48_I Guess He Cares

...Happy reading...

...***********...

Saturday is a holiday for Ajeng. He woke up late last night after overtime. Eleven o'clock Ajeng arrived home. Although his body was so tired, but he was satisfied to have finished his work. In fact, the meeting material for Monday morning was finished he prepared. He wanted to use his day off this time to enjoy life for a moment.

The plan that he had prepared in advance to do body care in the salon, must be implemented before office work makes it like a robot again.

Ajeng who was getting her monthly guests, woke up after the sunlight slipped through the window curtain of her room. He rubbed his eyes. The clock on the wall of the room with a beige feel it shows six o'clock.

"Ah, it turns out delicious can also be lazy like this." Wiggling jerking stretching his body muscles. He rose up because of the call of nature. Maybe, if it doesn't happen it could be Ajeng woke up at seven.

After completing his wish, Ajeng brushed his teeth and washed his face. As she sat at the dresser, she stared at her reflection in front of the mirror while combing her black hair.

"My eyes are like pandas." Ajeng was a little disappointed to see her face that was not as beautiful as it used to be. Though in the eyes of others, Ajeng still looks so beautiful. The definition of beauty for each group is different. In fact, social status is also a major factor in that difference.

"Jeng, 10 o'clock so right? I've reserved three people, you know." The voice from across through the flat object that was currently attached to Ajeng's ear, made Ajeng smile.

"Yes, so dong. Today I took the full package. You see that? My eyes are like pandas." Ajeng was so enthusiastic about talking about the beauty treatment they would do today without caring about her husband.

The words he often said to prepare breakfast on holidays, often he denied under such trivial pretexts. Ajeng never felt guilty, and Tian was already memorized by Ajeng's habits.

Ajeng came out of the room to find the dining table still in a position like last night. There is no aroma of coffee, nor with fried rice like yesterday. He realized Tian wasn't home.

"Mas Tian where, anyway? How early this morning was gone," he murmured after looking at every corner of the house not finding the man.

Ajeng rushed to the kitchen and brewed coffee for himself. For a moment he enjoyed the fragrance of his scent which was like opium to him. Do not forget a packet of biscuits as a complement in the morning before he started the activity today.

Ajeng immediately made breakfast with makeshift ingredients that are still stored in the refrigerator. It does not take long, two dishes of fried rice, an egg of beef eyes and a plate of scrambled already served on the dining table. Ajeng immediately enjoyed his breakfast without any intention to wait for Tian.

Just a few mouthfuls of Ajeng enjoying his breakfast, the door of the living room was opened. A moment later, it appeared Tian passed through the dining room that fused with the middle space. The man was still wearing sports clothes. It seemed like he had just jogged in the sports arena provided in the cluster where they lived.  Her still wet hair with a small towel around her neck had already answered the question in Ajeng's heart.

"Breakfast, Mum!" said Ajeng when Tian downed the water from the refrigerator.

"I'm full. Had eaten chicken porridge together with the complex fathers." Tian passed Ajeng just like that and dropped his body on the sofa in front of the television.

Tian immediately turned on the television. He doesn't care what Ajeng does. Because his care all this time will only end with emotions that will hurt his heart.

"Why do you rarely eat breakfast at home? If you get sick, our spending will increase. Even though this food nobody eats. If for a long time like this, my money can be wasted," Ajeng grumbled.

Tian initially had a smile to hear Ajeng worry about him, but suddenly emotions overpowered his heart when the tip of Ajeng's sentence was again about money.

"You're so outrageous, Jeng!" It was very desirable for Tian to curse. However, that sentence only he swallowed himself even though his little heart ached.

"The food will be eaten later, Jeng. There is still afternoon, there is afternoon. It doesn't have to end this time either." Tian passed to the bathroom, he did not want to hear Ajeng babble that would become more and more.

... ...

He went with his coworkers to a spa. After Ajeng's departure, Tian spilled all his frustration. He punched the sofa he was currently sitting on. As a man, he really felt unappreciated by his own wife.

"I'm sorry, Jeng. All this time I've been trying to survive. But it seems like my stock of patience is so worrying. I don't want to when my patience runs out, I'm still here. I'm afraid that one day I'll do something out of my control."

Septian took the keys to the motor. He rushed his motorcycle to a small house near his office. For a few days he weighed in after seeing a home advertisement being contracted out. Today he made up his mind to leave the house immediately.

The road that day was so quiet. Most of the workers spend time off with their families. So did Tian's comrades. They are busy taking their children to school, or just take their wives to go shopping for daily necessities at the supermarket. Such a trivial thing looked so precious to Tian. Because, the holiday for Tian is the same day as the time he was single first.

Tian spends his time alone in loneliness. While Ajeng spend time with his friends going to the salon, to the mall, or even watching in the cinema.

Unbeknownst to him, Tian's motorbike had stopped in front of a small house with the inscription 'Contracted' not far from his office.

"Good day, sir. I'm in front of the house you're going to contract with. Can I look around the inside?" tian said to someone through his cell phone.

"Good, Sir. I'll wait."

Not long after, a middle-aged man stopped in front of a tiny house and shook hands with Tian.

"Come, Mas. Please look. The house is small, anyway. But it's still okay for a young family like Mas."

Tian followed the man. Look at every corner of the house carefully. The house was small, but it looked so beautiful. Seen from the small garden in front of him that is arranged so nicely. The room was so neat, complete with furniture even though it was not as beautiful as the furniture in Ajeng's house.

"This used to be my son's house, Mas. But since her husband moved to Jakarta, the house is empty. It's a shame if no one occupies. It could be damaged by itself," said the father while showing the inside of the house.

"It looks like this house is more comfortable than Ajeng's house," his inner self. The corner of Tian's lips lifted. He wants to immediately escape the problems that have been tormenting his mind.

"And it would be more convenient if Aisyah and her baby occupied this room." Once again Tian dreamed of opening the door of the main room with a window facing directly into the small garden next to the house.

Tian immediately dismissed the thought of that thought. He shook his head and patted his head remembering his madness.

"Why, Mas. Mas dizzy? Should I get you some lightheadedness at my house?"
