scene, you could say Risa enjoyed it very much. There is no need to be hypocritical and Risa feels entitled to be treated like a wife.

Today Ezra is more open, easier to smile displaying his dimples. As if Risa was able to grasp it, as if implied Ezra finally gave the green light to their relationship. And judging from the track record of their marriage, just this time Ezra behaved like that, Risa became curious about the contents of the man's head.

At night Risa opened the door slowly and entered the room, while Ezra was reading a book. His body was leaned against the head of the bed. Risa inched closer to Ezra, looking at the man for a moment.

“What do you think about our wedding Za?”

Risa looked at Ezra from behind her book, then Ezra lowered the book she read.

“Means?”

“Do you ever think how our marriage will last ten years, will we continue to have a marriage like this?”

“I think this wedding is fine,” replied Ezra kalem.

“Are we going to have children? Do you want to give me the offspring of Za?”

Ezra put his book on the nightstand, starting to focus on their conversation. Ezra looked at Risa, there was a weary twinkle also in Ezra's eyes that Risa did not know because of what?

“Why is it so hard to say what he wants, without having to worry about Ris' men?” ezra's speech is more like a statement, “Why not speak clearly aja,” he added.

Risa pursed her lips, only then did she realize besides the cold man was also very insensitive. Risa turned her back to Ezra, not continuing their conversation. It was already feeling covetous, but then there was a hand that slipped into his waist gap.

One kiss landed on Risa's head, “Then, we try without safety,” whispered Ezra, Risa smiled happily, then the kiss crept into her neck. Tonight is for both of them.

***

Risa was born from a father of Javanese descent and a mother of Sundanese descent, Risa is an only child, from a small Risa raised with the upbringing of the mother who upholds the role of a husband in married life.

When Risa was still in junior high school her mother died, then she was taken care of by her grandmother from her father who was very thick in Javanese culture, the grandmother's upbringing was also not much different from the mother. Women's duties include kitchen, well, mattress.

But even so Risa remains alive in a lot of freedom of thought, she grows up to be an independent woman. But that never melted the teachings of his mother or grandmother, for Risa their ancient teachings were not to make a woman suck and become trash. But to make them always remember their place to go home, when dreams and ideals are not a priority of life anymore. Risa is sure, that Ezra is indeed the place to go home, when her dream of becoming a career woman has been held by notya Risa arrogantly let go. But deep in each breath, Risa knew she was just an ordinary woman who needed a partner in her life.

And then when entering college Risa lived with her father's family, Risa's father married when she was in high school uniform, with a Malaysian Malay woman. From his father's second marriage. Risa has two twin brothers, she is about 10 years old.

Risa loved them very much, ever since her sisters were there. Risa feels her father is becoming happier, Risa does not think at all about wanting to have children just to make their marriage happy. But that hope arises when looking at those around her who are expecting a child from her, what else is a married woman waiting for besides a child. Perhaps for Risa is the love and descent of her husband Ezra Prawira.

Risa prepared Ezra's work clothes, while the man was still inside the bathroom. Risa smiled as Ezra came out of the bathroom, shamelessly Ezra put on her clothes in front of Risa who was already as red as a tomato. Maybe this is how the newlyweds feel, which Risa did not understand before. Risa put a tie on Ezra, this time Ezra was silent willingly. Risa bit her lips slowly, the tie was neatly attached.

“What's up?” asked Ezra who made Risa surprised, only this time Ezra asked him first.

“You haven't received a phone call from Papa?”

Ezra was seen thinking before then looking at Risa with an ordinary, flat highlight. It has become a habit, Risa even to the dismay of guessing the contents of Ezra's head that is difficult to guess.

“About honeymoon?” he added.

This time Risa began to feel her heart beating fast, waiting for Ezra's reaction, like waiting for a time bomb to explode, was thrilling. And it just so happens that they have not had a honeymoon, because of the busyness of the man. They have not found the right schedule.

“Papa gave two tickets to Bali, I think he already talked to you.”

“I've asked for leave for the next week,” said Ezra suddenly, Risa until dumbfounded.

Risa caught a glimpse of Ezra's lips twitching as she held back a laugh, without saying much Ezra kissed Risa's right cheek quickly and just passed by.

While Risa was increasingly shocked to face Ezra's new behavior, she could not resist the fireworks that began to explode in her head, as well as the flowers in Risa's heart that began to bloom. Is this a sign of love Risa finally welcomed, may Risa hope.
