Las Vegas
A hot night covered the city of Las Vegas. The sound of vehicle horns filled the highway. Tonight is a very beautiful night because there are millions of stars scattered in space. Everyone was enjoying the night with a walk around the city. Some are seen stopping at cafes to gather and joke.
In a house in the middle of town, Dominic has just finished his bath. The man buttoned one by one the buttons of the white shirt he was now wearing before stepping towards the table in the middle of the room. A man stepped back when Dominic was already there. The man put one small car in the mini-city that was on the table.
"Is it complete?" ask Dominic.
"Already, Sir. It's as you wish" replied the man again.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. The man who was guarding Dominic opened the door. A man in a black jacket entered the room. Dominic looked at him for a moment before focusing on the miniature on the table.
"I'm sorry, boss," said the man who had been putting together the miniatures. There's Dominic and the information-carrying man. For a moment the room was quiet again because no one spoke.
Dominic looked at the neatly arranged miniature man on the table. There are women, there are men too. Miniatures are like humans. If you look at it more clearly, the face of each miniature looks different. There are faces of Faith, Zion, Abio, Austin, Livy and Norah. The six are on the table. They stood in a lined up position. Dominic takes a miniature of Livy and Abio. The man took him out of the arena. He looks satisfied after successfully removing the miniatures Livy and Abio from the arena of his game.
Dominic still has no response. The man took a miniature Austin and put it a little further away from Norah. Dominic looks very serious at times when he is playing. To the extent that the man who was now inviting her to speak felt neglected.
"This woman. I want him to be the next target." Dominic takes a miniature Norah. Then show it to the man now standing in front of him.
"Okay, boss" replied the man. She recalled Nora's face before twisting her body and left the room. The man will not return if his mission fails. Dominic glanced at the miniatures Livy and Abio then looked at him sharply.
"It's your own fault. You two shouldn't have to interfere in my matters. Now accept the consequences. That wedding day will never be possible. Because soon one of the brides will leave the world."
Dominic was silent for a moment before laughing contentedly. To the extent that the voice of the man filled the spacious room he now occupied. He was the only one in the room. It was like dozens of people in it. It was so crowded that his voice could be heard from a distance.
"Faith. We'll be together, baby. You'll be back in this house soon" Dominic shouted again. The man looked like a madman for missing Faith too much. He doesn't even know how to enjoy life when Faith is no longer by his side. "Faith dear ... are you thinking about me now too?"
